Disney is trying to turn Star Wars into a Disney princess franchise. Can't you tell? They're marketing to way more little girls. They're putting in female protagonists whenever they can. They're making dolls and not action figures. And they're playing it as safe as possible. It's so obvious.

There's a pretty wide gulf between selling an expensive Darth vader costume every week (If that, as I've read that actual sales are pretty rare) and being able to consistently fill 50 beds for a 2-night LARP experience.
