Well that was something. who else loved it?

well that was something. who else loved it?

ive noticed its got the same type of surrealist dialogue as his other movie the lobster, is the surreal dialogue a common thing in all his movies?

I really enjoyed it and definitely have a spot for it in my top 5 of the year. Yes it is common in all his movies. Dogtooth and Alps are worth watching. I think Deer is his best but Alps is close behind.

He shouldnt have died at the end

I liked it but not as much as I did The Lobster. It's like a 7/10 film whereas The Lobster is a 9/10.

Can I see it online yet? It never played at any theaters near me.

>Can I see it online yet
it's been online for a week.

>Yes it is common in all his movies
thats kinda disappointing. i felt like it worked in the lobster because it was a black comedy and it works here because of the surrealism, but if its just a one trick he always pulls iunno.

...

not for me, thanks.
but Im very critical, Ive recommend maybe 2 movies this year.

but all of his movies are surreal. do you even know what Dogtooth and Alps are about?

Didn't notice this was from Lobsterfag. Now I'm def watching this.

Go watch some of his interviews, they’re pretty interesting. He claims you can never make a movie truly immersive so that it’s pointless to try and as such he is fine with making the actors say the lines in that kind of way.

What are your 2 movies?

>inb4 Justice League and The Last Jedi

lost city of z and silence

>those are both 2016 films
Was 2017 really that bad for you?

>>those are both 2016 films
Lost City of Z came out in my country in 2017.

lost city of z only released in festivals last year and silence only released 1st January but yeah kinda agree with that one.
Dunkirk was good I guess
