If you've got a smart tv, you can get PLEX. That will stream the movie over the network with ease. They also generally have DLNA capabilities, so even if you don't have Plex, you can stream it with ease

DVDs look more cinematic than Blu Rays. Lower resolution masks detail which is what physical film does. The viewer is left to fill in the gaps which distances the image from the real world. Blu Rays are too sharp, they feel more like a Netflix show.

Not to mention when compared to 360p, 480p has 1.5 times the amount of pixels, while 576p has 1.8 times. This further pushes the quality.

Go do some research about viewing distances. Anyone who knows what they're talking about knows that 4K TV isn't worth it unless you're a) running a home theater b) sitting impractically close to the screen. Outside of these cases it only really matters for games and computer monitors.
