A New Hope

>A New Hope
>Use the Force, Luke
>Empire Strikes Back
>No, I am your father!
>Return of the Jedi
>I am a Jedi, like my father before me

What is an iconic movie-defining line from the sequel movies?

“Hello can I speak to General Hugs?”

Kylo confirmed for coolest character in 2019

>2019 is only 1 year away

>Get your head out of your cockpit.

Force Awakens
"Its true...all of it"

Last Jedi
"Let the past die"

Uhmm no, sweetie

Force awakens
"I know how to run without you holding my hand!"

The Last Jedi
"Get your head out of your cockpit."

i like how she's literally wearing a halo

I will finish what you started.

"Land the fucking plane this bitch is stroking out."

>Let the Past die. Kill it, if you have to.
>This is not going to go the way you think
>Every word you just said was wrong

The last one has been quoted a lot, but isn't anything striking. The other two (especially the first one) are though. With that said, The Last Jedi was shit.

The Force Awakens:
"It's true. All of it. The Force, the Jedi. It's all true."

The Last Jedi:
"Let the past die. Kill it, if you have to."

>>when I kill you I will have killed Disney's Star Wars Episode IIX The Last Jedi (in theaters now)
Really rian?

what are the phantom menace and clone war's defining lines? revenge of the sith has too many to list:

>it's over, i have the high ground
>did you ever hear the story of darth plageuis the wise...
>i am the senate
>noooooooooooooooooooooo
>... even the younglings
>execute order 66
>unlimited- powah

>Luke Skywalker. You’ve been hidden away on this island for years. You might know all about the Force, but you have a LOT to learn about feminism.

I heard some audience members groan at this line, but I think in this day and age, a line like that is politically relevant. Luke’s two teachers, Ben and Yoda were both male, so I think his view of the Force and how it applies to gender roles is actually quite limited. I was pleased to see that when he met Rey, she was teaching him just as much as he was teaching her.

Where Luke lost his hand and lightsaber by playing into Vader’s terms -Rey actually broke that same lightsaber the same way she’s breaking all the rules about what a female Jedi or female protagonist is SUPPOSED to be. Where Luke reached enlightenment by tossing his lightsaber away, Ray broke the damn thing in half.

I’m going to bet that by the end of this trilogy, she will have redefined the Jedi’s role in the galaxy (with mandatory whining from neckbeards everywhere), and she won’t spend the next thirty years sulking alone on an island afterwards.

She’s building on what came before -and she’s doing it better. It’s no surprise that at the end of the movie she’d won Luke over to her way of thinking. He found a way for the Resistance to escape using non-violence and symbolized using the weapon that had been passed down to Rey.

Most definetly the boldest and most politically relevant Star Wars movie yet.

to complete the look, she should have been at least 250 pounds.

We are the spark the lights the fire that lights... something resistance.

Fuck I can't remember the BS lefty propaganda. Whats wrong with my brain?

There are none.

>Luke’s two teachers, Ben and Yoda were both male, so I think his view of the Force and how it applies to gender roles is actually quite limited. I was pleased to see that when he met Rey, she was teaching him just as much as he was teaching her.
Honestly would have preferred one of the female jedi masters if I was a youngling

The women and the children too
I will become a great jedi and free all the slaves

um, excuse me sweetie, did you just ASSUME xer gender???

There was lack of female jedi, even if there were, the female apprentice were given priority rather than male ones. You would probably end up with an old geezer than a milf jedi.

Ironic

>TELL THAT TO KANJIKLUB

The fact that no one can meme any actual lines from TLJ or TFA is evidence they contain no original content whatsoever and we have to make up our own hyperbolic examples.

>Not "It's treason then AAAAAAGGGGH"

Sheev has a number of choice quotes.

>I'm a dirt-poor scavenger from Tattoine...I mean Jakku
>That means I know how to fix shit on the Falcon

Fuck off nuWars, only Han and Chewie know how to fix the fucking ship.

You can always tell how bad a movie is by its meme potential. TFA was a perfectly serviceable movie and as hard as we all tried, there were no lasting memes from it. TLJ is already providing memes that are spreading and growing organically

>But not to me

Honestly it's so hard to choose just one.
>DO EEET
>Did you ever hear the tragedy of Darth Plagueis the wise?
>Are you threatening me, Master Jedi?

Fucking perfect character.

So who talks first? You talk first, I talk first?

TFA: "I will finish what you have started"

TLJ: "Green milkies is better than blue"

Every word in these movies is wrong.

Kylo Ren's speech to Rey in TLJ is alright.
