Well, it was going to happen anyway if he wanted to go back in the past and erase Aku's damage to the world, right?

>YFW you saved the fucking world and ended thousand years of atrocities

99% of them died during the Final Battle in the future.

>implying a fictional cartoon is going to have chaos theory bullshit apply to it's unwritten canon
>implying Jack's friends won't just be born through different, more ideal circumstances, without living under the evil that is Aku
Why do we need to push this "they will never be born now" meme? From Jack's POV, the future isn't written yet. Anything can happen, but the important thing is Aku won't be the agent of change shaping the entire world around them from birth to death.

Can't we just be grateful the centuries of Aku's genocidal tyranny won't happen? Do we really need to pull the "maybe the world would be even WORSE if Hitler was never born!" card here?

How can we erase 99% of Sup Forums from existence

> tfw you never said your actual name for over 50 years

>tfw it's been 50 years and everyone has been calling you a nickname, and you have forgotten your actual name

This isn't new, he would have always lost his friends from the future if he was gonna go back to the past you negroid

>Jack doesn't care about the "aku infested hell" that he erased

Why would he? Why would he care about the "aku infested hell" he was force to live in? Look back in the seasons, he appreciated people being kind, but he clearly always wanted to just go home.

The future was pretty awful; full of crooks, monsters, and other eldritch dangers, and if they wanted to keep it, his friends wouldn't have come to help him get back to the past. Even in previous seasons, people like the lizards and the monks tried to get Jack home even though his victory would have potentially wiped them from existence because life under Aku was just that putrid.

and? if he didn't defeat aku then aku was going to kill literally every single friend he had in the past you retard

Something else to think about:
It's implied or outright shown that Aku conquers or destroys other planets and forces the life to move to Earth which is his main dominion planet.
So, because of what Jack did, those planets and their civilizations and life can develop naturally.

Im not sure you would call most of those people his friends. Most of the people Jack met he interacted with once and then just walked off to somewhere else and did the same thing again

Scottsman is the only one who comes to mind that can be considered a friend

>"maybe the world would be even WORSE if Hitler was never born!"
Hitler did nothing wrong.

this, besides
ashi dissapeared because her existance was linked to Aku
so the rest are fine

> Do we really need to pull the "maybe the world would be even WORSE if Hitler was never born!" card here?
there'd be more jews and that'd suck desu

I kind of wished he would just defeat Aku in the present. The message would basically be that you can't change the past, but you can make the best of the present. Jack proved that he could find beauty anywhere, even in Aku's world.

I don't know, sounds nice but it would cause a controversey, afet more than 50 years of Jack trying to get back to the past, and 15 years in real time he doesn't get to go back. People would be pissed.

It would still be sad though, Jack doesn't age but Ashi does, regardless of her being related to Aku. He would out live her, but would get to spend a eternity with Scottsman

If you wanted to keep Ashi around, maybe the Aku magic doesn't have her age as well, then Jack, Scottsman, and Ashi just roam around endlessly helping those in need.

What about the people he knew before Aku? The people he trained with all those years and the friends he made through his early journey?

they were at his wedding

Yeah, I guess it still would be sad. Though, to be fair, this ending already did cause a lot of controversy. Jack never gets to see any of his friends ever again, or the love of his life. We all grew pretty attached to these characters, and then he had to throw this character Ashi in too. It's ironic that the thing we all wanted the most would cause so much sadness.

At the very least, I wish there was some sort of alternate ending.

Literally ancient history.

Yeah but I mean wouldn't it be selfish to let them suffer just so Jack's new friends could exist when they shouldn't?

>endlessly
Sounds like torture

Nobody cares about Jack going back to the past. You watched the show because of the people he met and adventures he went on in the future.

All people care about is him defeating Aku.

Maybe, but at least you're with your best friends.

One question, and this is probably a silly one; is Jack still immortal? Or does that shit no longer apply?

If he has to see everyone he loves die while he wanders the earth for eternity; then that's true hell.
