well to be honest that scene is just shitty emotionless sanitized choreography edited with great music.

*seethes angrily*

> name 1 (one) scene in nu-wars that is iconic as this scene
that was an easy one

thats the entire point of music you retard. this is why nu-wars is so bad. not a single track from its soundtrack cracks even the top 20 best star wars themes

I can watch it on youtube without the rest of the movie and enjoy it. I cant really say that for anything in the new movies. Maybe I need to watch them again though, but nothing sticks out at all. The throne room fight in TLJ maybe?

Also none of the music in the new movies stands out at all, like, none of it.

>shitty emotionless sanitized choreography
go back to disneyshit

Shit movie. Fantastic soundrack. Has one more thing going for it than the new one.

>thump thump
NOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!

>if you don't love the frigid choreography with zero tension of the prequels that means you must love the disney movies
ok friend

>zero tension
lies

You asked for it.

God damn Qui Gon was terrible with a lightsaber

>they all attack her fucking lightsaber instead of her
That last guy to attack on the left couldve and shouldve just swung low with the amount of time he had. I dont mind choreography but at least make it look like they are trying to beat eachother.

he was GREAT at being a force ghost though!

Was Rian absent when they filmed this?

>krssh krssh kr krsssh krsh krrrrsh krsh krsh krsh krsh wooomp wooomp wooomp wooooom woooomp

I love the flips maul makes after obi-wan breaks his lightsaber. Hes much more agile and flashy than anybody else in the series

Did he really say that?

the voices in his head did

Every time I see this gif I find another new comical failure.

The original movies had boring saberlight fights, that's a thing they improved a lot in the prequels. That gif can confirm it.

I still think this fight is the best one in the trilogy; they had the good sense to try to have long camera takes instead of the closeup/cutup shit that dominates fight scenes today.
Some people complain about the choreography making it look fake; that argument doesn't fly with me because the whole idea of jedi being able to predict the future or at least sense what is just about to happen means that in a fight with two force-sensitive people they'll already know what their opponent is going to do, so the moves become far more efficient and smooth.

Lucas tried to make the point that in TPM we'd see Jedi at their peak; if technique and training are at their peak too, then these kinds of fights are not only appropriate but well thought-out and executed. Fuck the people who say it looks too beautiful...that's the whole fucking point.

What I wouldn't give to have had them do Count Dooku vs. Mace WIndu... in the old canon those two were both amongst the most dangerous practitioners.

she probably has made a few sabers already and even already possess the knowledge of where in the galaxy rare crystals are just because

Wait... Why didn't Qui Gon reappear on Eps II and/or III as a ghost? It seriously would have been great for his character. Did Neeson not want to do anything with SW anymore?

youtube.com/watch?v=utFRqsT61-k

That was the plan. Yoda hears his voice when Anakin killed the Tuskin Raiders. They couldn’t get him for III for some reason but a scene had been planned.

But none of this makes sense. If Quigon turned into a ghost, why didn't his body disappear like Obiwan, Yoda, and the rest who turned to ghosts? We don't see Darth Vadar's body because it's in the suit, and Luke burns the suit, so that's okay....but if Quigon got into the ghost realm, shouldn't his body have disappeared after he died in the power room?

>We don't see Darth Vadar's body because it's in the suit
We still see Vaders face when he dies.

Easiest explanation si that only pure light siders disappear. Darth Vader was a last minute convert and Qui-gon is pretty much a Grey Jedi in all but name.

He was supposed to appear in III at the end as an out-of-body voicce, but he had a broken leg or some shit like that, and couldn't make it to the recordings. He does appear in the Clone wars series, however.

Thanks; my understanding based solely on what we see in the films was that anyone who appeared as a ghost (like at the end of ROTJ) would have disappeared when they died.

Given that Yoda is briefly seen dead before he disappears, I assumed that Vader had the same thing happen; that he disappears off-screen after we see Luke's reaction or whatever.

With Quigon though his body is seen to be burnt at the end of Ep. 1, hence my confusion.

Thanks for clearing it up sortof.

Oh, and I forgot.
>do dee do dee dodee do dodo dodoledo delodedo

Yoda and Obi-Wan died intentionally. Qui-Gon died abruptly.
