also, i agree that fans can influence things, but with game of thrones and the song of ice in fire specifically, grrm had an ending or an outline thereof in mind way before GoT went mainstream. So what i'm thinking is that the fan pressure could be useless at influencing the formation of the ending here, because the ending was formed long before said rabid fans even existed.
I guess after all that YASS QUAANing in seasons 2-6 i just want to see dany find modesty and happiness in doing woman things, like raising kids and homemaking, rather than ruling, which really doesn't suit her imo. Oh well, as you said, we'll see.
