>instead the sperging shippers white knight by accusing all complaints to be about virginity

There are about 5 threads about SJ and all of them are how shit it is now compared to original season.

Are you blind?

>Implying that this speaks for the entirety of Samurai Jack criticizers
>Implying there aren't at least a dozen turbo-virgin, nostalgia-addled, autists sperging about Samurai Jack on Sup Forums.

>Am I literally the only one who is enjoy the season so far?- 1 post shown.
Honestly OP, fuck off. This is the most annoying, lazy way to try and validate your opinions. Rather than form an arguement for why you are really enjoying this season and disagree with the detractors you basically just made a call for someone to do it for you.

You said nothing insightful, just started a thread where you mine as well have said "please validate my opinion Sup Forums" Not only that, you attempt to invalidate any criticism by implying that if people hold them they didn't enjoy the show.

Honestly I hate people like you

Well user to answer your question no clearly you aren't. I am as well it's been excellent for the most part.

I think hands-down season 5 is the best season, even if it's not perfect.

People freak out when there are a couple of slow/rushed episodes. Well the first three episode were amazing, the middle three episodes were pretty good, and episode 8 was funny as hell.

It's better than everything on air right now.

>Am I literally the only one who is enjoy the season so far?
I couldn't be happier with it. I'm a sucker for this type of shit.

Know any place I can find some quality art for SJ?

have an art user, on the house

for all the shit we give them, Tumblr actually produces some great art

Tumblr's actually worse than /co right now with all the fags and homos triggered

>Kissless virgin

Isn't there a tumblr savior extension that blocks all SJW bullshit.

That said, I've seen genuinely good art at the center of long and extremely retarded liberal rants, so that extension is a double-edged sword.

>my ancestor :)

here user

:)

I mean are they wrong?

Holy Shit why was Jack spilling spaghetti to unprecedented levels here

He could have been so much smoother here

Nah, I'd say that Sup Forums is generally enjoying it quite a lot, but this is Sup Forums, OP. Arguments over taste are like three-quarters of everything here.

Kind of. Yeah. All they do is complaining about shitty pacing and writing. But I had no problem keeping up with the show. And the pacing is pretty similar to the pacing with previous seasons.

That to-my-ovaries chick collates like all the Jashi art she can find.

You can just search 'samurai jack' or 'jashi' on tumblr and skip anything with text, too, since that's where most of the art is coming from.

>All they do is complaining about shitty pacing and writing
But it is worse
>le i had no problem so it's perfect
>>>/reddit/

DA them.

> Jack spilling spaghetti to unprecedented levels here
That's what made this episode gold.

>Jack
>smooth

Jack is anything but smooth.

Agree

>But it is worse
No it isn't
>>le i had no problem so it's perfect
No one here said it was perfect. You're actually making a prime example of those sperging virgin I am talking about.

You're not the only one to enjoy the season.

There are a mass of contrarians looking to make a controversial opinion because it's the only way they may interact on the internet that will provide some perceived status of "intellectually superior" to another human being.

Their lives, away from the keyboard, are probably oppressive, bleak, and or monotonous. Due to this fact, they seek some sort of comfort in being able to lord over another man, even in a digital setting. The quickest way to accomplish that goal is through a staunch rebuke of another man's pleasure as if to say that "My taste is better. I am of a higher status." It's a safe option that allows for temporary shelter against the storm of uncontrollable events called their life.

Do not pay them any mind, for they are lost. Pleasure, fraternity, and community evades them. Fear them not. Pity them greatly.

This season has its flaws but it is still a solid 7-8/10 so far. I'm enjoying it well enjoy and take pleasure watching it with Sup Forums on the weekends.

It is. The unsatifying end to plot points and the shift of behavior between characters and well as the way their relationships work is going to fast and poorly that I really don't understand how could anyone say this season is better than any of the original 4.
>virgin virgin virgin
Grow up.

No, the majority of people love the show.

There's just a very, very loud minority of Sup Forumsntrarians circlejerking about how the plot hasn't gone the way they wanted.

If only they could take some time out of their busy schedule of being offended by romance to appreciate the god tier art direction that went into EP8. The entire train scene in particular was fantastic.

>It is. The unsatifying end to plot points and the shift of behavior between characters and well as the way their relationships work is going to fast and poorly that I really don't understand how could anyone say this season is better than any of the original 4.
I've been keeping up fine so far. So has other people. Just because you're too retarded to understand what's going on doesn't make the entire season shit.

If you really want to argue about this do it in other anti SJ threads. I don't get what you are trying to do here.

I know, Phil nailed it.

I felt the awkward in my living room.

I have to hand it to Genndy, he knows exactly what hes doing.

>'ba da da da' interupting the fight

I know hes always been that way, its just more awkward to see him mess up prime chances with Ashi.

Ashi has a weird head design , but in 3d it kinda works .

Here's where you retards don't get it. Good pacing isn't about "getting it" or "explaning shit" it's about having good fucking pacing, if Jack and Ashi go from acquaintances from episode 7 to flirting high shoolers (Jack is 70+ years old) in episode 8 for no reason then it's shit.

>leave our hugbox alone :(((((
back to tumblr, niggger.

Pretty sure Jack's earnest artlessness is part of what Ashi likes about him.

And hey, he got there. It just took a brush with death an a failed attempt to play Simon Sez to do it.

I'm enjoying it. It's not my ideal conclusion but how can you live life expecting everything created by others to be ideal for you?

I fucking love this season.

Don't understand all the hate for Jashi. They're perfect together

It's not perfect, but I still think this seasons been great so far.

I see people slagging it off for not being as dark as the first three episodes, but I'm kinda glad. It still feels like the same world.

I also think people are exaggerating the flaws a bit. Yeah, pacing's a little of, yeah Jashi is kinda predictable, but I really don't see how that outweighs the really GOOD stuff f the season. With only 10 episodes, they're doing their best, and their best is very entertaining, looks gorgeous, and I can't wait to see how it ends.

>ashi desperatley waiting for jack to 'activate it'
>Jack sweats in embarrassment as he struggles to do it
>"I-I cant figure it out"
>Ashi: 'here let me try'

Too real Genndy, too real

>Jack finally figures it out
>they're both screaming within 5 seconds and panting within 10

the whole episode was a metaphor of having sex, wasn't it? At least that's how I interpreted it

I was giggling like a fucking schoolgirl throughout the whole damn thing.
>mfw that fucking voice crack

youtube.com/watch?v=CGBSdYGA9II

While I don't think it was meant to be a one-for-one metaphor, it seems to me that Genndy and company were definitely staging things so that they could be interpreted that way, yeah.

>Relationship comes to a head on a literal ship.
>The ship is alien, an 'exploring new things' metaphor?
>Jack sucking on Ashi's leg as (clumsy) foreplay.
>Jack not knowing how to 'initiate the device' (get it in)
>electrifying climax after the pair scream each others' names
>heavy post-climax breathing

No, I'm very much enjoying it as well.

the Zone-bait in this episode was fucking unreal

Zone was awestruck, apparently, on twitter.

Don't much mind where their relationship is now. But I was on the Mentor/ student wagon as I felt that was best for the time, with it transitioning to a romantic one later. Can't really do that though with just 10 episodes.... sad.

I like how no one mentions that the slug with teeth screaming as the first wave are electrocuted is a metaphor for Jack's seed getting into ashis egg. My boy jack got that super sperm tho

That's a bit of an esoteric interpretation.

Everyone has legit criticisms about the show, and you shouldn't hold it against them if they're passionate about it. This HAS been a conclusion that we've been waiting for since ten years. Let's just be reasonable and remember that. We need to be able to criticize the show, or we risk turning into a filthy tumblr hugbox.

I've enjoyed Season 5 of Samurai Jack. The only complaint I could really make is how rushed it comes off, but this is due to it only being 10 episodes long.

Your not the only one I'm enoying this season too sure it's not a solid 10 but it's still very enjoyable it's just that some people will literally bitch about anything no one is ever pleased

I had to pause episode 8 a few times because it was too cute for me.

This episode made me so happy and giggly. Never mind me being a lonely sad soul.

give the the latest update please

here ug o

some people still enjoy things quietly op dont worry

>Coming to Sup Forums for fanart

Why tho.

Were the worst site for this.

This.

8 was so sweet, it gave me diabeetus

false

i'm enjoying it a lot
though i feel ashi was too quickly convinced.
it was like she was convinced, and THEN she met all the people jack had affected

Valid criticisms = being a frustrated virgin now?

Who let facebook in here?

That's exactly how I feel.
>The first 3 episodes were great, but it went downhill from there.
Like shut the fuck up amirite? The latest episode is great because it creates a problem for the future: stay with ashi or get back to the past?

To be fair, Jack didn't exactly live up to his reputation as 'great destructor, obliterator of peace and nature.'

make your own art then faggot and

Jack can slice down an entire army but can't hold it together for a minute in front of a pretty girl who shows any slight interest in him. That's how he's always been.

>the whole episode was a metaphor of having sex, wasn't it?

well...

frikineitor143.tumblr.com/post/160489953132/ill-go-to-hell-for-this-but-i-dont-care

Youre not alone OP. Im immensely enjoying the show and bathing in the tears of anti jashi people. Looking forward to the finale! Cant wait to see how they wrap it all up after all these years. Really the ONLY complaint i have is that the didnt find someone better for aku. But i can deal with it since we are finally getting a conclusion.

RIP Mako

Blame the executives. At least Genndy is tying up most of the loose ends. This Saturday is the biggest of them all.

The Sup Forumsntrarianism is so thick, it's palpable.

My 5 cents.
I am enjoying it.

However, I think the problem is, that you expect something, yet the shows surprises you, a lot.

That is.
1. At the beginning it was extremely dark, including blood. The third episode had peaked the violence.
2. Then the show progressively changes the mood. It is not that bloody, it slowly shows up the hope, both ashi and jack changes their appearance. SUDDEN ROMANCE.

For the last episode, I just got a little cringe, as it didn't even try to hide the romance plot.

Is there any source, explanation for the episode limit?

Pacing is the only remotely serious problem with this season (and it's been present in every season, just less visible because s1-4 were episodic), and it's nowhere near a big enough problem to warrant the 'FUCK GENNDY FUCK GENNDY FUCK GENNDY HE'S A HACK THIS IS GOING TO RUIN HIS CAREER' chimpouts that the vocal minority has been having.

I feel like because we're getting a overarching story for 10 episodes a lot of them don't really keep track of time very well which causes a lot of the pacing issues.
The first 5 or so episodes have been sequential; but almost everything afterwards likes to jump and skip a bit too much

I enjoy Ashi and Jack being together. They both were raised as tools with a singular purpose, and had to live with the pressure to succeed, or be seen as failures by their parents. Also they both were clueless as to romance because of their upbringings as well, so it would be pretty unrealistic for their feelings to be developed at a normal pace. Really, they both heal each other.

Jack really didn't get any real interaction with a female since he was a kid.

Yeah, I've loved every episode so far...well, the most recent one was kind of meh, but the rest are some good shit.

>y-you just hate Jashi!!

I really don't give a fuck about shipping; I don't get that emotionally invested in imaginary story characters.

The episode as a whole just felt like a generic action-romance. It wasn't bad, just generic and cliche-feeling.

It jsut really bugs me that jack's like 50 something years older than her even if they're physically a similar age. Like he has to mentally be much older than her, unless he just got stuck with all the PTSD stuff when if came to the whole mental aging thing.

No you grow up.

This too.

I thin kyou're reaching there.

The problem is that it does feel like some of the people aren't talking about the show's problems to have a discussion but instead to just kinda meme and annoy people who do like it. Like people do have good and vlid critisicms and there are a lot of people who genuinely want to discuss it. It's just that it feels like some people are doing it to not be constructive, they're more here to meme and post reaction images and stuff as a joke than anything else. That's all fine and dandy but it does feel like it's being over done too.

Nope, if anything they're not harsh enough. This season is literal LOK-tier, but really worse if only because it's harder to separate it from the original.

Sorry to be that guy but does anyone has a mega link by any chance?

Yeah, that's what happens when you try to cram all this story into 10 episodes: shit gets rushed, hard

Yeah, it's pretty hard to get an idea of what the timespans have been throughout and in between each episode. Ep 5 suffered the most, though. Regardless, it's been a really fun and endearing season. Shame the contrarians can't enjoy it.

> unless he just got stuck with all the PTSD stuff when if came to the whole mental aging thing.

Severe untreated depression and PTSD can really fuck up your social and emotional development and make years upon years of your life seem like a meaningless haze. You become a prisoner trapped within yourself rather than somebody who's interacting with the outside world and growing. In addition, Jack never hit any of the milestones that cause adults to mature. If Jack was really that fucked up for 50 years then he didn't mature at all. He was surrounded in a thick facade that kept his 'true self' separated from reality.

Jack has been ALONE for almost his entire life. Every single person he's ever met has been kept at arm's length by propriety or duty since Aku returned. Even friends like the Scotsman, you had a certain distance, an understanding that each had their own callings and either might die in the doing.

Jack doesn't even notice, but he's opened a hole in his armor in a way that hasn't been possible since his parents.

>Holy Shit why was Jack spilling spaghetti to unprecedented levels here

Sounds like good ol' regular Jack desu

It feels this way because those of us without rose-colored glasses are angry about the positive reception and we want to bring the season down a notch, so that we get higher quality stuff next time.
