Would you watch a new Austin Powers movie?

Would you watch a new Austin Powers movie?

No

no

I would, but I know it would be shit.

Nobody wants to work with Mike Meyers again anyway. Austin Powers is dead.

Not after the Love Guru, Mike Meyers please stay away from movies

after the last jedi, i can definitively say, i am done with cashins.

It can never ever happen. The public would be more receptive to a serious gritty action reboot starring a young handsome guy

yes

i grew up with the austin powers movies, although gold member was mediocre, so yeah I would give it a shot.

Goldmember was bad enough.

Yes.
I've been waiting since goldmember.

Just 1 more.

>Nobody wants to work with Mike Meyers again anyway
Why?

tfw unironically wanted a View to a Kill spoof.

no

No, they'd kill him off in the first 15 minutes and replace him with a black.

Because he's bipolar and crazy.

God no.

I haven't even seen the third one (which I heard was bad).

The first one was good, but even by the end of the second one it felt to me like the whole thing had pretty well had run its course.

source?

I would, I unironically liked the movies.

But in today's political climate it would never happen.

Expand user.

i heard he chose to semi retire because the love guru was dear to him and it would poorly received.

The third one was a huge dissapointmen

There should be a movie in the 2020 about people becoming nostalgic of the 90s including the original movie.

If that's true then he completely lost his mind already and should never involve himself in movies ever again because his sensibilities are completely out of tune with what is funny or entertaining.

I don't think I watched the third one, what should my opinion be?

YA BABY, YA

You shouldn't like it.

>the love guru was dear to him
Seriously source on this. I've never even seen the damn thing but I want to know if this is true.

Couldn't work and wouldn't make money.

The whole shtick was lampooning silly Bond tropes. They're gone. It would be embarrassing trying to lampoon Craig's Bond. There's enough materiral there for a really bad SNL skit. The character is done as much as I enjoyed it.

THATS A WOMAN BABY

How can you parody something that's already a joke?

>
the idea of the love guru being a passion project is more hilarious than the love guru itself

Third one isn't bad but it definitely isn't as good as the first two

Fuck you, Goldmember is pure kino

Watch it every times it's on the telly

...

only if it's parody of realistic bullshit that has happened after the austin powers movies

basically parodying the bourne films and all the bond films that happened after austin powers. the "realistic" type.

Only if they diversify its white-centric cast

If it's set in Britain again they won't even need to
