>also Thanos
Cue the jokes

I expect Thanos jokes.

Cool.

What is it that attracts Brolin to comic movies?

Anyway, I'm hopeful.

This works so well on every level.

i think he'll be good

I thought Brolin hated comic book movies? Or was that someone else?

That was Hugo Weaving.

I expect endless jokes about there being jokes about Thanos.

And then Thanos jokes.

Brolin hated working on Jonah Hex specifically and no one in the world can blame him for it.

Sweet. I can totally see this.

Not all cape movies.

>Josh Brolin has been discussing his decision not to sign on as Batman in BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE, suggesting that he was in disagreement with Zack Snyder over how the role should be played.

>"Me and Zack had a conversation about it," says Brolin, "and there were several reasons why we said it wasn’t the best idea on both sides. I had mine and Zack had his."

Maybe he wanted to be a character for every studio making cbms

Just DC like everyone else

Dude could be a great Punisher too

>like everyone else
1 out of every 2 critics liked MoS.

Connery turned down Gandalf AND Morpheus.

And better actors took up the role. Will Smith could have been Neo and that would have been maximum cringe.

i droped this movie since the black washing of domino

Cool, but I'm bummed about Domino not looking like Domino.

>Passes on Matrix because he doesn't understand it
>Huge hit
>Passes on Lord of the Rings because he doesn't understand it
>Huge hit
>Reads the script to League of Extraordinary Gentleman
>Doesn't understand it
>Immediately signs, sure he had another hit on his hands
>Rage quits acting
Poor Sean.

But what about Hex 2?

So did you drop Thor with the blackwashing of Valkyrie?

Oh boy, be prepared for Thanos references.

3 out of 4 hate everything after

I was hoping for Lang, but Brolin's a good choice.

>>Plays the biggest hyped villain for the MCU.
>>Stars in FOX's highest selling cape franchise

What is his endgame?

That doesn't refute my statement of fact though.

Playing Batman in the DCEU reboot after Affleck deletes himself.

He wanted to but I guess the studio wanted a bigger name

He can always go to DC with all the other hasbeens

>But it's not Zack's fault the movies turned out the way they did.
Bullfuckingshit. Brolin clearly knew BvS was gonna be a turd from the conceptual point just by talking with him. Good on him.
Shame he didn't dodge Jonah Hex.

Black Valkyrie still looks visually interesting.

Black Domino is just an afro girl.

So does this prove that actors aren't forbidden from starring in rival franchise?

>Thanos will die like a bitch in IW
well, i don't know what else i expected from marvel

>Black Valkyrie still looks visually interesting.
>a little paint in the eyes
She looks like fucking shit. But I don't mind, she's your usual black sidekick character in a Marvel movie. Probably won't even appear in IW.

John Hamm

Ezra Miller is an on the rise indie actor tho.
And Supes is Cavill's first starring role (I think).
Affleck also was a peak fame not 5 years ago for Argo.
Gadot hasn't been acting for long.
Ray Fisher is a respected theater actor.
Momoa is a meme actor.

So yeah, you're wrong.

If Brolin doesn't suddenly get into jail for having child porn in a few dies it will.

But BvS wasn't a turd at all.

>And Supes is Cavill's first starring role (I think).
You fucking wish.

"Jonah Hex" had a great script that was butchered during production.

She still has a blue cape and her hair styled a certain way. Nothing about black Domino screams Domino.

Fucking Good! I'm tired of that overhyped grape!

>2011
How do you get washed up in 2 years dumbass?

Momoa is only known for a single role (Kal Drogo), where all he did was stand around looking menacing and grunt.

I don't know why anyone thinks he's a good actor. He absolutely is not.

Recurring DC actors can't do Marvel movies and vice-verse.

Marvel and Fox are on good terms so they get to share actors.

>She still has a blue cape and her hair styled a certain way
I just see a boring oogaa niggah.

At least he's sexy

I said MEME actor, not good actor.
Meme in the sense that normies like him, so he's not "washed up".

Not even close

What about they share the rights to the Fantastic Four related properties?

:>implying anyone saw that

Seems like a cool thing but feels weird.

Stargate Atlantis was a thing.

He's ambiguously brown attractive.

>>What is it that attracts Brolin to comic movies?

The paycheck.

Not the same person who was talking nonsense about being washed up, I'm just saying Superman wasn't Cavill's first starring role, mostly because I feel the compulsion to remind the world this horroble movie exists.

Not really a starring role for Cavill, lamest death in the movie too.

That's the one.

Don't push it.

Those props look kind of cheap.

I feel like a complete and utter droning retard for being as happy with the helmet as I am.

Diane Lane (Martha Kent) is Brolin's ex wife and that ended pretty badly, I'd imagine that has a lot to do with it.

Immortals was okay.
I likd the scene with the golden cow torture thing.

B-buh muh anti DC narrative!

M-muh Brolin knew it would be the worst movie ever made!!!

I'm sure he's not regretting passing on it or anything.

Affleck got a fat paycheck tho.

Both look terrible and forced and I say this as a black person

He got fat period

The movie also probably is whathe forced him back into rehab

I mean, it was a shitty movie but I doubt he turned it down because of script quality. This movie was going to print money regardless.

I think Live By Night did that.
Company Wars aside, I was somewhat baffles by people's reaction to LBN.
It was just as good as Argo. Argo wasn't a 10/10 or anything though.

>it was a shitty movie
I disagree.

Doesn't black Domino have a white circle on her eye?

I did see Hellworld and I completely forgot he's in it. I mean I tried to purge that movie from my brain so maybe that's why.

Not him, but I dropped thor based on his awful first movie, and the fact that hemsworth is trash.

I just remember lance henrikson dying at the end when real cenobites actually show up. That and it revolved around a party or something. I'll still watch it a thousand times before I ever watch Revelations again.

you are right it was a turd a dog ate and then threw up

I disagree.

you can like a turd, but it's still a turd

Smart move

I disagree that it's a turd.

good pick, too bad movie deadpool is fucking trash, they completely changed the character

WTF I love Brolin now!
No homo btw.

Jonah Hex was good aside from Fox & the dynamite launchers/machine gun horses.

I'm not sure how you expect metal to look in a movie.

Well the audience voted with their wallets, and it under performed.

Like that at least. Not like shitty plastic. You can't tell me that what you just posted and that clip from thor looks the same.

Anyone else surprised there isn't a clause in his Marvel contract forbidding this sort of thing?
I mean, if they were done with Thanos that'd be one thing, but it seems strange to me that Marvel didn't have him tied in a comicbook film non-compete agreement or some such.

Marvel and Fox are on good terms.

Plus Thanos is a heavily CGI'd character.

And?

>Marvel and Fox are on good terms.
pffft

Praying to god this means Deborah Ann Woll has a chance to play Poison Ivy!

No that poster, but the vast majority of on-screen armor-metal is actually just painted plastic and or foam rubber materials, because they dont clang and make unwanted noise in non actions shots, they dont dent, arent as heavy for the actors, and cheaper, and can be touched up in post
So basically, Marvel is just cheap with their props/practical effects

...

I'm more partial to Chastain (but to be honest I kind of hate Karen as a character so I may be biased anyway)
Or Bryce Howard, but I know not everyone wants Poison Ivy that THICC

Marvel and DC are NOT on good enough terms for that.

But they have been polling each other's resources. So one-and-done actors and actresses are up for grabs.

Holy fuck, I've been saying he'd by my number 1 choice since Deadpool hit the fucking cinemas. I almost can't believe it happened.

Chastain is my 2nd choice after Woll.
I LOVE Karen so I am bias in the opposite direction.
Would be content with Bryce.

They aren't on as bad of terms as most people think they are, at the very least.

They have regular talks about X-men TV series, and they probably lend out certain characters or story elements.

>Josh Brolin drops out of DEADPOOL 2 due to creative differences

You jinxed it.

it does when you add them all up in total

They honestly might fix it in post. They add like 5 different layers of CGI to Captain America's shield, and there's an old image showing how every teaser/trailer of Guardians of the Galaxy had upgraded CGI.
