not canon
Lym, this is kino.
nth for Jodie.
what happened to daybeenanon? I haven't seen him post here or on strim for weeks.
MADAM! WHAT YEAR IS THIS?
Moffat has confirmed we are entering the golden age.
The last year before Jodie kills who
Some bad news guys...
Watching Magician's Apprentice and Witch's Familer in the stream cytu.

He died in a car crash?
You guys are going to feel silly when she becomes more popular than Tennant
I'm halfway through Ark in Space and it's pure kino so far, my eyes haven't even left the screen.
The show has been loosing its audience for years and SJW stuff only makes it worse and worse.
I can see the show ending under Chibnall, or Chibnall doing huge damage to the franchise at least.
At least the last timethe show died it died without any hate against it from the general public, this time could be much worse.
I hate to break your victim complex, but the general public could not give less of a shit about "SJW"s.

Doctor Who only declines in popularity if people keep yammering on about the idea that "Doctor Who is in decline" and generating negative hype. Nothing to do with the actual quality or content of the show itself. (S26 is among the best of Classic despite having the lowest ratings, Heaven Sent is arguably the best ep of the modern show and did poorly compared to S8). And the whole "SJW" thing is absolute bollocks, if that was the case RTD's flamboyant gayness would have killed it from day one.
I stopped watching Doctor Who in 1965 when the Doctor turned from a serious authority figure into a giggling maniac. They shouldn't have rewritten his character.
>30 to 50% dislikes on every video announcing Jodie as 13
The general public does not like it. They might not care about the smaller stuff like all that Thin Ice shit but they will not warm up to a female Doctor.
RTD was left-wing, not SJW.
Also I don't disagree with you about the quality of the show.
Make some more of these. Like
"Master: Is the future going to be all girl?"
Doctor: We can only hope."
Capaldi's Doctor has "Talk Shit, Get Hit" tattooed on his arse, the result of a drunken bender in Aberdeen. This is canon.
Imagine if the General had been in a "normal" incarnation when this happened:
Doctor: I'll try not to break your jaw.
*punches black woman in face*
Reminder that Timothy Dalton would have returned in Hell Bent if Rassilon hadn't been given fuck all to do.
If they're both going to be female, does that make it a picture of a catfight?
How is RTD not an SJW writer? He's the first writer to introduce black and gay companions into the show. Revamped the series so it revolved around the companion and her feelings rather than the Doctor's. And introduce recurring trans characters like Lady Cassandra.
Recently watched, Rose, The End of the World, Dalek and everything past Empty Child in Eccleston's run. There's some gold here but is there any point carrying on? From the look of these threads this show went to complete shit and the network don't know what the fuck to do with it.
The show is kino right now
>the network
I don't know how it works in burgerland but this show is run by writers
If you liked series 1, you'll pretty much enjoy the rest of the show, at least up to series 4
>this show is run by writers
Not completely. Moffat wanted to cast Capaldi immediately but the BBC demanded to see an audition first.
No? /who/ consesus is that series 1 is kino but the rest of the RTD era is shite.
The recent years of the show have been divisive. Which is to say, it's kino and normies hate it.
...
>youtube dislikes are a sign the general public doesn't like it
By that logic, the general public doesn't care for Nicki Minaj or Justin Bieber, yet those two became pop culture fixtures for the general public.
No, because one is an example of a character becoming controversial and losing popularity while your examples have always have their fanbase while being controversial.
Also Minaj and Bieber don't have a 50% dislike rating on most fo their vids.
It was not heavy handed like Thin ice, RTD had subtelty and taste.
Apologise.
>implying youtube likes represent the general public and not triggered thirteen year old gamers
Well that clearly had a massive impact on events.
>more popular than Tennant
Lol. And here's the part where you screech "MARSHALLFAG!"
But most of Jodie Whittaker's videos don't have a 50% dislike ratio either. Also,
>the guy who portrayed Americans as pic related has subtlety
Martha's race wasn't used to rewrite history and there was a lot more to Jack and Cassandra than their gender and sexuality.
>Revamped the series so it revolved around the companion and her feelings rather than the Doctor
I agree here. This is the worst thing RTD ever did. Making the companion a surrogate for the fangirls has damaged the show in so many different ways.
>RTD had subtelty
this is the point where your bait becomes too outlandish
Apologise.
this is actually what americans are like though i can't fault rusty on this one
>Moffat wanted to cast Capaldi immediately but the BBC demanded to see an audition first.
Is there anything resembling a source on that? Are you sure they didn't just audition because it was the sensible thing to do, even though he was their first choice?
Rewatch The Shakespeare Code, dood
What on earth does Death in Paradise have to do with the show's hypothetical popularity under Whittaker?
>tfw brianna just dumped a load of new doctor who reactions on her channel
sesska who?
Ok, I'm aware that there are quite a few Amerilolberals and Ausfags here, hell, that mess Sarah "Regency London expert" Dollard is one of the latter. But remember this is a show from Britain, where Rotherham and numerous other scandals were allowed to happen thanks to what Sup Forums would call "SJWs". So yeah, the public despises them.
We would have got Victorian Clara if the BBC hadn't vetoed it. Who knows what else they've ruined with their oversight, *cough* 12th Doctor.
Apologise.
And besides, Doctor Who showrunners have cared more about international attention over the years anyway. And nobody gives a shit about Death in Paradise outside the UK.
I think the thing to take away is that it's probably just better to watch the show and just make up your own mind about it
Someone get the Hoodie spray.
Source?
>in which Shakespeare constantly uses inappropriate language to refer to Martha's race
You mean the episode written by le homosexual Islamophobe writer that basically did what Thin Ice did, without flinging shit?
BBC didn't veto it. Moffat changed his mind when he came up with the Impossible Girl idea.
Why did the Doctor think he was going to die in “Magician's Apprentice”?
>Who knows what else they've ruined with their oversight, *cough* 12th Doctor.
capaldi's era has been the greatest since the 60s you rtdfag bilge scum bottom of the boat keel barnacle filth
About the Clara thing, not the Twelfth Doctor, because I know that's bullshit.
The thing is, it's in Clara's handwriting.
Never mind, the Clara thing's bullshit too.
Please excuse me but I've got to ask
He was being summoned by one of his most notorious enemies, and he expected it to be a trap, but he felt a sense of obligation to go because he'd just abandoned Davros as a child in the past. So he suspected he would end up getting his karmic just desserts.
No, Moffat wanted to cast a black dude until he saw Capaldi's audition the same thing happened with Smith.
There is no /who/consensus
You just made that up. Moffat recently said he got obsessed with the idea of seeing Peter in the TARDIS, which corresponds with earlier comments that he was their first choice.
>DAVROS HAD HIS EYES CLOSED ALL ALONG
HAHAHAHA
I THINK I JUST PISSED MYSELF LAUGHING
Apologize
Untrue. Capaldi was the aim. For Smith, I know they auditioned a few black guys but I don't think that was a specific goal.
I know that he wanted to cast a black guy for 11, but that guy turned it down. Don't know if that was the case for 12 though.
/who/ ranks who
You peed yourself after watching a guy open his eyes? That's gay.
Newfag
Looms
It's scary with how many similarities 12 has with 6.
I was saying that the BBC changing the Twelfth Doctor was bullshit, not this you fucking melon
Name five. And they better be strong.
Most of the 10th Doctor episodes suck, why is he regarded as the best new Doctor?
Capaldi's era is an exorcism of the flaws of Baker C.
>why is he regarded as the best new Doctor?
He's only regarded as this by plebs, who can't actually distinguish between a well-made episode and one which just ticks boxes.
a. He's pretty
b. RTD is a populist writer
I don't care what you said. I said that Moffat wanted Capaldi but that the BBC demanded to see an audition first (proving they have oversight) and you asked for a source.
>Both Doctors were mean and cranky in the beginning but chilled out throughout their run
>Both had a random crossovers with their predecessor
>How Clara's ending is similar to Peri's
>Both came after a mediocre anniversary episode
>Both Doctors were hated because of their personalities in the beginning
Okay, fuck you. You said
>We would have got Victorian Clara if the BBC hadn't vetoed it. Who knows what else they've ruined with their oversight, *cough* 12th Doctor.
I asked for a source about Clara, not the Twelfth Doctor thing. But both of your points are false so I don't give a shit.
Both were GOAT with shitty stories.
Both had low ratings.
Both are known for being violent and harsher Doctors.
Both had a special full-length story (non-special and non-anniversary) where he meets one old Doctor and they have an adventure.
Both were men.
See? It's pretty much the same era.
>Implying Five Doctors or DotD are mediocre
new sesska on stream
You said that you knew that the Twelfth Doctor thing was bullshit. So I gave you a source. It took me a while to find it and frankly I couldn't be bothered finding one for Victorian Clara.
You implied the BBC ruined the Twelfth Doctor with oversight, which I called bullshit on. And the BBC vetoing Victorian Clara is bullshit, otherwise they wouldn't have begun writing her into scripts. That was a late-game executive Moffat decision.
Five Doctors would've been good if it was was called the Four Doctors and fixed the wasted potential that is the companion interactions.
DOTD would've been good if Ecclestion was in it instead of this forced filler doctor and Gallifrey wasn't saved.
>I couldn't be bothered finding one for Victorian Clara.
There isn't one. He originally planned to make Victorian Clara the companion, but then came up with the Impossible Girl story which he preferred. Simple.
Wait, we have two articles about ratings?
