I know for a fact that kids watch these videos if they're recommended. They flood certain tags (Spider-Man, Elsa, Finger Family) with low-quality toons, and kids under 3 eat them up.
These vids are good parodies of those toons. They're almost indistinguishable from the legit stuff I've seen.

So what the hell is this trend of "Advertising children copyrighted characters but they do really weird and mildly fucked up shit" exploding? I noticed this shit as far back as mid 2000's with flash games but it's only gotten worse and ever since frozen came out it's gone absolutely fucking nuts to a point where now we have whole Youtube channels and video's dedicated to this.
Why? Do children enjoy this? It's advertised too childish to attract pre-teens who'd find it's odd adult themes strangely funny and it's way to weird for toddlers to enjoy. Who is playing/watching this shit?
it's both a bot feed and essentially a type of YouTube 'clickbait' the titles of all the videos are keywords to make them appear in as many searches as possible for SEO or whatever that optimizing for search engines thing is called.
a lot of lazy parents leave autoplay on youtube and kids will watch whatever, so the autoplay keeps going down it's algorithm and six degrees of separation style eventually these videos make it to the feed.
click bait equiv. imagine a random word generator filled with the thousand most popular search terms, and it just randomly combines 5 every time.
'mickey mouse fart baby suffering party' or whatever will appear in searches for 'mickey mouse' 'fart' 'baby' fart baby' party and similar combinations. if you've ever accidentally let autoplay run for awhile especially without being logged in to youtube, or no manual filtering done by yourself you see the autooplay just gradual filters towards this stuff because of search engine logic.
these videos are basically titled to try and trick the recommended and autoplay feeds to link them as much as possible/

It'd be nice if the world worked this way, where anger and malice could change the way people act, but it's simply not applicable to the real world. You know and I know that there are too many social boundaries in play for us to stop the effects of these videos on a global scale without some sort of active movement, which I doubt will ever happen. It's too innocent looking for the common man to think twice about. All we can do is try to reason with the few parents that we do know and convince them to stop using these as a replacement for parenting, but there are too many other parents that just don't care.
