Very weird how the film connects with what really happened to Louis right before it came out.

The paranoid cynic in me is almost tempted to suspect it was all an elaborate plan to hype the film or something.

Wonder if they did any reshoots before releasing it to expand on the parallels to Louis real life at the moment.

Anyways, really excellent film.

>The paranoid cynic in me is almost tempted to suspect it was all an elaborate plan to hype the film or something.

That would be dumb because the studio pulled the release of the film.

I know, I know. But...

1) The movie has unbelievable parallels to his real life. It's almost shocking how well it fits with what happened.

2) Louis has had previous success with releasing stuff exclusively online (Horace and Pete), so it might also be some sort of a gamle.

But I agree that it's highly unlikely. But still very weird.

*gamble

its a boring derivative pointless piece of shit.
combined with bad acting and bad directing.
I watched 1 hour and turned it off.

...

The last hour is the best part.

>derivative
Oh look, more hollow "criticism" from another pretentious twat.

>bad directing
Demonstrably false.

>bad acting
Moretz could perhaps be a bit better, but all the rest are great.

Not at all. Charlie Day is cringey as fuck. Rose Bryne can't act for shit. The only somewhat decent actor was Malkovich.

a decent film... but ultimately a failure... i mean its watchable, but theres not much depth...

I disagree. But to each his own.

Depth is not a prerequisite for making a good film. It's interesting. It's a story well told, with confusing and relatable emotions, and real dilemmas and real consequences.

Good, good. Chloe's career might take off again.

Probably not. I'm more interested in what it could mean for Louis.

Black listed for a few years and after the dust settles he makes a comeback.

well thats what i said, its decent. whats relatable about a millionaire tv writer with a daughter potentially dating a legendary 70 year old filmmaker? its not relatable at all.

its pure fiction, completely contrived. depth comes from truth. and theres not much truth in this film

kek

You're a fucking moron.

But (((they))) told me it was shit

It hasn't been released you dumb shit. The leak is from a DVD screener intended for people voting on the Oscars. Louis CK has to try to buy the distribution rights back before it is ever released in the US. According to IMDb there is still a release date in Denmark kek.

Is it worth a fap at least? I like the way Fridge Girl's fat pussy looks in that bikini.

This is something I would also want to know.

Sure just jack off when Louis does in the movie. It'll be like you're hanging out.

Youre a stupid nigger.

You know exactly what we mean, jackass. How much is there sexy Chloe in it?

Insert your parentheses up your ass.

Also, I couldn't give two shits what some random asshole writes on a blog titled after a dead guy that hated Die Hard.

>he doesn't watch porn with his roommate and jack off together

What's your problem bro.

what a fucking hack poster

Explain why.

you can't relate to someone that's successful? stop failing at your life already.

It really is great. Felt like the Louie movie, and presented his recurring themes in the most mature and cinematic manner seen in anything he's done so far. I was worried that it was feeling like and extended Louie episode in the beginning, but was quickly sucked in by the movie. Charlie Day is amazing, but that's not too surprising. By default one of the best movies of the year.
