Has Netflix made anything that isn't dogshit? Mindhunter was pretty good, but why are most originals so bad?

I'm four episodes into Mindhunter and fear no other killer is going to be as interesting as Kemper.
Narcos
HoC S1
The Crown is kino
Maybe. But the other ones offer their own personality that differ a lot. Keep going.
bright
Season 2 of Bojack Horseman
BRIGHT
do co productions count?
Season 1 of Stranger Things was really good.
In my opinion, Netflix has created the following good original series:
The OA
Sense8
Stranger Things (season 1)
The Crown
Ozark
Mindhunter
The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt
GLOW
Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp
Wet Hot American Summer: Ten Years Later
Godless
Trailer Park Boys Out of the Park: USA
F is for Family
Voltron: Legendary Defender
And of course some of the Marvel co-productions were good:
Daredevil (both seasons)
Jessica Jones
Punisher
And the following good original films:
Spectral
Bright
Blame!
Spectral and Blight were awesome for what they were.
Is Bright really worth watching?
Given the reviews, I haven't bothered with it.
check out dark and sense8. the trailer park boys stuff they did is pretty good too
i dont think its a netflix original per se but they bought the distribution rights for "beasts of no nation"
Yes it is phenomenal.
Stop reading reviews in order to form an opinion or qualify your own interest in a film.
If you want to see it, see it. Read reviews after you've seen a film, not before. Don't be a pleb.
Added Dark to my watchlist, didn't find Beasts of No Nation that great, was disappointed given Fukunaga's work on True Detective.
American Vandal is God-tier.
Yeah I usually don't, but seeing it get universally panned made me lose interest.
I'll check it out tonight, thanks man.
GLOW is so boring.
>pay for netflix
>start using it
>find that 90% of the shows that one would expect to be on it aren't on it because of petty licensing deals
>stop paying for netflix
>pirate instead
Under the Arctic Sky is a good doc
I liked GLOW
Disagree.
>The ball hairs
Beasts of No Nation are great, I Netflix financed it
Dark. You have to try very hard to keep up with it though.
It was better than anything Amazon has made.
Bright was okay.
Their decision to fund Black Mirror is reason enough to subscribe.
it's okay, definitely watchable, but it certainly isn't phenomenal like the other faggot said. just a straightforward LA buddy cop movie that's straight out of 90s with proportionate amount of will smith quips. honestly it's a marvel movie for people who say they hate marvel movies despite not having missed a single marvel movie yet. if that's you then you'll love it.
but it's not bad. interesting premise and special effects were actually great. i'd watch a sequel to be honest.
You’re right. Skip to the last episode
this.

>The OA
OPINION DISCARDED
Literal cringe: the post.
kys faggot.
Oh wow, we disagree about one thing. I like one show that you don't like, therefore all my other picks are shit? Well you're stupid, pal.
absolute fucking contrived bullshit
>the autist school shooter dancing
your argument is invalid
t. Sup Forums poster who saw a 30 second clip
don't you have some rape charges to attend to, landis?
>t. Sup Forums poster who saw a 30 second clip
No it is YOUR argument which is invalid, sir.
>The OA
Stopped reading, retard. Go troll somewhere else.
>Literal cringe: the post.
The OA is was really good but i am madly in love with Brit Marling
The Crown is great except the season 2 portrayal of JFK as Peter Griffin.
Narcos is high quality, like a serialized Sicario in the 80's and early 90's
Daredevil and the Punisher.
Ozark is good too
It is definitely a cop buddies movie from the 80s or 90s, with a crappy plot that exists only to allow them to shoot everyone and blow everything up. It is very good at doing that, and nothing else.
Violence is stopped through the power of interpretive dance.
>school shooter shows up
>some retards start performing an interpretive dance
>the school janitor goes "fuck this" and actually stops the fucking school shooter
your mother's egg should not have merged with your father's sperm, please correct this irregularity
>Phenomenal
It's below average at most. Interesting concept which was executed terribly.
Bloodlines
House of Cards (first two seasons)
Bojack Horseman
Daredevil
Stranger Things
13 Reasons Why
Narcos
Dark
So you're saying I should not have been born because a TV show ended the way it did? That's weird and a bit excessive.
>So you're saying I should not have been born
Close.
the netflix trailer park boys is good compared to netflix stuff but bad compared to the old tpb
this, watching it rn
>has Netflix made anything that isn't dogshit?
>mindhunter was pretty good
You're a fucking retard mate
>Sup Forums phonefag
fuck off cancer
Narcos
Dark
Ozark
American Vandal
Bloodline
Master of None
Beasts of No Nation
i liked every season of bojack desu
i have not watched many of them but I did like stranger things
That Dustin kid steals my focus with every fucking scene he's in. He's 15 but looks 10 because of his weird bone shit and between the speech impediment and chimp grin, fuck, I can't stop looking at the little dork long enough to get absorbed in the show.
>House Of Cards
based on a British tv show
>Mindhunter
>13 Reasons Why
>Beasts of No Nation
based on a book
>Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp
>Wet Hot American Summer: Ten Years Later
based on a movie
>Trailer Park Boys Out of the Park: USA
>Black Mirror
not netflix original
>Voltron: Legendary Defender
reboot
>Daredevil (both seasons)
>Jessica Jones
>Punisher
based on comics
The rest? Narcos is based off real events, same with The Crown. Netflix "original" list is pretty small. It's even smaller if you stop counting obvious rip-offs like stranger things.
accurate. but the kid irl is pretty cool though
We all know that Hemlock Grove was the true star of netflix.
Bojack Mememan
The Ranch
Stranger Things
F is for Family
A few of their standup specials
This
geralds game was ok. one of the few stephen king adaptations that sticks pretty close to the novel
