Comics that are (somehow) still alive

Dear me, updating after over a year break? And with a single page?

Jesus Christ. I'd given up.

I swear a small puff of dust came out of my feed when it updated.

sweet

It's actually been like 3 years, no?

Didn't this webcomic do Asari like 6 years before Mass Effect?

Last page was released 16 October 2016.

Space Elves are hardly new to scifi fantasy.

There's never been a truly epic hiatus, as far as I'm aware, but this current battle started like a year ago

this is somehow still a thing

Blue, telepathic, female only space elves are more rare.
It's true that the artist aknowledges that the Master of Orion Elerians were an inspiration. They clearly were for Mass Effect too.

I was sure that it was dead

Spiral a cute.

It's 90% percent female. Because more babies counterbalance the combat losses for a warrior race, apparently.
And their will be a male when they reach the planet.

...

Jesus, wasn't patronbux supposed to speed this shit up? I guess it did, in a relative manner.

It's been so long, I was actually wondering if I missed a page because I didn't recall the set up to this one. I turns out I had too, meaning I lost track of this sometime around an actual year ago.

...

gone with the blastwave ended.
romantically apocalyptic is the one that's still ongoing

That came out last month, unles there's something i don't know.

Jeez. Does she change outfit every page?
Wtf happened to QT Jap Robo waifu Kimiko? Why is the main character now a vaguely Simian UFC welterweight male fighter?

The writing was never great but at least the art of the start if dark science was good. I liked the Rapture vibe and Kimiko was cute.

Pic related. Sigh...

I have never met a single person, IRL or online, who still consistently buys and reads Savage Dragon.

I've seen the odd scan/screenshot of something stupidly edgy going on, but hardly anyone actually reads it anymore.

Jesus Christ she doesn't even look like the same character anymore.

Considering that Outsider is Master of Orion: the Comic, acknowledging that Elerians were an inspiration kind of buries the lede.

>Wtf happened to QT Jap Robo waifu Kimiko?
She went full buff cyborg at some point.

>time between updates is so large you have to re-read the whole thing whenever a new page pops up because you forgot everything

She looked different before she went full Ghost in the Shell. Her hairstyle completely changed during the evening where she was attacked by that dude with the electric rod even though there was no way she could have gotten a haircut in that time.

A natural result of taking forever to draw shit.

Went from previous pic to pic related in one evening in-universe.

Does this man actually update his webcomic from his space shuttle circling an event horizon? There has to be some explanation to account for the time dilation.

I think he's been working on a video game.

Diaz watched Ghost in the Shell once and took the "the body doesn't matter, just the mind/spirit" to ridiculous levels.

Sort of missed the point of the over arching them there too. The Ghost and the Body may separate, but they're hardly independent. The whole character arc of the Major and over several side characters and antagonists was about how the form and the spirit influenced each other. You had the exgirlfriend who wanted to become her boyfriend, the government agent who kept his disfigured face because he believed it made him a main character, and there was the Major, of course. Who was explicitly questioned about why she kept a female chassis as a full prosthetic, and never really answered though implications were made.

This is all from the show, though. Been too long since I saw the movie adaptation.

how the fuck does one even follow a story which progresses at less than one word per week? which updates so infrequently that remembering anything about the comic from one page to the next is basically impossible? fucking Kazerad is made to look industrious by comparison.

>he has a patreon

hahahahahahaahahahahahahahahahahahahahahhahahaha

>I think he's been working on a video game.

Pffft, yeah. The same way your 13-year-old self was "working on a video game" in the back of your mind.

If this comic was a person, it would almost be old enough to vote, and it only has how many pages?

I bet this all we are going to see this year.

>world's slowest webcomic creator working on a 4x game

Poetry.

Are they also mostly into chicks too?

Everything that touches this comic moves slow.

Too be fair, it was started fairly late on a Sunday night.

And also is a lesser known webcomic.
