When is Slott being taken off of spider-man?

When is Slott being taken off of spider-man?

And who do you want to replace him?

Nick Spencer.

Joe Kelly.

Damn, that would actually be really fucking good.

Slott will only leave when he either dies, gets bored or says something bad about people of a certain ethnicity or sexual orientation.

Zeb Wells.

Give it to Joe Kelly. Let him build a strong foundation for the next long term writer, then give it to me. I burn the whole thing to the ground and salt the earth.

Or give it to what remains of the corpse of Steve Ditko, with Stan Lee as the master puppeteer pulling the strings. Weekend at Bernie's Style.

No one.
Lets kill Peter off and focus on Miles or whatever.

Kelly or Wells are good too.

Go away Bendis.

Bendis

Robbie Thomson.

You think Benis would recognize that others can do it better?

yes please

I know its a joke but fuck you for bringing me that nightmare scenario anyway.

Peter David. With Caselli on art preferably.

It's unbelievable that they're still refusing to kick him off yet for Legacy. Slott is all out of ideas, they NEED someone new to take over.

pad is dying soon tho

The Dream Team. SOON, Sup Forums. SOON.

Lol

ditko is alive, he just wants to live a quiet life

>PAD is going to jail for tax evasion soon tho

Dan Abnett with Howard Porter desu senpai

I'd honestly like to see Gerry Duggan takeover

Personally, I want Spencer on Captain Marvel, but Spidey's also good.

My vote is Robbie Thompson, as everything he's inherited from Slott has been made great due to his work.

This is the correct answer

>When is Slott being taken off of spider-man?

Not in your lifetime. Slott is going to have one of the longest tenures on Spider-Men to the point when there will be young kids and teenagers who grew up with his version of the character and will regard his run as classic

Porter is awful user

Duggan should take over all the Marvel Comics universe.
Lets clone him and put him in all the books, even America.

He's already written over a seventh of the Amazing run by the time 700 rolled around and that was nearly 4 years ago.

What issue did Peter originally say that phrase?

A team up of Dan and Joe would be amazing honestly.

> Slott is all out of ideas
Remember that 20 issue stretch between Superior Spider-man and Spider-verse?

I sure fucking don't. His run isn't even memorably bad anymore, it's just dull and forgettable.

That very same issue from the OP.

I'd be down for it.

The correct answer.

Rick Remender

He wrote a really good Peter during Axis. So I'd be down for it.

What the fuck happened to him? Where'd he go?

What characters he would have killed?

Got fed up with Marvel and left.

Never. I enjoy Slott's Spider-Man. I'm one of the many!

>What characters he would have killed?
Carlie Cooper.

>I enjoy Slott's Spider-Man.
Get a load of this casual filth.

Kek. I'd have love that.

Checked em.

Not that user, but Sloth has done a few things with Spider-Man that I really enjoyed, but he has done more that I have not enjoyed.

Give the title to a rotating team of Kelly, Thompson, Spencer and Conway.

At least nobody has nominated Kate Leth for the job.

>Give the title to a rotating team of Kelly, Thompson, Spencer and Conway.
This would be pretty good. I'd be all for that. Throw in Zeb Wells, too.

For the record, Chip Zdarsky's upcoming Spectacular book sounds awesome. Heard him talk about it at C2E2 this past weekend and his whole pitch sounds fantastic.

I can do without Peter Parker Agent of Hydra . . . . .

Jeff Parker

John Layman

Gail Simone

Warren Ellis

Hi Dan

>Warren Ellis

I don't think he wants to since he doesn't like the character in the first place.

1-At the heat death of the universe.

2- Almost abyobe would be preferable because even if they are awful their run would be not Slott and would probably not last.

Ellis hate-writing Spiderman would be brilliant.

Zeb Wells did really well on Avenging.
Another vote for Joe Kelly.
John Layman would rock, Simone would be readable, Zdarsky could be very very good.

Please keep spencer, hopeless, north etc away

He's continue through Legacy as well. He's never leaving

Someone needs to just assassinate the tubby bastard.

I just want a redeemed Black Cat and Frank Cho on art.

Dan Slott takes over your body user. There always has to be a Slott.

>Ellis hate-writing Spiderman would be brilliant.

You'd think that but I think it would just end up inane since he wouldn't be interested in it and then he'd lose interest in it and either bail or the book ends up delayed and he'd bail. Then Tucker Stone will have the eternal struggle of whether to be snarky about Ellis or praise Ellis while being snarky about Spider-Man.

I'd love to see how in hell would he manage to involve Apocalypse in a Spidey book.

Another Dan.

Gerry Conway?

>Ellis hate-writing Spiderman would be brilliant.

Remember Doctor Druid?

/thread

Renew your Vows is a masterpiece

Robbie Thompson is being groomed to take over

I try not to; a lot of Ellis' 90's work don't hold up well until Transmet and Wildstorm. Doom 2099 being a possible exception.

They don't care. If they did, they wouldn't have kept him around for all this time. As long as sales don't drop shockingly low, they won't bother looking for someone better.

Gerry Duggan.

I want Slott in Champions.

>I want Slott in Champions
>Wanting Slott to write any book

That's some shit taste right there.

Christopher Yost would be fucking awesome on Spidey.

Superior should have been the end of his run. A new writer should have taken over at Amazing Spider-Man Vol 3. I swear to god, it's just forgettable now..

>Young kids and teenagers
>Reading comics
LOL

His GLA and She-Hulk are pretty good. He just outstayed his welcome in Spider-Man greatly.
