Kylo Ren

No

The lightspeed no-sound thing where Snoke's ship exploded was cool.
It looked nice visually.
Driver and Hamill did a great job considering the hackjob script.

Uh, I'm out of nice things.

Luke was god tier (aside from the plot demanding his death) despite what people on Sup Forums say, all the damage done to his character was already done in TFA. I really liked Kylo Ren as well, it's a shame Rey exists because the movies would be much more interesting without her

...

it delivered the killing blow to this suffering franchise

the spirit of Star Wars is no longer be in pain, its in a better place now. I'm so sorry, George. We failed you.

The music was decent

The memes and titty milk.

...

I think what TFA did to Luke could have been salvaged with some kind of "he was just there to study what he needs to know to become so strong to end this once and for all"

I don't know. I just had hope that there was a way to write your way out of Luke being a wimp who leaves his family and friends to die.

The shitposting.

Well
it's not Attack of the Clones at least, I guess
it tried to be in some places, though

Was it really necessary to have a joke or funny remark after every fucking single thing?

Kylo
Luke projection
Mon Cal light speed allahu ackbar
Snoke dying just so we don't have to deal with his shit anymore

Luke and Kylo.
Rey is also pretty good at points.
Salty Hoth was cool.
The framing of certain scenes like Big Smoke's throne room or Luke looking up at all the AT-ATs.
And most importantly, the biblical scene of Luke looking at the twin Suns for one last time.

ummm sweetie that's how marvel do it x

It looked good.

Yoda giggling as he burned the fuck out of those books actually made me laugh

The Reylo team up was a fucking awesome fight scene out of context, but within the story it was kind of dumb. I'll just file it under "Darth Maul fight" and watch it on YouTube when I'm drunk.

I’m going to see it tomorrow because my aunt offered to take me. Kind of looking forward to the movie but also not because of what I’ve read here.

>implying the throne guard with the sword-whip wasn't based

Leia shooting Poe. Kylo Ren establishing himself as the main character in the trilogy.
That’s about it? It was one of the worst editing jobs I’ve ever seen. I’m psyched Yoda showed up but I think they botched the reveal and they made him not serious at all.

the minion thingies were cute af lol

>Good performances from Hamil and Driver
>Kylo is still the best character of this trilogy
>Music was better than TFA
>Daisy gave a better performance this time around, probably due to playing off of Driver
>Movie overall looked really good, Cinemtography was great, with standout scenes being the fight in Snokes room and Laura Dern's hyperdrive suicide
That's about it

Was it me or did Yoda look like shit?
I mean, the effect.

the voice was shit

Kylo Ren was hella lit, all the rest was hella shit

They decided to do a puppet but CGI it in because of the force ghost effect. It was UNCANNY VALLEY. Pick puppet or CGI.

I agree with all this except Rey, she is worse than ever, she can fight and use the force but never shows Jedi qualities hell her last screen time with Luke she hits him in the back of the head out of anger and it's never addressed

it gets better the more I think about it. I'm glad we got to see Luke in his "prime" even if it wasn't real.

The part where old man drank dick-titty milk while Rey watched in horror.

rey cleavage

>Kylo finds himself forced into force-contact with qt grill
>takes off his shirt and pumps some iron until she shows up
>"Oh sup girl"

actually a good movie, at the very least i have no fucking clue how people actually think 7 is better

7 didn't defecate all over established and beloved characters to this degree.

7 may have been safe and a bit stale, but 8 directly pissed on Star Wars while managing to not accomplish anything.

The red motif in Snoke's throne room and on the salt planet looked really cool.

Honestly more impressive that it wasn't real really, he still had to do all that shit but as an avatar while using energy to project himself across the galaxy

It's cool to see the potential power of the chosen one in action (I know anakin is chosen one but Luke has same potential) which is why they killed him because without snoke kylo can't hope to match him

Cinematography and visuals were good.
Acting was all-around top-tier, given the fact that these actors were forced to work with the abomination of a script that they got.
The Rey-Kylo forcebonding scenes were the best plot points of the film.
The battle on Crait was neat, even if it was sort of a rehash of the battle of Hoth.
John Willaim's soundtrack was alright - not much that stood out but it least it still sounded like good ol' Star Wars (can't say the same for Rouge One's score)
Some of the battle scenes between Finn and Phasma and Kylo & Rei and the red guard were nice.

Rest was absolute dog shit.

best parody since Spaceballs

I thoroughly enjoyed this movie

I liked the rebels being the underdogs again

I liked the cheesy comedy

I liked benico del toro

I liked that rey was a nobody and that she came from nothing to be a powerful jedi

this was a comfy movie

That moment where it looks like a ship's landing gear but turns out to be a space iron pressing some Imperial uniforms was pretty kino.

I really want to fuck that neck

This music piece stood out for me: youtube.com/watch?v=lk6YaL9wg0E

>I liked the cheesy comedy
For the love of God, please be the last person with your genes walking this Earth.

>Kylo Ren and Rey being morally conflicted instead of paragons of good and evil
>Snoke telling Kylo his helmet is tryhard emo trash and him consequently destroying it
>Oscar Isaac being charismatic as hell
>Rey's parents are just desert trash, no grand lineage conspiracy
>Praetorian Guard Fight might be the best lightsaber fight in the series choreographically and cinematically
>Poe Damaroni rebelling against Admiral Umbridge and Leia consequently shooting him
>Hyperspace Kamakaze looked cool
>Luke exploring the Falcon
>Luke trying to Kill Ben Solo was actually a good twist/origin story
>Kylo Ren killing Snoke was satisfying albeit hasty
>Finn killing Phasma was satisfying because she's a bitch
>Yoda ghost was a nice callback
>Luke telling Kylo he's a little shit and he's done trying to save him

There you go, that's literally everything good about this film, the remaining two hours of footage belongs in the trash.

its better then force awakens because it actually trys to be its own film
finn and poe should've been the main characters of this franchise
I liked the cinematography compared to jj's bland camera angles
it was cool of them to actually reference the clone wars and darth sidious. while calling out the jedi order bs

Luke's scenes were great
Rey and Kylo talking to each other thelepatically was cool
The porgs werent as obnoxious as i expected
The suicide attack was fucking retarded but at least it looked cool
Luke astral projecting was fucking cool
Leia got a lot of lines which I liked
Finn's ''rebel scum'' line was great

Hi I'm holding for user

Wow, I literally agree with every single thing you just listed. That's it. That's all that was good.

really liked his in this movie character

>doublecrosses Finn and Chink B and hands them over to the First Order
>does not doubledoublecross First Order and save Finn when the shit hits the fan for maximum profit

I first thought it was him piloting that AT-ST in that hanger scene but it was that spherebot

fuck

This, Luke and Rey+Kylo skyping saved the movie.

Rey kicks Luke sorry ass

he actually makes a few good points with his moral greyness. It kinda makes me wonder if rian wanted to give the guy a bigger role but just couldn't due to Kathleen being a fuckin dictatoring bitch

I thought those scenes sucked.

Literally "the Jews did this" the movie

Rey and Kylo being connected
Luke damage controlling killing his nephew by saying he regretted it
Praetorian guards
Holdo

This movie was better than The Force Awakens

Forgot, Kylo's ship was pretty cool, which is noteworthy because they shit the bed with vehicle design this time around, both functionally and aesthetically.

Though the individual scenes and execution were ehhh, the overall theme of "everyone fucking fails" was present through the whole movie and it was sad and depressing in a good way. Good guys, bad guys, everything anyone did just ended up kind of shitty. Everyone is worse off for having gone through this movie, which is kind of a cool setup for the next film when everyone has to make the best of it.

I must've missed this when I took one of my two piss breaks. Or I just don't remember.

I refuse to believe that the Luke Skywalker I got to know from ep4 to ep6 would hide on some remote island in bumfuckistan, leaving his sister, friends, the entire resistance and all good people out there to die.

Even after the whole temple burning incident with Ben.

I just don't buy it.

>implying the books were burnt

>piss breaks.
>during a 2.5h movie

what the fuck is wrong with you, piss before

He didn't. it showed the books in a drawer on the Millennium Falcon at the end. Rey must haven taken them off screen.

Barring the Finn and Rose stuff feeling like tacked on filler, and the Poe stuff dragging on a bit long I liked everything. Even that stuff wasn't too bad. I think Poe's arc made up for it at the very least.

Rey and Kylo Ren's stuff made up for their shit.

I really liked the scene where Luke meets R2D2 on the Falcon. Just seeing Luke light up and look happy for a moment was great. Hamill was great in this.

>Rey's parents are just desert trash, no grand lineage conspiracy
i disagree with this one because by her very nature, rey is so stupidly talented and overpowered that there would need to be some kind of grand lineage excuse in order to justify it. as it stands, she's just a random mary sue.

Good fight choreography.

Believe I did. I didn't know what the fuck was wrong with me either. I was able to make it through BR2049 twice.

>t. seething aristocrat

>ITT: Post nice things about The Last Jedi
Pic related. I hope.

How did they get Rose back to the bunker so quickly and unharmed? They were like fucking 30 miles away from the cave when they crashed.

like Anakin was.

his father is still a mystery too (also "a nobody") but you don't hear faggots complaining about it. it's just you alt-right crybabies.

MY

That scream of pure fucking hatred unleashed by Kylo Ren as he charges Luke

Seeing how badass Luke was makes me wish we got to see him fight a real nigga like Exar Kun

I was too smart to be successful.

EMPIRE

Why? What makes Obi Wan's blood so special? Or Luke's? Luke's has an entire speech about how he was too arrogant about the Skywalker name and his status as a legend. Rey also gets knocked down a peg when Snoke outright tells her that she's not special and that she only stood on Kylo Ren's level in the first movie because he's an over emotional child. Which he is.

anakin was a grossly overpowered mary sue too, don't put fucking words in my mouth. some dipshit kid in the desert yelling whoopee is supposed to be more powerful than yoda and is the "chosen one" of some bullshit prophecy? give me a fucking break.

End Credits

It*.

Hamill didn't either that's why he made up extra backstory of him marrying a chick and her kid accidentally killing themselves with his lightsaber

I found it really cool the moment that Kylo started masturbating through the force for Rey with her looking and feeling

You go this way, I'll go home.

>Rey's parents are just desert trash, no grand lineage conspiracy
>like Anakin was. his father is still a mystery too
Cuckoldry then. Sasuga tumblr scenarists.

>blue leader standing by

Anakin is a virgin birth born through Sheev force raping his mom though.

Good...

hmmmm Kylo and Rey acted well and their scenes were pretty good if you ignore the overall plot.
Poe was a good actor, if you ignore the plot.
Snoke was actually coming off as pretty manipulative, before he was fucking murdered.

Luke was kind of cool half the time.
Yoda scene was some nice fan service.

Otherwise
Worst Star wars movie ever. Easily.
and it fucking breaks my heart to say that.
Worse than the prequels.
What. The fuck. happened.

It was its turn alright

Rey being powerful is an amazing metaphor for the state of female empowerment in our society today. In this way she is both powerful in the Force but also powerful in her means of overcoming the patriarchy and what she achieves for women around the world in our very own time. White males like to whine about how she is a "mary sue" because they can't handle a woman being powerful. What these neckbearded Nazis fail to realize is that there literally doesn't matter how she is so powerful in the movies because what she does, in the real world, is so much more important and powerful in its own right.

having a powerful bloodline is more of an excuse for a character to be naturally talented than fucking nothing. luke was talented in the force, not as much as rey, but talented nonetheless because his father was a former jedi master. an effort was made which is more than i can say for this movie. it's the same thing as anakin, some bumblefucks in the desert had a kid as powerful a jedi as kylo ren, perhaps moreso, and that's the end of it. it makes her overpoweredness seem even more out of nowhere and also wraps a really shitty bow on what is rey's only real character arc, it's like the first thing you'd think of if you assumed she wasn't related to any previously established character.

Rey

If Lucas planned on actually explaining Anakin there was no evidence of it in II or III.

Now the same thing is happening with Rey and everyone is suddenly horrified.

we still know who Anakin's mother was, how is upbringing was, who he was, etc.

who the fuck is rey? some homeless bitch

Milk Sloth x Rey porn is now a possibility

>Praetorian Guard Fight might be the best lightsaber fight in the series choreographically and cinematically
But what about all the webms

A lot of people don't like this movie, which means that it wasn't a movie for everybody. This is good because a movie for everybody is a movie for no one.

She should have had a bigger role

Shmi was a piece of shit slave and utter worthless trash. Just like Rey's parents. She wasn't anything special either. You also can't complain about her bloodline not being special while saying "MUH SKYWALKERS" when their bloodline started from nothing too.
