Turns out that that furry comic BBA got a reboot /slowpoke. Apparently the artist returned after like ten years to remake it because she now she has "matured" can "draw better", write "better stories" and has been influenced by "Watchmen".
So I went to look at how so much more mature and deep a comic about sparkledogs from teenagehood is now going to be and holy fuck... THAT's how she evolved in a decade as an artist?
These wolves are literally Balto and Alpha and Omega recolors. The bad guys are hyenas, which is painfully original. The opening scene is the main wolf's mother dying as the villain laughs and says "Watch me as I dine". You can't make that shit up.
