WE DID IT REDDIT!

WE DID IT REDDIT!

i liked it

This movie isn't perfect but I have no idea why the critics hated it so much. The arcs of both main characters and how they interacted with each other worked well imo. I mean, what exactly did the critics want from this movie?

Same

I was absolutely enchanted

THIS! We have to admit bros, that Netflix's Bright is /ourmovie/ of the year

So wait, we are Reddit if we disregard the critics and just a movie for our own enjoyment? But we are also Reddit if we listen to critics and watch a film because then we are establishment shills? So basically the only way to actually not be Reddit on /tv is to not fucking watch movie at all?

I don't get the hate for this movie, it wasn't perfect, it's just an slightly above average action movie with shootings and fantasy element blended with gang fights.

I didn't like it but the savaging it's getting from critics is hilarious. I'm honestly starting to think there's some foul play going on with critics and hollywood production companies because the hate it's getting from them is absolutely unwarranted unless there's something happening behind the scenes.

The world building was great, LOTR/Shadowrun seems like a daft universe to do an all-races-are-equal story when orcs are literally dumb and strong, humans are the joes, etc.

Villain and plot device were absolutely atrocious and the last half of the film was really bad because of it, but the two leads were both pretty good (orc especially)

Are views going to be Netflixs Box Office equivalent?

I thumbed it down in my browser so

I blame Sup Forumstards for the reddit invasion

1.it wasn't made by the big Hollywood studios
2. It displayed an imperfect world where there wasn't the straightforward message they wanted beat into the audiences head

THE ONLY WAY TO PLAY THE GAME IS TO NOT PLAY AT ALL

Max landis raped the box offices this year, so brave

/r/ we in sequel territory yet?

Hollywood payoffs from studios not wanting to compete against a streaming service.

>Sup Forumstards are helping the jews to get even richer by making free advertising of their netflix film

what did the Sup Forumstards mean by that?

My favorite part of that is she said she was going to release a huge number of DMs where he harassed and insulted her, only to release a few messages where he actually tries to help her and then promises more but doesn’t deliver. And of course Zoe Quinn.

Bright was decent
was a bit too much of a generic cop movie at times, despite the unique setting
as soon as orc cop got shot it was painfully obvious they were just going to magic him back to life

critics hate netflix originals

Same. Had no expectations at all, and was pleasantly surprised.

It was decent but not very memorable.

Seems like it would've been better suited to an episodic tv format like Supernatural or X-Files

what did they think of okja?

That would be like a $77 million open.

It was okay. Stop shilling it so hard

So when are the sequels coming out?
And who hype for the other two Del Taco Arcadia shows?

it had a negative racial allegory for jews

Kill yourself retard, it was great

really? shatner was shilling Sup Forums to the normies, every time he farts on Sup Forums it hits the front page of reddit.

You can't say you liked it you have to say "I liked it BUT it wasn't great".

But did you clap? Its all that matters

You are a nromalfag just for using the word normie
You don't belong here
I miss old Sup Forums so fucking much

Max is incredibly flamboyantly gay, no way he has raped a woman
>unique
It's literally Shadowrun, which even calls Oakland CA "Orkland"

where?

NO SHADES OF GREY
ONLY BLACK AND WHITE
BLACK IS GOOD, WHITE IS BAD
STOP OVER COMPLICATING THINGS FOR THE HORDES

I'm assuming they count the people who watched 5 minutes and then turned it off as a part of those 11m viewers?

>rich ownership class
>pits humans (whites) against orcs (black) for profit
the elf thing was pretty fucking transparent

> The Dark Lord was born an Elf
> The Dark Lord stuff happened ~2000 years ago
> The Dark Lord was probably Jesus

yeah i thought it was good too.

>its ok to hate the jews when the media gives you a pass
>YES MY LORD I WILL OBEY YES MY LORD I WILL MAKE THEM OBEY

I can tell that word triggers you
Its ok to be butthurt sometimes just stop trying so damn hard to hide behind board culture.

Terrible movie. I say this as a Trump supporter too. Do not watch, it is a waste of 2 hours of your life. The plot does not make sense and it is filled with pro Liberal propaganda.

why they praise stranger things so much?

meant to

I tried to watch it but the racemixing within the first 30 seconds made me turn it off. When did Sup Forums get so full of reddit?

they would have been lynched by the normies if they gave it a bad review. the power of "muh 80s nostalgia" is too strong.

GUYS GUYS ITS ME Sup Forums OLDUSER PLEASE YOU GOTTA HATE THIS MOVIE OR ELSE YOU ARE REDDIT, GET IT? YOU ARE REDDIT, IF YOU LIKE THIS MOVIE YOU ARE REDDIT, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

...

It was average

Same. It was like a Los Angeles version of Discworld.

i really enjoy it

Watched it last night and fucking hated it. Left me feeling quite angry and annoyed.

>holywood got btfo by tv shows hard
Reminder nobody thought TV shows could be kino before Twin Peaks and X-files,now theyre up to movie production level. This is heavily undercutting older movie jews and their nepotic successors.
And guess what?TV streaming services started making own movies to fuck em too.

How does netflix gain a profit from these things?

I guess some people might buy a subscription for a certain movie, so they get some extra dough.

But that has to be negligible right? Is it mainly now making shows and movies to KEEP the people subscribed?

whoever did the OST needs to hang from a tree

1) Make movies at a loss
2) Keep current subscribers + add new ones
3) Keep losing money
4) Inflate Netflix subscription cost arbitrarily year after year
5) Money

I remember back in high school Netflix was $5 a month. Who the fuck knows what it costs now?

I like modern mixed with fantasy, so of course I would liked this shit.

It would've been great as a series, not as a movie.

me too. ill probably rewatch it again soon
