I don't get it.

the E's are lined up vertically

it's art

RVGEEEN

>RVGEEEN

It's a code. Solve it and you get to have sex with Eva Green.

>Movie within a movie

It's like a regular movie, but twice as deep.

It is a beautiful piece dealing with autistic rage.

REEEvenge!

the absolute state of """"""art"""""""

Iff you look at it backwards, you get EG NEV ER

So, EG Never

revenge can be art too

It's one of Mel Gibson's minimalist art pieces. The present letters are a reduction of "You're an oven dodger" into the most foundational characters, which reveal a hidden meaning.

It means REYLO you dumb fuck. Have you been living in a cave under a fucking rock?

This was so on the nose, ruined the entire movie

Why though

When people are told to pick a profession based on want rather than their skill

This is the outcome, we get so called """artists""". And people actually fall for it. Just the other day some idiot said *pic related* was not only good but the best movie of the year.. just killyourselves. Go to starbucks and ask of a double bleach mochalatte and kys

if you didn't get this the moment you saw the image, I'm sorry, you are too dumb for modern art.

>Movie is about revenge
>Have the main character admire a piece of artwork with huge REVENGE on it during the middle of the movie

Try being subtle next time

Only half of it is.

>REVENGE
>REEEE

...

The book and standing her up was his revenge for her breaking up with him.

Eva Green is an anagram for A Revenge

Chuck's Revenge?

What?

I didn't get that at all

Beyond the obvious theme of revenge in the film I had trouble reading deeper in to the art as well.

She asks Jena Malone's character where the painting came from and Jena Malone reminds her that Amy Adams' character bought it.

Feelings of revenge were now starting to rise to the surface after reading the manuscript and evoking those emotions she felt with her first husband.

I took that as her realization that she wanted revenge on her current husband for steering her away from Jake G. for all the wrong reasons, which is why she schedules that date the Jake stands her up at.

Maybe.
