if you had a problem with this scene you literally do not understand star wars. Its "star wars" to the complete core. A nobody kid looking to the stars showing signs up hope.

How did he see the falcon in hyperspace routes? they're invisible

LITERALLY THE ONLY GOOD SCENE IN THE MOVIE

Fukken agree.

I mean, the ring itself is another $213123901284219048291 that they'll make in sales.

That's all this shit is at this point.

>people will wear those in public
Please stop.

NICE FUCKING CAR COMMERCIAL RIAN

>next jedi is white male
Reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

>star wars kids
this is prequel tier shit

Face the pain now. Before you have to face it in public.

>in tfa people act like the force and the jedi are bs
>in tlj enslaved child workers are playing with luke skywalker action figures

Welcome to our Disney future. It's all downhill from here.

At this point I'm just hoping the Obi-Wan standalone is dope, otherwise I give 0 shits about SW.

Scene made no sense in context however. This is the empire strikes back episode, it needs to end on a fucked up note.

What are you doing out there, son? It's after midnight.

why is he white

>in tfa people act like the force and the jedi are bs

Not at all. They acted as if they were myths. It was just a kid telling what he thought was a made up story.

There is no hope in the Age of the Mouse. Avert your eyes and weep in silence.

but their make believe depicts luke skywalker on crait...which happened in this movie, so why is tfa relevant?

This scene had more heart than anything Lucas has ever done.

the movies are literally indistinguishable from the car commercials at this point

it made no sense because it didnt copy a different movie? You are the one not making sense here. It also ended with almost the entire resistance dead. Did you see the movie or just look at the memes user?

>The Last Jedi
>Not the last Jedi
This is why I hate this scene

>cheap rip off of binary sunset with disney marketing a toy
2/10 made me reply

As pointless as it was to the plot, I quite liked the detour to the casino planet. It made the galaxy feel big

This scene made me feel the same way when Trump won on election night
After 8 long years of anti-white culture being fine it's okay to be white

>Blatant decoder ring ad

Even the ewoks were better than this shit.

I will buy these when available because I am autistic

so white boys will beg their parents for bullshit (that the parents will buy will little to no hesitation because saying "no" is too hard) and learn to associate happiness with consumerism.

Same. It could have been cut completely, but it felt so goddamn right and it was so goddamn entertaining that I can't say I hated it.

why not?

By itself the scene is good but it belongs at the end of episode 9 or 6, not 8

kids believe a lot easier. tfa defnitely made it clear people knew ABOUT luke and his adventures, so why is it unbelievable for kids to be playing out the fantasy

>remember the days when you are a kid and playing as a jedi and dreaming about the movies and fantasy
>starts crying

Well done Rian, well done.

Yeah, but this movie still shits on the fans, though. /s

>Luke
>a nobody

Nice pedopheliac hard dick imagery, you fucking hack. Real subtle. Show Disney you're here to play ball.
