Why do people dislike RotJ? I've loved this movie since I was three years old.
That being said I also like TPM and R1.
fucking dumb teddy bears of the forest ruin it for me
The original trilogy showed children that the journey from innocence to experience makes you a better person. You don't start out with competence and wisdom, you develop it. Virtue and personal development will reward you. Good people do exist, and often they become that way by forming bonds of family and friendship, and acquiring better knowledge of the world and themselves.
What does Rey teach children?

i'd rather see her in 12 years a slave getting whipped to death by Michael Fassbender
>HAHAHA George Lucas's Star Wars is just as much for children as Disne-
This, which is a shame cos otherwise it's got a lot of good stuff in it.

The beauty of the OT is that children can enjoy it just as much as adults.
I watched the originals as a child and it wasnt that great because I didnt understand what was going on and there wasnt spoonfed "comedy scenes" for children.
the OT wasn't for children -- its just that parents back then were so un-PC and laidback they took their children to see it
OP will never acknowledge this.
Is there a better scene in all of Star Wars than these?
>blue lightsabre

The OT was loaded with scenes where the moments created combined with the music was unforgettable.
