>Converts the pope to Bajoran satanism with his BCC
How can one man be so based indeed.

He done NOTHING wrong.

Make way for the best character in Star Trek

A-hey guys! I couldn't seem to develop a recognizable personality based on decent insight into the series, deep continuity references or even halfway decent memes, so I'm just going to spam this place until it's so joyless even I forget why I'm doing it!
>pic related

...

shhh, he's shitting up the other thread right now

Who's smarter?

Miles is more practical and Brocoli is more theoritical

>How are we supposed to sell this episode about this guy jerking off in the holodeck
>What's the B-plot?
youtube.com/watch?v=5rdnP8wJ61o

so basically repair skill vs science skill

How embarrassing were these guys?
It's like a bunch of Danes larping as Vikings on the internet in 2018.

...

I really like this episode

To be fair, everything about that episode was embarrassing.

HEs So BASED

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Fall into the tub, Bill?

Why are the articles for Voyager episodes so much more in depth than others? I've been in the habit of watching an episode, then reading the page on it, but now I've gotten to Voyager they're so much longer and it's a chore to read them. Hopefully it's just the early episodes where this holds true.

How tight do you think Borg pussy is?

No

I pissed on Jeri Ryan in a sex club once AMA

Are you talking about Memory-Alpha? I wouldn't rely on it. I've filled it with numerous falsehoods and speculation.

Yeah, it's nice breezy paragraph or two with some quotes for DS9, and a huge wall of text for Voyager.

Because Voyager is better

Naw it is more casual friendly though.
And there was more cast drama to write about.

>I've filled it with numerous falsehoods and speculation.
Same. lol

>How tight do you think Borg pussy is?
Penetration is futile.

DS9 episodes are far less elaborate. There's only so many times someone can type "And then Sisko/Kira/Quark/Garak complain about their oppression."

No you haven't, you lying little twit.

You'll never know, because you're a poser. You haven't watched the shows (aside from the occasional meme episode like "Inner Light" or "Journey to Babel").

RACISM

>HIS GREATEST ENEMY

An African is the greatest genocider in the world. How did they get away with this?

I always thought it was weird that most of the main alien races seem to only have a single religion/language/culture, but humans in the 23rd century are still pretty diverse.

At most other planets have one or two religions or sects. I think the writers are just lazy. desu can you imagine writing an entire history and culture and religions for a world that is just for one episode?

I'm rewatching DS9 and I don't remember it being so hard to watch in spots. Season 5, especially. A lot of good B-plots supporting cheesy and poorly executed A-plots.

Voyager has always been a better rewatch.

I've tried a couple times to get into DS9 but its just so shit starting.
Niners are like
>Dude that's just season 1, it sucks! Just keep going it gets better I promise!
>Dude that's just season 2 too, it sucks! Just keep going it gets better I promise!
>Also season 3 is quite bad. Just wait till Sisko grows the beard and loses the hair! it gets better I promise!

If you have to sit through multiple seasons of shit, maybe the show just isn't that good.

Like what's the pay off. Did DS9 help you guys through some deep depression and after that 6 hour mark lying in your tears it really starts to get good and can't be appreciated in any viewing session shorter than 3 episodes at a time?

I've watched and read it all, hombre. Post you're edits, scum.

Doesn't the transporter gun basically break the entire series?

How did they get away with this on prime time tv?

What is your favorite star trek then?

>I've tried a couple times to get into DS9 but its just so shit starting.

It's pay off isn't even that good. The show's redeeming quality is that it's best characters aren't a part of the main cast so when they show up you nerd out and suddenly the episode is ten times better. It's an unintended way of helping out your weak main cast.

it has the best payoff of any star trek. maybe you should pay attention when you watch it instead of checking your phone

TOS or TNG depending on my mood. TOS at the moment.
Is that why DS9 fans never shut the fuck up about Garak or whoever Jeffrey Combs is playing that episode.

okay so if you like TNG and can stomach the bad episodes there how can you not stomach the bad episodes in DS9? There are some pretty great ones in season 1 and 2

>it has the best payoff of any star trek.
Don't try to characterize my post improperly. I said that it's payoff isn't that good. Meaning it's overrated and they handle the main villain so badly that it's legendarily memed on this thread and in other Trek forums.

>Is that why DS9 fans never shut the fuck up about Garak or whoever Jeffrey Combs is playing that episode.
ExACTly this! The main cast is just so terribly acted and written at times that the viewer is begging for a brief respite and in comes Dukat or Rom or someone else who is at the bare minimum entertaining. Unlike the cheap catsuit lady (Kira) or the college ballroom tier doctor (Bashir) or the Parkinson's style delivery Commander.

>you're

yeah the way they deal with dukat in the end is bad i agree. but it's definitely not overrated it is totally underrated. no one lists DS9 as their favorite outside these threads
>Rom
oh you like Rom? Opinion discarded

Wow just watched this, you fucking white males are fucking disgusting. This general should be shut down and all you sadistic freaks should be killed.

>implying that you can't find dozens of Fleetporn DS9 fags in every Trek community

...

>oh you like Rom? Opinion discarded
Are you mentally deficient? Stop characterizing my entire post out of context you literal child.

>I hate all the main cast but Rom is entertaining
I don't care what you have to say anymore

>mongoloid ginger
>white
Pick one

Cos bad TNG is still watchable and self-contained. And Season 1 TNG isn't bad TV it's just camp and silly and basically TOS phase II.
Bad DS9 is just muh religion, muh talking on the promenade, muh ferengi, muh bajor, boring. And Jake and Nog are fucking annoying.

Every single TNG episode, excepting Shades of Grey (writer's strike clipshow), and Beverly ghost fuck ep, are watchable. Even the Beverly ghost fuck episode is watchable for a laugh.

I don't have netflix, can you give me a summary of this?

no it's always TOS or TNG. DS9 is always underrated

>no one lists DS9 as their favorite outside these threads
That's not true, reddit /r/startrek is a massive DS9 circlejerk. Only broken lately by circlejerking Discovery
(Any Disco criticism is met with >DAE people didn't like TNG either to begin with lelele)
Tells you all you need to know really

OI, OYAM FECKIN WOITE! BTW LEPRECORNS ARE A NEGATIVE STEREOTOIPE YOU CIS WOITE SCUM!

>muh religion
oh i tip my fedora to you me lady

>he goes on reddit
you need to go back and stay back

>I don't care what you have to say anymore
Nope, I'm coming at you with the truth saber here. The ancillary characters are far superior to the maudlin B-movie esque main cast. The show is very child-like in it's presentation at times. Don't get me wrong, I still enjoy it but it is really a bit of a pain on repeat viewings because of the amount of filler that abounds everywhere. Any Kira episode for me is almost immediately going to be boring UNLESS Dukat is prominently featured, which he is in like a third of them.

Overall, I think the show shouldn't be watched more than a couple of times except for select episodes whereas TNG and VOY were made to be enjoyed many times over.

I can tell you're scared the way you strawman people's posts all the time, Mr. no periods at the end.

Daystrom Institute loves it too, but they're also a bunch of muslim apologists so it makes sense

Fucking white male forces his crew to be his slaves and rapes them every day until a strong white female finally comes along and kills him.

no one cares what atheists have to think

>whereas TNG and VOY were made to be enjoyed many times over.
They were made to be syndicated. Ie. watched.
DS9 was an indulgent experiment in the days before netflix marathons and multi-episode arcs were commonplace.
It failed, and wasn't as popular as TNG or VOY with the general public.
So of course contrarian faggots rate it top.

it's not to be contrarian it legitimately has better story lines and character arcs

Voyager was a flagship network show

>The show is very child-like in it's presentation at times
Maybe you should watch a show more gauged to your enlightenment, Rick and Morty perhaps?

>balding virgin creates an incredibly impressive neural interface game
>alpha chad joins in, claims all the glory and credit while bullying the virgin into a small corner office, employees don't even realize he's the co-owner of the company
>all of the employees see him as the weak loser he is, openly make fun of him
>meanwhile, he creates a private version of the game, and uses the DNA of people that somehow "wronged" him to create exact duplicates of these people in the game
>his personal mod is a shitty 60's sci-fi theme, basically TOS, the people are forced to play along or face torture
>they get tortured the shit out of constantly anyway
>virgin eventually gets outsmarted, the sentient programs escape and the guy has an aneurysm
>the guy becomes trapped (maybe forever, maybe until his real body dies, who knows) in the game alone in complete emptiness, while in the real world he's dying/dead and going to be left alone for the entire winter holiday because nobody likes him
>the former captives live in a brand new universe, free to explore and do as they wish

DUDE SWORD ART ONLINE BUT IN SPACE LMAO

So the guy who gets bullied and tries to blow off steam with a hobby is the bad guy and the alpha chad that got in and ruined it is the good guy.
Is this some weird metaphor for normies taking over "geek" culture?
Does this show also have incest?

Yes, exactly this. The alpha chad is actually the hero who sacrifices himself to help the other clones escape.

Dukat successfully murdering a pregnant woman was a different episode

>and the alpha chad that got in and ruined it is the good guy
Nah, not really, the real-world chad is a huge asshole, he wasn't written to be anything likeable. The virtual equivalent is good, but he's been enduring years of torture, so.
You eventually realize the beta is a weird, psychotic dude in the real world too and stop pitying him.

He went to extraordinary lengths to create these sentient duplicates just to torture them, and in the real world he's extremely creepy. Like, "stare at a girl all day and torture her clone because she smiled at him" creepy.

You're wrong friendo, the nigress literally tells the jewess in the office that the Chad is a good guy despite the fact that he wants to fuck everyone, and the Beta is a creep she should avoid because he gets "stare-y" if you befriend him.
