Well, the number one's right, at least.

dunkirk
baby driver
tlg
thor
spider man

even being on the list depresses me

Whaoao, nice normie list fellas!

Dunkirk was best movie

baby driver was shit

T-this was actually reddits best movies of 2017 right? Not Sup Forums r-right?

Ha No.

>the last jedi was that high

The top two are good, then it just goes completely downhill. Like The Last Jedi? Fucking seriously?

>Sup Forums isn't reddit

yikes

I didn't watch any movie on that list.
I think the last movie I watched in the year of its release was Whiplash.

Anyone find it ironic that Sup Forums always makes fun of Reddit and normies for the movie's they like, when aside from maybe two films on this list (Swap out 2049 and Dunkirk for IT and Wonder Woman) it's literally your average Normie list

Get Out was at least well made. Last Jedi shouldn't be on this list.

Blade Runner was boring

>2 hours of Britain getting BTFO

Here's Reddits top movies for comparison

ITT: people pretending to be shocked when they watched maybe 3 movies tops all year

Ha Yes.

I’m ok with this

Implying Dunkirk isn't kino

I'm sure you liked all the other movies on the list then

>your name
oh man I love that movie but come on, how fucking weeb-invested is reddit to get it this high

wait actually now that I look at it what the fuck is this ranking, weighted votes based on popularity or something?

>Sup Forums likes Get Out and TLJ more than reddit
This board is more reddit than reddit

>the top movie is literally a childrens film

The first two are largely correct. BR2049 was the film of the year, though I'd drop Dunkirk from the top ten. The remainder range from "okay" to "retard garbage" but even the tolerable ones would not have cracked any thinking person's top 100.
>thor
>spiderman

C'mon, lads.

Meanwhile Sup Forums's top 10 has such RAUNCHY ADULT ROMPS like THOR, STAR WARS and SPIDER-MAN

I don't think anyone on Sup Forums actually watches movies unless they're dragged there by social obligations

I didn't watch Baby Driver yet but I really liked this trailer, does it hold up? Is the movie this, but more?
youtube.com/watch?v=D9YZw_X5UzQ

Tastelet

just made a poop !!!

Only the opening scene was great, then it became some generic shitty drama.

>nobody saw this kino
>Denzel Wahington
>Colin Ferrel
>director of Nightcrawler

I, for one, did not take this poll seriously and submitted a meme vote for a flick I had not seen.

Meanwhile Sup Forumss top list is animé LARPing fantasy

For liking a a nice trailer?

Bullshit, they all torrent.

It's a cute, clever action film, but there is no reason to think it will join the canon of great film. I'd be surprised if anyone remembers it in 5 years. And that tacked-on ending was stupid. It's a 6/10 film. I liked it, I laughed, but it's a popcorn flick.

logan blows

>no Paddington 2

You'll probably end up liking the trailer more than the movie.

Which was better than every movie on Sup Forumss list except the top 2

>reddit literally more patrician this year than Sup Forums

Apply yourselves, fags

I was a bit afraid of that.

will some faggot from redit explain this ranking system

this place went to shit after 2016

>defending pleddit

Sup Forumss list is horrible, actually worse than Reddits amazingly. But I can't help but notice no one here has bothered to post any movies from 2017 they think deserve to be on the list instead.

I liked:
Wind River
Get Out
2049
It Comes at Night

I still need to watch 3 Billboards and Mother! and a couple others, but those are my favs from 2017. Not a horrible year, but not incredible either.

>sort by standard deviation
Is it literally the most reddit sorting method ever?

It was good in a fun sort of way

Expected more of "It". Guess it's moment has passed.
Wick 2 is doing really well, as it was released so early in the year.
TLJ is stupid but at least it beat Get Out.

No you just posted the same picture

>Logan
I will never understand the love this movie gets.

But Sup Forums is plebber than plebbit

>criticising A implies defending B
You're the one defending your inner manchild

Did retards on this board unironically vote TLJ as the best of the year?

Can’t believe I’m saying this but I’ve only seen 4 films this year
Baby Driver >> Logan >>> IT >>> shit >>> TLJ

>The Big Sick made it into the top ten
Reddit is the fucking worst.

Lady Bird is chick flick garbage.

>Get Out even being on the list
I guess Sup Forums boogeymen aren't as prominent here as previously thought.

Pretty impressive.

COMIC BOOKS R SRS ART FORM
SO TORTURED
SO BRAVE

Get Out was Sup Forums's favorite film because it shows how white liberals fetishize niggers

That's a fair point actually. I figured they'd have dropped it when the nigger goes full John Rambo and kills every white person in the movie.

you rushed to the defense of redit. own it.

Nah white liberals have been so tricked into feeling guilty they think they deserve that

No one on pol likes that movie. They all spammed Peele's retarded comments endlessly though.

It's weird, Peele always seemed like a pretty chill dude, but now he's all "TAKE ME SERIOUSLY, I AM THE NEXT ALFRED HITCHCOCK" and it's kinda lame.

This. I saw one movie this year..

Same, I voted for some animated kids movie

>Believing voting bots

Oh look it's that poll that keeps getting same amount of votes even when its original thread is gone

Did blade runner pay to shill on Sup Forums?

Unironically: the absolute state of this board

No, I did it for free

i only saw john wick 2 so i say that one

No, it's just that the autism that runs rampant here is always in favor of Baby Goose.

how do i stay up from watching this snoozefest?

>Implying there is anything wrong with it

Will he ever come out of the closet?

>Sup Forums acts like they're some bastion of film connoisseurs
>watches nothing but mainstream blockbusters

Although the maker of this poll made a mistake, people are still going to be catching up on 2017's movies for a few months.

He literally told Refn in an interview how much he wanted to kiss him.

Where have you been?

Yeah, our guy is just waiting for pedophilia to be openly legalized.

Even if he would he won't be with you ever so why bother

>The Last Jedi and Spider-Man that high
The absolute state of Sup Forums

>LOGAN that fucking high

I love it

I'd fuck him

He knows his kino

...

Nothing in my first reply implying I'm defending anyone. You're the one rushing to your insecurities seeing your favorite movie got criticised

The thirty films I saw this year in order of enjoyment:

01. Dunkirk

03. Baby Driver
04. Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri

>inb4 normie
Just like going to the movies with friends and family whenever I can

>inb4 missing Get Out and The Shape of Water
I know. I'll get around to it.

...

>B-but le oldfags told me they're just crossposting tourists and real Sup Forums posters only watch good films and are """"patricians""""
I've yet to see any good taste on this board in the last few years apart from 1 good thread in every 100

r/truefilm > Sup Forums

You may not like it but it's fucking true

>t. soyboy

I voted for TLJ because you assholes made 70000 threads about it but no christmas threads

Worked

hey, i made this strawpolll last night! here is the link if some of you haven't voted yet:

strawpoll.com/pwdkbwcp

>no Atomic Blonde
Get on it. It's way better than JW2.

Oh, that kinda looked appealing in the trailers too, yeah. I didn't bother. I'll add it to the list, user.

I voted Spiderman and star wars at least 30 times. Dynamic IP.

Does Reddit, dare I say, have better taste?

It is the only film I saw last year, so there for It is the best.
