Is pixar creativity bankrupt?

is pixar creativity bankrupt?

is this still a question people are asking?

to be fair inside out came out not to long ago and that was alright.

>According to the New York Times, Lasseter, Stanton, Ranft, and Docter then started a brainstorming session sketching the outlines and characters that would make up four of the studio's greatest films (1998's "A Bug's Life," 2001's "Monsters, Inc.," 2003's "Finding Nemo," and 2008's "WALL-E") on nothing more than the napkins on their table.
Yes, everything beyond Wall-E has been lazy.
I loved Coco but it was a Disney movie, as was Inside Out sorta.

They still put out a decent movie every once and again but the magic was gone after Up!. They're really just Disney now.

Yes. They had one good brainstorm in the 90s and have been out of ideas since.
>I loved Coco but it was a Disney movie
All Pixar is Disney
It's not mother!, no one has ever stylized it that way, it's just Up

Could have sworn it was stylized that way on a poster. I am basing this on a memory that's 8 years old tho

All the good people from Pixar went to Disney around 2010

Jeb! animated short when?

>Disney purchased Pixar in 2006 at a valuation of $7.4 billion
Everything after Wall-E has been more and more human-centered, or a sequel of an older movie.
Coco was about a murdered parent (a Disney staple) and the power of song (a Disney staple)

So what's your favorite Pixar movie? I think Incredible, Ratatouille (?) and Wall E are my top three.

Wall-E, Up, Toy Story

Oh yeah that's why Disney is so fucking shit now right.

is it disney?

Wall E, Toy Story, Finding Nemo

mandela effect bro

TS1, 2, 3 and Incredibles. Rest I'm OK with but these are my favs.

>They're really just Disney now.

Big Hero 6, Tangled, Zootopia, Wreck-It Ralph.

Disney's output has been superior to Pixar's ever since Toy Story 3 in 2010.

Inside Out might have been original but it fucked sucked.

Last Pixar movie I truly liked was Up

Wow. Every single thing you just said was wrong

up was sentimental cringey shit fuck that movie

the 3rd was already trash

On the contrary, Disney has been sweeping Pixar critically and financially ever since Frozen
