emphasis on the "gon" lol

He was a good friend

He'd definitely be the best Jedi to get high with.

I liked him in the Phantom Menace, he wasn't a boring asshole like Mace Dindu and other stone-faced jedi
Naturally, braindead fans and EU writers came up with a reason why he's not boring
>Hurr durr living force

...

>irish guy gets green saber
>black guy gets purple saber

what did george mean by this

No, he was SUPER boring

I like the elbow backfist combo you did on darth maul

George Lucas has always been an inclusive and socially-conscious director.

underrated

>Say something nice about him.

>Imagining episode 1 with any other actor playing Qui Gon
>Suddenly realize in sheer terror that without Liam Neeson TPM would have been so much fucking worse.

If he didn't go off book then no wars would have happened. Was he Plagueis

>Created at least half of the prequels big bads

Stupid cunt. He was not missed

youtube.com/watch?v=nIrOYb0PkJ8

He stacks mad paper. He had 20G's in Republic Credits just for walking around money.

>fights hard to train boy who was deemed far too old by the council
>boy turns out to be evil incarnate and practically destroys Jedi order

why do people like him again?

Do Jedis get a salary? Who finances the Jedi order anyway? I'm sure it's explained in some of the thousands of books and shows.

I like how he caused everything indirectly but is ultimately but a small piece on the board. I would love to see him again.

He discovered the ability to become Force ghosts

It makes me really sad that he died so soon, but i dont actually see any way the story could be told without him getting killed when he did

Does that mean his death and character arc was well written? I just want more of him

...

he always had the best bud

How would disney have handled watto?

Qui-Gon was also going to go against the Jedi code and return to tatooine to save Anakin's mom and avoid the whole Vader situation, which Obi-Wan apparently just forgot about.

He is... Stoic...

>Le Phantom Menace wuz bad meem

I agree, fellow Reddit faggot.

God dammit qui gon was such a fucking bro

He's pretty based. I'd want to learn under him instead of the other plebs.

Not that user, but you can't seriously tell me TPM is good

why didn't Anakin go save his mother earlier lol? The whole character is so fucking stupidly handled.

he's played by Liam Neeson

I think the explanation is that The Jedi council were being real dicks about it saying it would mess up Anakin's training or whatever, and Obi-Wan was a new master and not a rebel like Qui-Gon so he kind of just went along with it.

idiot

dude nice I watched the red letter media review too

youtube.com/watch?v=_Z29OVZLbZk
He funny man.

fpbp

Seriously why does it not have 40 meme replies, people on reddit need to see them in the screenshot to know its funny

>Wanting to learn under to first guy to die

Its like you want to fail

He deserves a spin-off movie more that Han (Solo), or Obi-Wan, to be honest.

I just like his name, I think it sounds dope.

>Who finances the Jedi order anyway?
the jews

>HURR DURR AT LEAST HE TRIED TO MAKE SOMETHING NEW WITH THE ORDER AND DTEER IT INTO BOLD DIRECTION
Seriously though, if jedi didn't even try to train the boy, then sith will be more than glad to. It was the responsibility of the order.

I'm watching TPM's fight (I can't believe that it only last 5min, Ithought it was longer), and in several occasions Maul could've kill Qui-Gon but he didn't. Like in 1:09, for example, that was a dumb move.

youtube.com/watch?v=Qp91xlsaKSo

Qui-Gon was using the force to keep Mauls lightsaber pressed against his chest, that's why he kicked.

He was in a giant cult that ran every aspect of his life?

>first guy to die
And then the padawan he trained BTFO Maul.

His wife was a tasty quim.

Like an Evian Bottle

this movie was surprisingly enjoyable

>Mystical nepotistic order
>It's an open secret they are the ones who really run the government
>Any criticism of them is brushed off as you just being ignorant and not understanding their religion
>As soon as they're called on their bullshit they start screaming about how they are the chosen ones and start calling it a "Purge"

...

based underrated poster

>tfw Qui-Gon had to deal with Jar-Jar

>Le Phantom Menace wuz good meem

Useless fucking post

and he was clearly shown as a rash teenager who questioned everything.
