I want to like Milo Murphy's Law. I loved Phineas and Ferb, I love Weird Al, and I even love the actress from Girl Meets World. But for some reason the comedy in Mily Murphy's Law is really hit or miss for me.

On the upside, it got renewed.

On the downside, it took Disney almost four years to air Season Four of Phineas and Ferb. So we might not get to Season 2 of Milo before 2019.

It's how networks prolong a season to maintain ratings and it's been done since Chowder.

in fairness, season 4 was barely a season. they had already decided they were kinda checked out, and didnt wanna do much more

also, let's be fair here, that wasn't that long ago. The fact that Milo Murphy came out so quickly after P+F ended was a miracle. It's just there wasn't much yet to show. what's more, even those episodes weren't finished. they contained major animation errors, and the scenes with the pistachio guys in the background weren't finished so they had to be inserted in future airings. so basically what we're getting here isn't a huge hiatus, but a very very early sneak peek

Including specials, it had over thirty half hour episodes so it wasn't barely a season.

I think Season Four gets kind of a bum rap because of a few high profile misfires in Act Your Age and Last Day of Summer on top of being dragged out for so long.

In terms of actual episodes, I like it more overall than Season Three; Four had My Sweet Ride, Kinderlumper, Sidetracked, Troy Story, Love at First Byte, Steampunx, Live and Let Drive, Lost in Danville, several Halloween themed episodes plus Mission Marvel, Star Wars, and Night of the Living Pharmacist.

by P+F standards that's short, and of course you wouldn't include the specials in judgment of it as a season.
dont get me wrong, I loved it. I don't feel those examples were misfires at all.. just bad pacing. like.. the timing.. i mean what even was that. but i've seen that happen in a few shows, i can't think of specific examples but I know i've seen it.
