Is it at all believable that Atrocitus was a psychologist? He's too blunt, too low-EQ. He doesn't seem to care about others at all, except for when he does. (The time when he let someone execute a kid's dad in front of Kyle Rayner vs the little girl with the doll whose brothers got shredded that he wanted to take back with him to Ysmault.)
I think he's an archetype, but the writers can't decide if he has a good heart or if he's a beast.
In Red Lanterns #1, he says 'some people's rage is worthier than others'.' I don't know for sure, but this doesn't seem to be right, not after just having dissolved a man begging for mercy.
Ian Collins
Just look at this. He's not recognizing his hypocrisy at all. Or maybe he is recognizing it, but not allowing himself to be swayed from the arbitrary object of vengeance he's picked.
Hunter Lewis
Atrocitus was a good man once but is entirely consumed by his rage.
he has a good heart, but it is in the grip of the beast.
Nolan Brooks
At least it's glossed over easily with the "Red Lanterns are inherently unstable and unreliable" shit.
Also, I can't look at a page with Bleez without thinking of that Blue Beetle boner scene.
Parker Barnes
Put the page!
Xavier Morris
Which boner scene? I'm new.
>Bleez 'Which Lantern is going to get their sanity and brains back? GOSH WHAT A MYSTERY
Zachary Young
Right, this is what I'm annoyed by. He doesn't seem to have any of the skills he presumably used to have. No insight into others, very little compassion. No subtlety.
It's just, you'd think a shrink with rage problems would still be shrinky.

Which is the best Lantern Corps, and why is it Indigo?
Charles Reed
Wow, how awkward it must be to have a rising codpiece every time you get an erection.
Also, I'm surprised that Bleez is taken aback, she seems very sexual. Look at her butt.
Jeremiah Jones
Because of their endless nok nok jokes
>Nok nok >Whos there >Nok >Fuck you
Elijah Sanders
Dude he's been frothing rage and misery for literally billions of years. His mind is shot.
Indigo is only good for villains and it keeps them from being villains. I would love for something to happen so that they can have their usual minds but their staves only work when they are using their powers for good. So you get something like Suicide Squad as lanterns.
Camden Lopez
before she became a Red Lantern her mindset was basically "Yes, I'm fucking sexy. No, you can't touch. Deal with it."
Then she got raped
Cooper Perry
That's fair, I suppose. I can accept some flip-flopping.
>'You're a monster, as bad as [the executioners]!' >'I'm worse!'
vs the second post, where he's shucking off all blame for the soldier's immanent demise.
Michael Long
.....That's not bad.
We haven't seen their rings readjusted like we have the Red and Violet's. Could work.
Ian Long
Did she lose the 'Yes I'm fucking sexy' trait?
>I would love for something to happen so that they can have their usual minds There's a possibility to wear them without getting mindfucked, see Lantern Stewart. Captain Atom also wore one.
Also, there's a big difference between Compassionate and Good, seeing as Indigo-1's debut was brutally mercy-killing an injured Green Lantern. (Which is strange, btw, since Indigo Lanterns can heal. Whoops.)
Landon King
Does anyone know where I can find the formation of the Blood Lake? The magic creation of the Red Lantern Rings?
Nathaniel Ross
...
David Smith
Its literally irony. He gave into what he helped others with at some point
Aiden Miller
Grief and rage? He was only training to be a psychologist, he hadn't gotten his license yet.
Lincoln Lopez
Studying psych never prevented anyone from being a hypocritical psycho.
Eli Powell
Honestly Bleez is evil. I would not feel ashamed looking at her ass or getting an erection around her because it's not like I need her to respect me.
Juan Fisher
You sure she's evil? The Red Lanterns seem to be a force for good.... sorta.
