Tweety and Porky do. Everyone else is eh.

Why are they copying the opening of Dragon Maid?

What's this?

>Tweety with big anime girl eyes! How cute! Kawaii desu senpai!

...

It's like they tried to remake the ugly first versions of them but somehow ended making them even uglier

Aside from Tweety and Porky, these designs are fine.

>Foghorn was made into a small silhouette in the background
>They probably hid him on purpose

theres nothing wrong with this design

...

I share the sentiment that most of these are just meh besides Porky and Tweety.
This is disgusting however.

bugs got an ass going on there

Read the filename, it's a retooled Wabbit.

Same thing I saw when I scrolled down.

Oh Lord, they turned Tweetie into an anime character and Porky into one of those propaganda cartoons about bourgeoise capitalist pigs, who the hell approved this low-effort shit?

Wabbit with a new name

It's old timey looking!
If Mickey can do a retro designs reboot, so can Bugs, yeah?

Just bring back Looney Tunes Show, God damn it.

The slapstick is weak as fuck

If people didn't vehemently hate the Looney Tunes show for being different we wouldn't have the inferior wabbit show.

Looney tunes show, for all its faults, still got most of the characters right. But wabbit was like weaponized dull. Also that stupid OC squirrel is clearly still around.

Is it a new reboot or something?

The Looney Tunes Show is still shit no matter how you put it.

Why can't they just let the property die a respectable death? Why can't they just develop a brand new property?

Why does it have to be as inoffensive as possible to a mass audience? Why can't the design be funny and engaging?

Why?

Bugs and Daffy look closer to their 1940s selves than ever.

Fuck off, Benthelooney. Go fap to poorly drawn Puffy AmiYumi porn

Cal arts is strong on this one.

That'd be like making Goofy old

Like his very first appearence as Dippy Dawg

Seems like it.
Up until now Wabbit had been a fairly minimal, using mostly new characters and Bugs, with the other Looney Tunes only occasionally showing up.

I don't want to watch the Looney Tunes engage in everyday mundane activities. I want to see something exciting and humorous actually happen. Fuck you.

The Looney Tunes show was doomed from the start. It should have been a wholly new thing, without using classic characters. If they had done that, it would have fared better.

Its a mixture of Calarts and Chuck Jones.

>jones
Clampett nigger

>Chuck Jones

I don't think you know what you're talking about

It would've crashed and burned faster without the brand recognition

Donald looks nothing like his original design so there's that.

It wasn't all mundane. A lot of the episodes had the characters ending up in absurd situations.

The show did manage to get 52 episodes, that's better than some other shows get these days.

>some
That still doesn't make up for the majority. It can't be looney sometimes.

I'd call this episode prophetic, but it really is inevitable.

>Gotta hop back
>To the outback
> Kangaroo Jack

It feels kinda weird seeing Daffy return to his original self after so many decades. Guess that's a good indication that they have no intention of bringing Yoyo (I believe that's the name of the Dodo) back. And yeah, the slapstick isn't that great. Is Gumball the best slapstick cartoon to be released in recent years?

Guess I should be thankful that they didn't give the Looney Tunes the Tom and Jerry treatment and turned the show into a 2009 internet flash show. Or the Scooby Doo treatment and turned the characters into family guy rejects. Hope this flash cartoon era is over soon.

>Chuck Jones.

Bugs is passable, but Tweety is an abomination.

It did hit me till I started typing this, but is that meant to be Porky? Oh please tell me that's an OC, that being Porky is so much worse than it being an OC.

Old Porky was fat as fug

>Looks smelly
>Looks mentally stupid
>Looks unclean
>Wears clothes that don't fit him
>Has a beerbelly

So they made Goofy into an alcoholic. That's just perfect.

Also, yes that's Porky Pig

>tfw they didn't fuck up my favourite Looney Tunes character design
Feels good.

Still better than that fucking Seinfeld parody

Yeah, but come on, no one case about Porky from 35, or even from 39. The 1940's and 50's Porky is the one everyone knows.

Going back to the roots doesn't work when a newer version has become the one everyone thinks of. It's like DC ditching Hal and all the other Lanterns to only have books that use Alan Scott, or if Marvel decided to bring back the OG X-men team.

as long as they get rid of this abomination I'm okay with a new new new+ looney tunes show

>Looney Tunes Show died for this

Fucking awful. Daily reminder this was the ULTIMATE Daffy

m.youtube.com/watch?v=T8FroDwIhfw

Gumball slapstick isn't good at all. Gumball barely is a real toon show. Most of its episodes are generic sitcom shit and car chases

That's not Daffy, that's Duck Dodgers

>Daffy is a psycho from his solo episodes, instead of a coniving arrogant asshole.
Did we ever actually see that specific iteration of him interact with Bugs in the old days?

Looney Tunes Show died because Cartoon Network never renews any Warner Brothers Animation series beyond 52 episodes. Not unless it's a ratings juggernaut on the level of Teen Titan Go, anyway.

They could have switched the lineup with their rough Tiny Toon counterparts for the most part and it would have worked about as well.

I'm glad

...

As long as the show is better than Wabbit, the designs with grow

Wabbit was poorly executed, it made Looney Tunes Show look better than it is

That expression is fine because Foghorn is smug half the time

It fits

Is that God of Chaos Mode Daffy? That looks great!

at least Elmer and Bugs met each other again, which LTS failed to do, don't care just how shitty the show is

That sort of works, I guess. I can definitely see Buster growing up to to be an independently wealthy inventor and Plucky growing up to be a slacker mooch.

I can't really see Montana Max ever living in a suburb though.

Well, I never said that is was good at slapstick but since the genre is pretty much dead and everyone who tries to make slapstick fails at it, I would say Gumball is the best we have at the moment. You're free to correct me. There might be one show that I have completely glossed over.

Its not too bad. Definitely wish there was more weight and speed to the slapstick.

>That face

LITERALLY ME

Original Porky was a child, not an adult

Yeah, but they recast Elmer from Billy West to Jeff Bergman, and Bergman's Elmer is way, WAY worse.

Wander Over Yonder had a lot of slapstick

>I know nothing about the new scooby doo aside from the character designs

as long as they don't fuck up Marvin
I'll be okay

Hmm, never watched that show. Gonna check it out! Thanks, user!

>inflation
Who hired Dobson?

I have seen it. And I'm not gonna sit though a show that I find visually unpleasing more than once.

>daffy is back to his original self
holy shit yes! I've been waiting for this so long

youtu.be/zLkdzBvMcE4

why did people hate this show?
I love it

Not Looney enough I assume

It's not Looney Tunes.

Good riddance. Shit was terrible. At least the new version actually feels like Looney Tunes, and not a mediocre sitcom.

It's pretty cool that theyve gone with old wacky daffy

>won't do wacky thing pls help out
>oh okay just don't do wacky thing
>JUST KIDDING LOL AM WACKY
>Y-YOU TOLD ME YOU WOULDN'T GO WACKY! YOU LIED TO ME!
yep, that's the best their team could come up with. the same basic shit tier slapstick from the previous show.

I'm tired of playing the same old waiting game I did with wabbit. step up your fucking writing at once, don't get my hopes up yet again with the conviction that it'll 'get better eventually', because I know by heart and soul it never will.

porky will probably end up growing on me but for now his design and overall execution is barely hinging on hideous. daffy's personality is a mixed bag, I like his spunk and tone in general, but if this type of humor is what can be expected out of the show then by all means just fucking hand it to someone else capable of doing not bland shit.

underrated post

>just fucking hand it to someone else capable of doing not bland shit.
that is what looney tunes are incapable of doing since the 90's

>those wrinkles
why do they look so ugly?

stills looks better than TLS

That's objectively wrong

This is my main problem. It's the same with every new iteration of Tom & Jerry.

Good slapstick needs weight, needs the right amount of uumph to at least make you feel like i hurt. But today's TV standards no longer allow that level of violence.

It's why every new released from Tom & Jerry feels weak and boring. They are not allowed to do the same level of slapstick that made them famous, both because animation and because standards don't allow it anymore.

Looney Tunes Show was not traditional, but worked within the boundaries of what animation budgets they had. It's why the Roadrunner & Coyote segments were the worse: They couldn't have good slapstick in the budget and format they had.

So when someone tries to act like "We can do old fashion slapstick, we swear guys!" and then pulls this feels worse than not trying at all.

Psycho Daffy? Nah that was a Porky pig thing and even then he evolved into jackass Daffy in those bits as well.

>That feel when, despite this new version, modern Mickey Mouse is more Looney than the New Looney Tunes.

they've deformed the characters to hell and back because they were blank slates, not hard to do.

I believe at this point that Disney has accepted Donald being the superior character of the brand, even his gf looks better than Mickey's gf.

Would love if they truly went back to the wacky with Sylvester singing on the fence and stuff like that. I guess old Looney Tunes have too much violence for modern tv though. Sure, reruns are accepted but to actually recreate that magic probably wouldn't sit well with investors and shit.

Yet still feel more crazy and zany that this supposed new attempt at turning the Looney tunes to their zany roots.

This is not about Mickey Mouse being better, but about Looney tunes being worse when they were suppose to BE the zany answer to the Mouse.

>implying that tweety didnt already have kawaii eyes
>implying that the japanese didnt take it from disney and the like

>died
Their plan was to only ordered two seasons. No more, no less.
