Aurra was better

First for the most beautiful imperial

Dark greetings!

What is she, /swco/?

Better at being the worst you mean.

This idea is going places

Second (not second at all) for the most beautiful rebel

wrong image senpai

Copypasting it because really curious.

>Considering he was trying to be a Jedi, yes. He could go and have one-nighters, but marriage is an absolute no-no.
Why? He was his own man, there was no Council standing over him, waggling their finger in disapproval. Marriage and being a Jedi are not mutually excluding. In fact, many Jedi in NJO got married at some point. Or had a long-term relationship.

The Leia thing... In EU she did dropped out of Luke's Academy, because it interfered with her political career, but she still got throught the basics. At her best she was on the same level of mastery as Luke was in E6I. It was only natural: if you got talents in the Force, why not develop them?

OK so I'm going to contact an advertisement agency but it wants a company name.

Any suggestions?

Where were you when Rian redeemed the ST?

/swco/ obviously

Great, I'm now imagining a topless Ahsoka fighting the inquisitors back in season 2.

What would you want to see in KOTOR 3?

Rook Shipping Co.

I'll probably be in the same theater I was in when JJ got it off to a good start.

OK email sent, I told them I want a billboard near Golden Gate National Recreation Area, Presidio of San Francisco. I'll get back to you guys once I get more information.

You can thank me later user.

I love that shot.
It instantly reminded me of this one from the swtor trailer. Anyone else?

godspeed user

You're doing the Ashla's work user.

A microtransaction-free game?

Now you mention it had been reminding me of something, guess I was thinking of that trailer
Still, its interesting. I wonder how far along in her training that shot is

Grey Jedi

Did Force ghost stuck aroun in nuCanon? Because they faded away in EU.

Besides, I thought, that the whole point of the old-school Jedi was that they were stuck-up rigid assholes? Both Kenobi and Yoda realised it after the Jedi Purge.
Luke's Jedi have always been more liberal. And it did them good.

Again, mind it, that were talking about Legends here. Does anybody even have a slightest idea at this point, how Luke rolled his Acdemy in the Canon?

Quick - fill in the following blank:

>I want to ____ Ahsoka

MARRY

I want to _hug Ahsoka so hard.

erase

Shove rusty spoons my eyes whenever we see

3degy9me

More like Gay Jedi.

>I want to hang out with Barriss by using Ahsoka

Lose my spaghetti in front of her so she'll never talk to me again

That was KOTOR 1

massage

From the sounds of it Luke didn't really have an Academy, he had students who followed him around the galaxy digging up ancient Jedi Temples in search of lost lore. I wouldn't be surprised if he was searching for the First Temple all along, in a bid to discover how the Jedi got started so he could understand how to start himself

I hope a future anthology film revolves around a starfighter squadron. Rebel or Imperial, either would be the tits.

What an absolute fuck up. In the EU he took back Coruscant and everything. Like I get why the Rebellion didn't take back Coruscant in canon since realistically it would be extremely complicated but fuck realism, this is a series of space wizards who hang out with giant dog people. Why can't anything in canon just be fun without being too autistic and having a bunch of realist thought and criticism going into it?

Something about Luke not being a Jedi Grand Master in Coruscant's Jedi Temple really fucks with me. Like if you watch the first 6 movies that would be the logical conclusion you would think Luke's story would end at but nope.

Fuck JJ.

OK but one of them has to be black.

Butthurt EU fag detected

Get out of the thread

Deal

I wish Luke's order had actually worked. Bothers me that the EU is all dark and shit now we have Luke in a self imposed exile in the nucanon.

I enjoy canon but you have to admit that minus Vong the EU did the post ROTJ era much better. At the least the main characters didn't have everything they EVER tried to work towards thrown into the garbage.

...

jessika pava look like boomer from battlestar galactica

>In the EU he took back Coruscant and everything.
Did he? I thought, it was the New Republic operation, with no Jedi involvement. I remember it from Rogue Squadron books.

>implying canon post ROTJ is good
lol

>He enjoys Luke being a fucking failure

Impressive, I reserve such simple ideas for reddit.

Well, you don't sound butthurt at all!

>At the least the main characters didn't have everything they EVER tried to work towards thrown into the garbage.
that happened in basically every single post rotj piece of the EU though, multiple times, where have you been? TFA for all its myriad and odious flaws, isn't anywhere near as bad as that

>Did Force ghost stuck aroun in nuCanon?

Everything points to Force ghosts being a permanent thing. They likely won't fade away because it's confirmed they exist outside of time.

>Besides, I thought, that the whole point of the old-school Jedi was that they were stuck-up rigid assholes?
Yes, but as far as the Jedi Code itself goes there's nothing wrong with it. What went wrong with them was that they got complacent and forgot their purpose, especially with the war.
>Luke's Jedi have always been more liberal. And it did them good.
Because the writers inserted what they wanted to happen and didn't understand the Jedi Order.

>Again, mind it, that were talking about Legends here.
I thought we were talking about canon, mostly.

>Does anybody even have a slightest idea at this point, how Luke rolled his Acdemy in the Canon?
Unfortunately no, other than that he had a temple, not an academy.

eat my asshole

Have you read anything from the post-RotJ Canon?

I'm not defending JJ blowing up the Not!Coruscant for shits and giggles here, it's just that there are very good continuity-friendly reasons why the NR hasn't made Coruscant its capital.

As for Luke, we know fuck all about what he was doing after Endor. But if you really think he'd go right back and rebuild the old Jedi Order right down in all its "glory", then you've missed the point Lucas was trying to make throughout the whole prequel era.

I hate a lot of the dark, gritty no hope of post Return of the Jedi EU stuff but I also hate Luke in TFA.

Is this the /swco/ version of Barneyfag?

>but you have to admit that minus Vong the EU did the post ROTJ era much better.

Not really. Post RoTJ era EU was absolutely terrible, even when you exclude the Vong. I may not look highly upon TFA, but I'd rather take that than anything of the post RoTJ EU anytime.

Lol, definitely not
>Jedi Academy series
>Children of the Jedi
>Truce at Bakura
>The Crystal Star
>Darksaber
I could go on. Most of the old EU was trash, everybody selectively remembers the Corellian trilogy and the Rogue Squadron series and acts like it was all amazing

>minus the Vong
Nope. Include them. It was all fantastic. The NJO was god tier. Post-RotJ EU was 10/10 material across the board.

So Gamestop's Funko Pops for Force Friday partially leaked, and look at the bottom..

>Ep 8 Victor and Throne
>Ep. 8 GUARDS OF EVIL

WHAT?

Maybe after seeing just the original movies, but after seeing the prequels I can't see the idea of just rebuilding the Jedi Order in the Grand Temple as anything other than just a wilful repetition of the Jedi's historic failure
Three whole movies dedicated to showing the Jedi living in a literal Force-damned ivory tower kind of soured me on the idea of the Jedi coming back in all their 'glory', and I have a lot more respect for a Luke that recognized those failings (especially given he's the literal walking product of them) and worked to try and over come them.

how you could possibly say this with the knowledge of Mara Jade's death, Jacen Solo's fall, the rise of the Krayt Empire and Cade "Fuck You Grandpa I'll Smoke as Much Weed as I want" Skywalker (to name just a few) truly boggles the mind

forgot my pic

>guards of fucking evil

>GUARDS OF EVIL
Dark Greetings

Dark Greetings!

I refuse to believe even the most die-hard fan of the expanded universe could be this mendacious.

what is Barneyfag?

>Victor and Throne
What the fuck? Is Victor the name of whoever Del Toro is playing maybe?
The Guards of Evil are pretty easy, those are probably those cool Roman esque guards that are meant to be protecting Snoke according to the leaks

WHO IS RIGHT?
I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO BELIEVE ANYMORE

wait, is it actually a jedi prince thing? because i wasn't making it up

look at

Snoke's Ninja Turtles. Royal Guards armed with shuriken and nunchucks. Making Star Wars leaked them a little while ago.

>Vador

Now that that's out of the way, you think it's too soon for a full on reveal of non-projection Snoke? I mean, not unless those guards are related to Victor or something

A sad, pathetic man who spergs out anytime horse show is posted and responds with the same images and mostly similar responses every time.

Snoke in golden robe will be revealed as soon as they want to show that TLJ isn't an ESB rehash

so next trailer?

Post RotJ era EU drug on for far too long. Half of what happened in there was wholly unnecessary. As contraversial as their execution was, the Yuuzhan Vong was the only real thing of any significance. The Swarm War was literally what, Jacen's maneuvering was frustratingly ridiculous, and the lost tribe of the Sith featuring Abeloth was... I dunno.

The entirety of the Post-RotJ EU was the New Republic dying and coming back as something else and the Jedi constantly getting shit on.

Read some of it and make up your own damn mind.

Sometimes I love hanging out around here, because we may have some truly insightful conversations.

Sometimes it's nothing but shitposting and blind regurgitation of popular opinions as far as the eye can see.

>E8 Cool Beta

>10/10 material across the board.
So you're saying shit like the Sun Crusher is 100% great? This is what you're saying.

>there are four guards

>there are four ninja turtles

LOL RIAN

disneyfags GET OUT, GET OUT NOMIE

REEEEEEEEEEE

>there are four lights

Yes, absolutely. Far better than the Starkiller which literally is a ripoff combination of it and the Star Forge in the form of LMAO 100 TIMES BIGGER DEATH STAR

I can't wait for people to see Willy Wonka's Space Starbucks and complain all over YouTube that it "doesn't feel like Star Wars" and that the series is taking a dive again the second it moves from the OT iconography.

Because, for all the complaining we see about TFA now, that will happen. Such is the nature of the internet.

The thing is I'm relatively new to canon, so I'm still catching up with that.
And so far based on what I've seen on /swco/ the EU is either the best thing that happened to planet earth, or it's the worst crime against a human kind since the holocaust.
So I kinda don't know what to expect.

>Golden Bathrobe Snoke confirmed
>ninja turtle guards confirmed
>evil BB-8's confirmed
>sea monster battle confirmed
>casino horse race speeder chase confirmed

TLJ is looking like certified KINO boys

Just look into what interests you, there's so much that you're bound to find something you like.

Also the declaration of the New Jedi Order at the end of the NJO series went absolutely nowhere. They could have done a new series based around what Luke's Jedi would become, rather than continue to sink the galaxy into darkness with more Sith. At least based Rian seems to be heading that way.

>It's time for the Jedi to end
What did Luke mean by this?

The EU was great. The current canon material pales in comparison almost universally because it is neutered and soulless, but the only way I know that is because I have the context of older material to compare it with. The people praising the new stuff and demonizing the old are people who are clearly too young to know any better and never read the EU. He's right though, you should check it out for yourself and form your own opinions.

>Starkiller
>The logical conclusion of the Death Star as a nuclear weapon metaphor
>Anything at all like the OP bullshit that is the Sun Crusher
Just because you don't like the form its delivered in, you can't deny Starkiller makes infinitely more thematic sense within Star Wars than 90% of the similarly bullshit superweapons scattered throughout Star Wars

Most of it is just tribalism.

They actually call the Starkiller a "sun crusher" in the TFA Artbook. I guess somebody must have read the EU (Doug Chiang we know drew a lot of the first edition of Essential Guide to Vehicles and Vessels that includes the Sun Crusher).

>tfw Star Forge will never be canon again

What would KOTOR be like it it was made by modern Bioware?

Nope, That's wrong actually. The ultimate goal of scientific progress is to make things smaller and more versatile, without compromising power. The Suncrusher, the Darksaber, and The Eclipse accomplish this. The Starkiller makes zero sense.

just looked up the Sun Crusher, Starkiller not so bad.

When will we finally start getting some not shit Star Wars vidya?
