Atomic Blonde and BR2049 were both so much better than I expected.
Baby Driver was so much worse than I expected.

I'm looking forward to watch tonight The killing of a sacred deer. Pretty disappointed by the rest of the movies come out this year.

BR2049 was a suprising masterpiece, but Baby Driver wasn't a bad film. It just had the NWR syndrome. All style, no substance.

The plot is pointlessly confusing, but the action scenes and cinematography are stunning. I'd recommend watching it slightly drunk so you don't get mad at the half-assed pacing.

Sacred Deer is really solid overall, probably a slight step below The Lobster imo but still well worth watching. Colin Farrell's hair is magnificent

It has one fantastic action scene - the one that anyone that's seen the film knows - but the rest is forgettable. Atomic Blonde is a film that you left unimpressed by, and problems you had with it came to mind very quickly afterwards.
If it wasn't for the good action scene, and the strangulation scene, it would have nothing going for it.

American Made had some good parts, but it felt like they tried to cram too much into the film, even though it felt quite long. Sure Cruise was pretty good, I didn't leave feeling anything about him though.
