no power

Alan Twoduck was in it, that's why
>topkek

Whomp whomp
I liked the show, but it was obvious the show had no idea what it wants to be

>All the retarded changes like now boss is bruce wayne's cousin or something like that
producers were retarded so i'm glad.

first time hearing about it

judging from just that image I can tell it was fucking terrible

No amount of leaked nudes could've saved it.

i thought it was clear they're normal people living in a superhero world while working for batman (indirectly) sitcom?

forgot to add "it's just people are looking for something else in the show. like focus on the superheroes."

Not surprised, but it was entertaining.

>NBC
not surprised

I liked the smaller stuff like her accidentally dating a henchman. You can play on the mythology without having it be a series starring superheroes.

The main cast probably wasn't likable enough to make it worthwhile for most though.

Think CW will try to save it for their own like they did Supergirl?

They couldn't do it for Constantine save a cameo, so I doubt it

Vanessa was great, Alan was great, the secretary was great, everyone else is dead weight

They do need another comedy after No Tomorrow got cancelled, but the actors seem too big for CW.

one less shitty DC show ruining television

now if we could just get rid of the other 9

nah it'll move to DC's shitty new streaming site

Killing the Danny Ludicrous/Vanessa love subplot that was in the original version of the show left him with no real purpose other than wackiness with Funches and Not Funny Woman.

I always found Abed cringy in anything he does, so I'm glad they nipped that one
I don't think the writers ever committed to a steady type of jokes, it was dating jokes, office life jokes, rich people are out of touch snobs jokes, and exploitation capitalism jokes. The humor was all over the place.
On one hand, I think they were scrambling to see what works. On the other, I just think they are not good writers

Ah I see better judgement prevailed and that they're going ahead with this instead

I really hope someone leaks the original pilot someday, just so we know.

Didn't even know this existed.

did this come out in the UK? because this is literally the first time hearing this exists

>The first comedy from DC Comics

That's not true, Before Watchmen was at least three years ago.

Didn't even know it started airing. Guess it had no staying power

Before Watchmen wasn't funny. The only thing funny about it is the fact DC thought it was a good idea.

>I'm dating a henchman?!
[audience laughs]
>Yeah he's a henchman. I saw him on NBC last week.
>Nobody watches NBC! Get out!
[audience hoots, applause]
>Seriously!
[big laugh]
>Seriously he's a henchman or seriously people watch NBC?
[audience erupts into violent screeching and laughing, one man sounds like he might die of sidesplitting amusement]
>Seriously he's a henchman!
[sudden dieoff of audience reaction: the joke is over]
>He can't be a henchman, I met him at work.
>Well where does he work?
>At the bank!
>Which bank?
[the man who sounded like he might die starts giggling]
>The one that got robbed last week!
[squeal of anguished delight from dying man, audible over the raucous laughter of the audience]
>Oh you!
>What?
[sirens barely audible over the audience]
>Of course he was WORKING there!
[paramedic screams "where's the casualty!" but is drowned out by the howling]
>He was ROBBING the place!
>No!
[big laugh]
>It was all over the news! Look, here's GREEN LANTERN
[cheers drown out everything and the actors are forced to pause in a sea of white noise for several minutes, holding their expressions and poses in case any movement makes the audience reaction louder]
>GREEN LANTER-
[CLEAR! nothing, go to three fifty and call it]
>GREEN LANT-
[whooping for sixty seconds, someone shouts "I love you Ryan!"]
>[breaking character] HE AIN'T HERE, LADY!
[whooping, cheers]
>GREEN LANTERN stopped the robbery but some of the henchmen got away. There was a guy -
>Oh my god that's Gary!
>- and a girl -
[howls of laughter]
>oh my god that's me! I'm not a bank robber!
>are you sure?
[howling intensifies]

>not funny
But user, it was time to shit. Bitch to be you right now.

No one wanted a workplace comedy set in a bright and sunny superhero world.

They want drama and sex, violence and action.

Watched 1.5 episodes before wanting to kill myself. It was really bad. Like Supergirl levels of bad.

Please link me to a mega archive of it, I missed half of the shows.

It's not a workable model.

This would have been funny had the show actually had a laugh track
