> its a starwars movie about a starwars character people know

That's literally how they pitch these, user

Ewan and kid Luke go on space adventures with a porg
At the end, Ewan erases Luke's memories with a Jedi mind trick

Something with Siri Tachi.

The real Kenobi is killed on Tatoine and a female transgender who cared for kenobi takes the mantle and changin their apprence to look like him

Pretty much this video
youtube.com/watch?v=RD4yGpk5Z4k

a senile obi wan running around tattoine telling good friends storys

Ben's trip to Ryloth for some aggressive negotiations with the locals.

Canonically, Ryloth is fairly close to Tatooine, so it wouldn't even cost much.

>not qui-gon jin broing it up with obi, going on crazy adventures and missions, lethal weapon style

this might actually cause riots

it's just obi wan kenobi cutting peoples limbs off, setting them on fire and then watching them suffer as he tells them "you're a brother to me"

there's a book series about that, but obi-wan is a babby and qui-gon is just mean to him all the time

I think a great treatment of this would be Obi Wan on Tatooine and how he managed to evade capture. At one point in the movie some Imperial officer or spy finds out who he is and he has to race against the clock to catch him and kill him before he is found out. Also, a cool thing would be moments between him and Luke where he acts from the shadows to protect Luke somehow, where they almost meet multiple times but Obi disappears before Luke sees him.

>directed by Rian Johnson
What more do you need user?

some fuckers on tatooine learn who Ben Kenobi really is, so he has got to hunt them down and kill them all before they sell the information to the empire

>Kenobi
>Kino boy

Kek

The rising force right?

Several years after episode 3. Obi wan is on a tatooine. He is a hermit...alone. then suddenly, yoda appears to him. Darth vaders has returned as a ghost terrorizing the planet of naboo. It is up to yoda and obi wan to save the planet from ghost Vader and his darth minions.

Kenobi revealed for sexual assault by tons of female Jedi in exile. Disgraced, Kenobi resigns and goes to Tattooine for treatment and rehab, becomes a pedophile instead.

personally I'd take a movie set between the prequels. bring lucas and the same actors back, idgaf. I enjoyed obi wan and anakin, I just don't think there was enough despite three whole movies

but luke knew old ben but he didnt know he was obi wan

Will Ewan McMc play in it?

>it will make a billion
>we can sell more toys
>it's safer and easier than writing new characters

This movie will be the movie that will make the Clone Wars TV show non-canon if that makes you happy, because pretty much Obi-Wan's life is completely set in stone in the entire Clone Wars franchise. From how he trained with Qui-Gon Jinn, his romantic escapades with Duchess Satine and how they met during Obi-Wan's jedi training, how Obi-Wan was a rebellious student but tempered a bit as he matured, etc, etc, etc.

You either have to follow the canon show and be a "as expected" movie, or scrap the whole thing entirely.

He said he would if they offered.

Honestly, it's not like Ben had to stay his entire time on Tatooine. Just no Vader in these films, because then it would make no sense.

Doesn't matter. Luke would be in some danger and Obi would kick ass and then right as Luke sees him, he'd be back to old ben "Hello there, boy"

A broken and disillusioned Obi Wan is tortured by not only the betrayal of his best friend and partner, Anakin Skywalker but also the violent acts he had to commit to defeat the mad Sith Lord.

He struggles to reconcile his good hearted nature with what he has done and seeks a life of solitude watching over the young Skywalker when turmoil forces him to abandon his post and learn again who he is, and the terrible truth that Darth Vader, Obi-Wan's old friend and pupil has survived to wreak havoc across a galaxy fractured by evil.

The main plot would involve Jedi survivors banding together to make a last stand against the emperor, with Vader hunting them down.

The emotional weight of the film is from Obi-Wan's journey from broken man to the relatively cheery mentor in waiting we meet in A New Hope.

I wouldn't sell it. I'd throw it away.

Make Darth Maul back as with that animation show and it's all set.

Obi-Wan leading the 212th Clones into battles, political intrigue showing why he's named 'The Negotiator,' and a duel with Grievous.

Or,

Obi-Wan after he escaped Order 66, the rise of the Empire and the revelation that Vader is Anakin, secret meeting with Yoda

Or,

Obi-Wan after he defeated Maul, his rise to Jedi Master, accepting Anakin as his Padawan

he stayed to protect luke and meditate and tell good friend stories to anyone that would listen

I don't mean for extended periods, just little jaunts in case he needs information or relics.

Obi-Wan and an inoffensively unattractive overweight woman with a bizarre hairstyle from Mos Eisley have a romantic comedy adventure with Tusken Raiders.

Something really grimdark, like Gran Torino but set on Tattooine. Maybe he takes down a bunch of criminals harassing the Skywalkers, or defends them from a shit-ton of Tuskens. You could even have him being tempted to the Dark Side due to guilt about failing Anakin, then he watches young Luke carry out a random act of kindness and then his faith is restored.

yeah the rising force is the first episode. Thinking about it now, it might have made for a good tv series if we lived in an alternate timeline.

>Obi-ewan meets MEW character
>turns out she has husband
>husband turns to dark side
>time travels to become darth maul
>Obi-ewan gives no fucks

make it like an oceans 11 heist movie where he teams up with jabba to take down a rival hutt casino

Obi Wan goes around collecting Jedi shit for Luke to use and eventually establish a training ground with.

A western samurai flick in which Kenobi defends a humble Tatooine village from bandits, sand people, and bounty hunters. Along the way he struggles with the ghosts of his past (taking literal form as ghost Qui-gon, visions of Anakin, and Darth Maul), culminating with the renewal of his faith in the Force and the Jedi.

SCOTTISH COCKSUCKER

Both the Han Solo and Obi-Wan movies are useless. Both character's stories have ended, nothing will be gained by going into backstories/showing other events that will not matter to much of anything it the end?

Why not make a Knights of Ren movie and actually explain Snoke and show some of the Jedi teaching Luke was doing?

We're only doing this if Ewan is.

Solo I agree. Nothing we really need to know about him. But ill give anything to see my Scottish cocksucker back

Don't worry, it will be a much younger actor with a lucky name ending with "stein" or "Berg"...

Just like the Solo movie...

Pls tell me this isn't true. On the other hand, i've stopped caring.

If Ewan McGregor is in the Obi-Wan movie, I will probably be more receptive to it. Otherwise, meh. I still think the story is going to go nowhere.

>Ben Kenobi is fighting the urge to help locals in Tatooine from Imperial oppression
>We get to see more disagreement between Ben Kenobi and Owen Lars
>Takes inspiration from samurai and western movies

I dunno, something like that

The whole movie will be about how Obi-Wan Kenobi survived the deserts of Tatooine out of reach from criminals, swoop gangs, Jabba the Hutt, and Bounty Hunters.

Of course he doesn't do this without the help of a woman who is completely keeping him alive. She is the one who gets him food, she is the one who believes in him and the force, she is the one who sees the good in him out of all the violent criminal minded men, and she is the one who makes him sane and focused on his mission because Kenobi couldn't possibly do it without a woman there to help him.

Obi-wan cucks Darth Rileyus about whom the film revolves, it ends with Darth MEWius turning into the light side and sacrificing herself for Obi, whom watches the spectacle sitting comfortably on the high ground.

It’s true it begins production in January 2019. Can’t remember the name of the director rumored for the project but it’s happening.

Will she be a big-toothed brunette Brit?

First of all, we need to cast a female, a black, an asian and a faggot. It's 2018 and it's all about being ethnically diverse. We don't want to exclude anybody.

>Just like the Solo movie

This had better be bait, his last name ends with "reich"

It's McGregor or nothing for me. Yeah the story is gonna go nowhere, that's a given, but watching him back in the role would at least be fun for an hour or 2.

>Obi Wan is depressed
>Meets MEW
>They run off together
>unbeknownst to Obi Wan MEW left her husband for him
>Her Husband Riley Stearns becomes one of Palpatine's assassins and learns the dark side of the force
>He then chases after MEW and Obi Wan revealing his powers
>Obi Wan reveals himself as a Jedi Master
>Riley attacks hoping to gain favor from Palpatine
>Obi Wan has the upper hand until Riley attacks MEW.
>Obi Wan is at a disadvantage but MEW takes a blow for him and dies
>Riley is distraught and Obi Wan takes the opportunity to chop off his limbs and set him on fire
>Sadly for Riley no one comes to save him and he dies from his injuries
>Movie ends with a scene of Obi Wan playing with Luke until Uncle Owen chases him off

Who is a stronger force weilder than young Obi Wan when he cut Anakin in half?

Sheev. Obi Wan was number 2

It's going to be Kinobi

>Owen Lars gets in a dispute with local crime syndicate, endangering him and his family. Obi-Wan gets involved.
>Vader sends bounty hunters to track down Obi-Wan and other Jedi
>Maul wants revenge

> darth maul with spider legs
> stronk wxmyn
> the cantina scene again except all the aliens are ethnic minorities
> finally reveal how he got the name ben
> insufferable child actor cast as luke
> quips
> something that irreparably damages obi wan for everyone in the audience born before the 90's

it'll make a billion desu

The theme/cinematography for the film is similar to that melancholic yet comfy feel that you get in Fallen Angels. The film starts where the final scene left off in RotS, except from Obi's pov. He then travels to Mos Eisley where he rents an austere room in an old somewhat rundown inn/motel. He is polite to his neighbours who are nice but definitely rough and down on their luck but he keeps to himself and does a lot of mundane things around town like buying food and the occasional supplies for a secluded walk in the rough wilderness of the planet where he reflects on life. All of these things making up for the scenes for the first half of the film.

The pacing is slow but not lethargic. He also doesn't speak more than a few words or sentences in most scenes but you can see what he's thinking and feeling in his movement and tame expressions. Not having a particular destination due to the journey being more of a spiritual one than anything else, he wanders for days but is guided by the force. He then finds himself stumbling upon a group of Tuskan Raiders in a canyon below his makeshift campsite. Hearing a commotion, he then decides to investigate the raider's campsite. He sees that one of his neighbours in the motel is being held captive (Upon his departure from Mos Eisley days before he sees the neighbour(s) also departing on some sort of mission or adventure) He decides that he should rescue them and see them to safety. With minimal flashy violence and action, he accomplishes this feat (I would have others develop the more detailed nature of the neighbour arc and their mission which Obi-wan would inevitably help resolve in that camp or if so deemed, at a larger raider site which could be traveled to after the initial rescue) Overall keeping the original theme of the film, you would see Obi-wan finding strength in himself and re-affirming his belief in the Jedi codes and his mission to protect and train Luke. After a happy return to a safe place, Obi-wan and the neighbour(s) depart and the films final scene shows him going to his new home (his place in ANH)

Think it would be very comfycore for sure.

Tell me what you lads think

Is this really going to come out?

No. It's not needed.

Instead I would love like 2 Clone Wars movies focused on battles and events duing the Clone Wars between Episode 2 and 3.

a ripoff of Yojimbo and A Fistful of Dollars but Star Wars

R-rated Ridley Scott directed "star wars"
Ewan as Obi-Wan, no shitty side catheters or sub-plots.
Obi-Wan wanders the desert and the galaxy during his waning years between Sith and New Hope: haunted by his past, trying to find a new meaning and purpose out of his dead religion. He is the real Last Jedi..

>puts on Obi-Wan's cloak
>"Now I am the Obi Wan"
>morphs into him

>GET THAT JEDI COCK SUCKER

>>oh no we have to do what the comic writers manage to do monthly

Due to increasing imperial presence on tatooine, the sand people are driven closer to the Skywalker farm.
Obi Wan, no longer the mighty warrior of his youth, must use skill and subterfuge to undermine imperial operations and lure the sand people away from Luke
All the while he must keep hidden, less he draw Vader's attention
Also Qui Gon and Obi Wan discuss the nature of the force
