Paul Verhoeven had a good run. Robocop, Total Recall, Starship Troopers. Showgirls is more entertaining than most of the shit they make now days IMHO.

Can someone tell me how kill bill wasn't shit? It's literally the dumbest plot, worst acting, shittiest diologue movie that I've seen with a high rating.

I want a legitimate reason why this movie was good.
Those brothers who are now "sisters"
Tarantino's movies tend to kind of b-movie inspired so I think everyone just views them as a bit ironic stylistically so he gets away with a lot where other movies don't. It's kind of an acquired taste. Personally, the gimmick does nothing for me.
i like american sniper tho
George Lucas
It was good, most people liked it regardless of the eastern style. Great acting, decent plot, wonderful cinematography, but you didn't like it. That's fine, but you can find a better example of a bad movie... deathproof. I actually like it, but I don't ever need to rewatch it.
