orks and nids flood in and kill everything.

So basically Yuuzhan Vong arc

Disney has the rights to a bunch of fairy tales, right? And Star Wars is basically a fairy tale set in space. I can see a sort of Star Wars interpretation of Snow White working really well, with a Sith Queen hunting down any force sensitive children who might threaten her rule. Instead of seven dwarves, maybe seven droids.

zeta gundam but its star wars

Still better idea than TFA and TLJ combined

>Disney has the rights to a bunch of fairy tales, right
user, shit like Cinderella and Snow White is public domain. Nobody can really own a fairy tale.

perhaps disney will lobby congress to change the rules.

Felicity Jones has sex with me for two hours.

How about cherrypick the best stuff from the EU an adapt it.

What for? Disney already owns those specific interpretations of the characters. Which is why you can sell dolls of Snow White, but not Disney's Snow White.

Because we already know what exactly is gonna happen? That's my issue with "Just adapt KOTOR, lol". Protagonist being Revan is supposed to be a major twist, but if KOTOR movie was ever actually announced, everybody would know within hours.

Have the setting be internally consistent.
Market the movies to the people that actually want to like the movies.
Don't actively attack your audience.

>Because we already know what exactly is gonna happen?
has that really stopped peoples enjoyment of the few good movie adaptations?

Whoa, that looks hard.

>Yuuzhan Vong arc
so kind of speed read through the wiki page and I got to ask, who copied who?

Swords and Sorcery prequel where Jedi really are just knights and wizards and Coruscant is just one city on the human planet.

sith wars
mandalorian wars
revan wars

I miss when SW was just a fairytale in space

Basically a Samurai film version of the Epic of Gilgamesh.

The outnumbered First Order is using ancient, eldritch technology they scavenged from ruins in the unexplored Outer Rim to consistently defeat the technologically inferior Republic/Resistance fleets.

Finn and Poe are tasked with travelling to the Outer Rim to seek similar alien technology or a way to beat it. They are hunted by Captain Phasma and her elite group of ruthless Imperial mercenaries, made up of various different warrior races. Rather than being just Stormtroopers, this mercenary band is the good kind of diverse and has a distinct space pirate feel to it.

Meanwhile Rey is actually training with Luke (for months). The Force skype calls with Kylo are still there, and she tries to convince him to abandon the Empire and renounce his Sith ways. Snoke senses this and snaps the Force bond between them. Hurt and confused, Kylo goes to Luke's planet to find Rey. Luke senses he is coming, gives the Jedi texts to Rey, and tells her to leave, which makes Rey cry. Kylo and Luke fight. A conflicted Kylo eventually gives in to his hate and kills Luke, who becomes a Force ghost.

At the same time, Finn and Poe find an alien race which is moderately technologically advanced but doesn't have hyperdrive travel, that was coerced by the First Order into giving up ancient technology (which they themselves don't understand but worship as religious shrines). Originally hostile and wary of humans due to the past experience, they are eventually befriended by Finn and Poe, and they join together to defeat Phasma's band.

Phasma survives and sets off alien tech which will destroy the planet. The alien allies realize they are doomed and give Finn and Poe all the tech they need, then usher them into a strange contraption which teleports them away. They find themselves on a very strange alien planet where they are greeted by a hooded figure, who brandishes a lightsaber.

Rey, aboard the Falcon, senses her friends need her help, and sets off to help them. Cue credits.

Crime/gangster revenge heist movie about bounty hunters crew - Boba, Bossk, Dengar and IG-88 (also Aurra Sing and Cad bane if you want to please prequel/clone wars fanboys). All of them distrust and dislike each other, but still working together to steal some shit from hutt crime lord.

Take the best parts of the Thrawn trilogy, and the New Jedi Order, and combine them.

No more Sith bullshit, balance has been brought to the force, thus, the big bad is a highly intelligent general with different ideals.

Go with Lucas' idea of making the lead duo teenagers, but also make them siblings. The male sibling is tempted by the dark side, and you use this to tell a yin/yang duality conflict between him and his sister. Note that he does not become a sith, just falls to the dark side.

Explore the Jedi mythos. Also, bring Mara Jade back, but rather than make her an assassin for Palpatine, she's one for Thrawn, and rather than fall for Luke, she falls for the male lead.

Both are Solo and Leah's kids. Luke became a wise old Jedi master, who trained these two.

Also, the rouge Stormtrooper subplot with Finn has potential to be interesting, so keep that in, but flesh it out more, and change his character/arc. Also, replace Phasma with Mara Jade.

>rouge stormtrooper

Now that Disney owns Fox, a King of the Hill/Star Wars crossover.

>yin/yang
>male is the dark
REEEEEEEEEE

He gets seduced to the dark side... by a woman.

The sister is just moe. Jaina a qt. Also, tell Daisy Ridley to fuck off, and get Felicity Fey to play Jaina instead.

As hot and curvy as Johanna is, why can't she act worth a shit?
