Star Wars 3D

Remember when this happened? We would have gotten Return of the Jedi 3D this year if George never sold to Disney.

It's all Plinkett's fault.

I went to this alone and don't regret it.

How was it?

Coming from someone who made their family take him to see it 11 times in the theater when it was first released, I enjoyed it. It's pretty much porn to me.

I was hyped to revenge of the sith again on the big screen. Might have seen attack of the clones just to see the battle of geonosis on the big screen again and the asteroid chase.

also its my belief that these 3d releases george was doing would have been preparing the audience for his version of episode 7 in 2019.

>and the asteroid chase

Those seismic charges going off in 3D would have been tits

3D movies are for retards.

Yeah I was really excited to see Revenge of the Sith again, and ESB on the big screen.

Fuck now I'm mad disney stopped this

so did I but I fell asleep when jar jar came on scene and woke up during final battle.

>wanting to see George's rape on-screen
what the fuck is wrong with you

>This guy probably pays for Disney's on screen molestation
RotS is better than TFA and RO

Wow, I fingered someone for the first time when this came out. Time flies holy shit.

Get a load of this bootlicking faggot. You know, George isn't gonna notice you no matter how much you suck his micro-penis.

It was great

>5 cents has been deposited into your account
Disney has them out in full force right now

>fingered someone
>someone

You could have just said "a guy". We're not homophobes here.

You were still in nappies faggot.

By all means, don't go watch the new ones, they're not good either.
But at least Disney didn't go back and retroactively ruin their old films like George did.
That's one good thing that could come out of Disney owning the property, a new release of the OT unmolested. My VHS tapes are looking a little worse for wear.

Why would he sell to Disney if he was planning to do his own episode 7?

how was the 3D conversion?

That's what everyone was assuming at the time. George was planning on re-released on movie per year, and kept hinting it was leading up to something. The whole thing was very reminiscent of the lead up to the prequels being released.

Idk, I just remember having a good time.

p good film that way, desu.

I think he sold to disney to prove how he doesn't suck.. it didn't work, but he did show that disney sucks

And miss all the underwater beasts and podracing? Fuck that.

He was offered an assload of money and wouldn't have to deal with the critics and "fans" shitting on him like they did with the prequels.

He must regret it now

podracing sucks, but yeah, seeing the underwater beasts wouldn't be too bad

I think you suck user

op here that part I miss sleeping past. they did a good job giving off the feeling of dread. plus giving us a monster to give scale to the void of the deep.

Goerge has hated the franchise since his marriage with Marcia ended and he blamed it on Star Wars. He's been talking about getting out of it for years, and after the 3D release of Episode 1 performed way worse than he was expecting, he probably decided to get serious about it.

>movie was shot in 1080p
>no way to uprez it

It would have looked like shit

What happened to the guy that played Maul? There was a period of time when his career seemed to be on the rise, like up through the G.I.Joe movies (Did I just answer my own question?) where he was playing Snake Eyes And he was the best part of those. Then nothing all of a sudden.

What? It wasn't shot on film? And wouldn't a digital shoot be at a much larger resolution anyways?

He was always just a glorified stuntman. He still gets regular work, it's just not very high profile.

Why did they never do AotC 3D?

I tried this but i couldnt get in. turns out it was a no singles theater

I mean yeah, but that's kind of why I was rooting for him I think. You see all kinds of people with less talent and doing less work making it "big" to some degree. If anyone deserves a chance t the spotlight it's stuntmen. Him and that Quentin Tarantino girl Zoey, I wanted them to be really successful.

George sold to Disney and they immediately canned the 3D rereleases.

he was offered maybe half of what it was worth, if you considered a new trilogy.
He did it because he didn't want to actually make the films, especially after the experience of producing red tails and 'fans' continuously shitting on his writing.
