Wow

This is powerful..

too bad she can't fix ben like she fixed the falcon

referencing old scenes like this isn't difficult. I don't know why fans take to this so much and act like it's so deep. We all saw the fucking movies. Stop echoing them.

There was no excuse for Rey refusing Kylo's offer. This was the greatest failure of a film full of failures.

It's like poetry, it rhymes

God Reylo is so hot

let the past die

>when the white girl wants to run off with the white boy and create the white empire but then she remembers all her leftist mates

Fucking hell, Daisy can't act for shit

What cheap fucking writing, glad I haven't seen this trash

Her accepting his hand would actually have been a subversion, and lead to something interesting to look forward to in IX. Now we don't really have anything.

>let the past die
>yet practically do the entire OT all over again

What did they mean by this?

What did she mean by this?

It would have subverted our expectations and the typical Star Wars narrative, but politically it would have not been subversive in the typical leftist sense to have the white woman get with the white man

I actually thought that she would accept. That would have made the movie actually way better, especially with the dark side subplot they were going with Rey.

What Kylo Ren was offering is hard to argue against. He wants to demolish the concept of Jedis, Sith, the Dark side and only have the force be one entity, all sides of it are equal, but all are greater than those who can't manipulate it.

Reylo tumblrites please leave

THIC BOI X REY RAY= OTP!

TLJ was another rehash. Critics are in love with it because it aligns with their political and social opinions. There is literally a subplot about mansplaining and Rose stops the film to lecture the audience about the evils of capitalism. But you don't even need that address those issue to explain why TLJ is a terrible film. It's jokes aren't funny. The Casino Bight subplot breaks the film. It ruins the flow and is ultimately pointless in the grand scheme of things. Rose very likely made the lives of the slaves more difficult. The writing is prequel levels at best. Holdo's plan makes no sense. How does she know the First Order wouldn't notice them sneaking away from the main ship? What reason does Holdo have not to share her "plan" with Poe and how does she not notice the mutiny forming right under her nose? What did she think was going to happen? And this movie follows ESB and then chooses the most anticlimatic resolution to things possible as a means to "subvert expectations." Just because you do something different doesn't inherently make it good. The arms dealer element could have been interesting. Though it isn't explored.

he was also offering to just fucking let Rey's friends die

And? If she accepted his offer she could have then convinced him to stop firing

She has only known them for two hours.

They aren't really her friends, none of them ever did anything for her other than send her to find Luke. She doesn't have any actual connection to any of them, not even Finn (who basically just tagged along with her when she stole the Falcon). She has no stake in any war or political anything. She actually is a nobody with no one, the only interesting or reasonable thing for her to do is go with Ben who she has a connection to.

Shes too nice for her own good.
I mean and shes naive too, she went from calling Kylo a monster to almost jumping his bones in what ? 3 days ?.

I don't see what the dude sees in her...i suspect bad writing.

Why is the bottom pic blurry?
