This is the first mock-up I did. I actually REALLY like the way this looks, but I don't think it fits the content too well, considering The Perfect Weapon and Bait are the only short stories that tie-in with TFA at all.
What I'd really love is an image similar to this, but more in line with the GCW era, considering the majority of the stories take place between ROTS and TFA.
Also the copy text is just temporary for now.

Why does it always look like his chin was punched in? Or that someone or something took a huge bite out of it? Not knocking him as he lookks great in some shots, but it's just strange
It was the only time the mask was CG. They changed it because this was originally the first time we saw Kylo without his mask. But they decided they wanted the first time he showed his face to be with Rey instead. So instead of re-filming the scene, they just stuck on the mask in post.
People getting angry over it are retarded.
It's all the Insider short stories (I think there are 16 of them), plus The Perfect Weapon (only released as an eBook) and the three short stories from the Rise of the Empire paperback (since I don't want to double dip with that book).
The idea of splitting them up makes sense, and I actually hadn't thought of that. The problem is that there's not really enough per era:
TCW: 1
in between 3 and 4: 7
during OT: 5
after ROTJ: 7
I guess I could do it 8-5-7, but also that's buying 3 books instead of one lol.
One of my original ideas had been "Star Wars: Tales," but I'm worried that they'll reuse that title for something in canon at some point.

To better capture the emotion of his performance, rather than just have him utter his lines as if he were simply speaking. ADR stuff - Kylo can't pull off Vader's monotone delivery because there's still quite a bit of repressed emotion bubbling to the surface.
He did though. There wasn't a single clone helmet filmed for the prequels.

I don't know that anyone's actually angry at the shot itself, just annoyed at the way people praised this shot as some amazing technical achievement while simultaneously criticizing Lucas for doing exactly this
I've seen people get angry about it because they think it means that the helmet was never practical when it was literally all the rest of the movie.

Doubtful. Whatever the next show is will probably have an even smaller budget than Rebels too since the show was not very successful. Expect the worst, Rebels was never great and it's unlikely we're going up from here under these circumstances.

Pretty much these. The Jedi were civil servants. They worked for the Republic at large and answered to the Senate. The Temple, or at least the property lot the Temple sits on, was allotted to them by the Republic. Considering it's built on a Sith temple in order to put a cap on any Dark Side vibes, the Jedi probably got to chose the spot too.

Jedi Starfighters are approved and purchased through the chancellors office. I believe it was mentioned in some of the gaming books. Sheev had to personally sign off on every ship a jedi ever got in his reign.

Coruscant is where a Sith temple was. Pretty much up until Bane, I believe, which means until ~1000 years ago, not generations.
