How did the first order get the resources to build this huge ship?

How did the first order get the resources to build this huge ship?

How is all of their shit larger than what the empire had?

They explained it in the film.

They exploited civilizations like Rose's, sold them into slavery, and bought the stuff from the 1% in Wallstreet.

why isn't the Pizza Dreadnought on there?

With enough robots, access to mineral-rich planets and asteroids and decent engineering, wouldn't be that difficult.

Because Disney felt it was necessary to recreate the "empire vs rebels" feel of the original series.

>literally one hyper drive ramming drunk tard could take care of all the ships in that pic alone

Lmao

Because Snoke rediscovered the Star Forge.

Just kidding, its because MOVIES IN CURRENT YEAR HAVE TO BE BIGGEERRR

because:
- big things look cool
- hubris

this thing is the radius of the Death Star. Let that sink in

a First Order star forge will be the Death Star II of Episode IX mark my words

>60km
what is this, attack on titan with spaceships?

There's no reason. The Disney board just had to make sure everything was bigger because they're bankrupt of good, original ideas.

...

>tfw Disney gets its half a billion dollars back entirely in memes

...

"Decent" engineering? It's the size of Los Angeles. It's effectively thousands of massive skyscrapers all joined side by side. Just the infrastructure needed to make it work is mind boggling. The plumbing, the power lines, food supply, it's insane.

>pink haired snowflake admiral destroys it and a bunch of others First Order fleet ships without any effort

Why resistance in original trilogy didn't just kamikaze all the time?

my sides are in endor

Empire had thousands of Star Destroyers across the galaxy

HA

Don't you know? Arms dealers are more powerful than puny factions like the First Order or the Republic or the rebels

why didn't the republic do anything to stop them?

Because the Republic doesn't have a standing army.

I don't know why you would expect a short movie like this to be able to explain the mechanics of a whole universe. It's not a video game that can devote endless hours to minute details and really draw you into the world.

...

Ram trick wouldn't have worked unless it was a wide ship instead of arrowheaded. If it looked like ANY OTHER IMPERIAL SHIP and the cruiser rammed it, Rey would've been dead in the throne room.

It goes further than that. Considering that lightspeed has been around for more than a thousand generations, this would be a standard military tactic. There should be ships sized weapons that are effectively a bomb strapped to a hyperdrive that can be launched at large fleets of ships, space stations or even planets considering how much damage that did. The Death Star or any of these planet killing weapons now seem not really a threat when you could take it out with something big enough going at lightspeed.

Because blah blah blah if they had an army it could lead to another dictatorship blah blah blah being peaceful is better. They also never thought of the First Order as a threat. No, seriously that's the reason. Leia and a few others saw the clear threat but for no reason other than needing to have the Republic be completely caught off guard, don't see it and completely dismiss her and the others. Also for some reason she fell out of favour in the Republic when it made public that Vader was her biological father even though she fucking sacrificed everything she had for the rebellion since she was in her teens and was more than willing to kill Vader regardless of him being her father. Even she didn't think he could be turned from the Dark side. It's so fucking dumb.

The republic was garbage and unproductive. It's explained in the books

Considering you can bypass the shield with lightspeed in Episode 7, why did Han need to do anything? Just ram the generator with lightspeed missiles

Look at the size of that thing...

>mfw that's no moon
