Well if anyone actually bothered to read the article instead of reading the headline and screaming about Jewish conspiracies, this actually ties into his point.
The movie wasn't good or well made and is a sloppy rush job full of bizarre elements that just seem lazy or incompetent but that doesn't really matter to Netflix. The fact the movie is panned by critics and loved by audiences doesn't matter either.
The only thing that matters is that it's getting attention and that people are watching and subscribing. It's essentially a clickbait movie where the whole point is just to get views. Throw a bunch of names people will recognize or are controversial figures and people will watch.
Like how Ridiculous 6 was beyond fucking trash and yet was Netflix's biggest original movie in terms of viewership.

Bright is a direct assault on the continued jewery of movie theaters. And it's coming for Netflix who pisses media conglomerates off more than any other company. Of course they're gonna do everything to smear it.

I thought it was a shit film but I still watched it the whole way through, it was enjoyable at least. I think it would have made more sense to just make it a Netflix series instead of a film though especially with a big world like that.
