Why aren't there a lot of GOOD Sup Forums games? So many shows have so much potential to be amazing as a video game, but so many suck and I don't know why they keep fucking it up.
Gravity Falls could of made a great video game, but it was okay at best when they finally made one.
SpongeBob is truly the champion when it comes to Sup Forums games.
>Why aren't there a lot of GOOD Sup Forums games? I can think of two reasons.
1. Some companies just want to make a quick buck without much effort. 2. Rushed development so they don't miss the hype.

Because most Sup Forums merchandise exists to market the source material. The developers don't think it's worth it to put effort into something people will buy on brand name alone. Even BFBB wasn't as good as everyone on here says. It was just moderately better than the usual cash grab entries that came before it.

>SpongeBob is truly the champion when it comes to Sup Forums games.
Battle for Bikini Bottom is the only truly good SB game, though
The top 5 Sup Forums-related games are as follows:
BFBB Arkham City Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction Bugs Bunny: Lost in Time The Simpsons Arcade
Hudson Cook
I hope no one says Madagascar was mediocre. That was the best game on Gamecube
Michael Lewis
Spiderman 2

I loved Battle for Bikini Bottom, Creature from the Krusty Krab, and Truth or Square (DS version)

You were born too late for the golden era of Sup Forums based games. When actual big game developing studios were in charge of making Sup Forums based games. youtube.com/watch?v=lt9aKgVKNww

Pretty much. BFBB is a solid enough game during a period where the concept of middleware was still alive and well. BFBB doesn't do much to stand out during the same period where mix and match 3D platformers were common outside of the Spongebob theme. It also hasn't aged well even graphically, especially for a game so simplistically cartoon.
As good as BFBB is, it's what should be considered an average game. It's not championing anything unique and it's not pushing boundaries. But it's not a broken mess and it plays exactly like it should.
I'd argue that the 5 best are:
DuckTales SP: Stick of Truth Spider-Man 2 Arkham Asylum And at least one of the Marvel/Capcom fighters
Oliver Carter
Do you love Madagascar though?

Seriously though, can you think of a game with better controls? At least a platformer? I thought it played better than SM64. It doesn't get much better than that.

This should have had sequels, one of the only good 2D platformers on the PS2
