Probably bi.

Peppermint Patty was a brash tomboy and Marcie was just autistic.

In the comics Marcie was repeatedly shown as having a crush on Charlie Brown.

One was a retard
The other was her boss

Nah, but they probably "experimented" (read "fucked") once.

gay for charlie brown

That sentence doesn't make sense
They're girls

is charlie brown a girl? so, yes

This never really hit me as a kid until I saw "Snoopy!"

Maybe.
It's cute, that's for sure, though.

Why did she call her "sir", even?

you're gay

Marcie's just overly formal. If Patty hadn't reacted to it, it probably wouldn't have stuck.

People that think they were gay are normies that didn't actually follow the comic strip enough to know they weren't AND relied on stereotypes. Charles Schulz himself even had to deny that they were lesbians, and people still seem to think they were.

Don't pretend you're being progressive if you think they're gay, when the assumption is based so heavily on stereotypes, either. I never understood people that do this.

Marcie was, her overly aggressive affections toward Chuck were a ruse, a common approach some homos take to gain attention from the one they truly love

well, i personally just think it's a cute idea, no more no less. you dig?
oh shit. wait. is this what "shipping" feels like? oh no.

Marcie first appeared as a side-character in a story about Peppermint Patty going to a camp and being put in charge of a cabin of younger kids. When she first appeared, Marcie was a lot younger than Peppermint Patty like how Lucy was a baby while Charlie Brown was around four or five.

Because Patty was older and in charge of the group, Marcie kept calling her Sir since she thought that was how you politely addressed a superior; she was too young to know that Sir was used for men.

Readers loved the character so Schulz brought her back and kept the Sir business even though Marcie was now as old as Peppermint Patty.

AT BEST, they could be bi. Nothing in the comics indicate that they were lesbians. Hell Schroeders obsession with Beethoven is more gay than they were.
Don't forget that they were also both shown to have crushes on Charlie Brown

I hate memes like this.
>LOL, PATTY AND MARCIE ARE GAY
>LOL, BATMAN AND ROBIN ARE GAY

It's not funny or clever

>Charlie Brown get both best girls
Feels good, man

No; in fact, Marcie'd cut a bitch over Charlie Brown.

Oh, huh! Thanks

Charlie Brown is the male equivalent of Beverly Marsh.

Man too bad he liked the red-headed girl

His life would have been so different

Also that time Peppermint Patty sees the red head for the first time and falls into severe depression

>Brash tomboy

One of my favorite types.

Peanuts is best anime

They were both crushing and Charlie Brown so no. If anything they were the straightest girls other than Lucy.

Patty and Violet are the ones you have to watch out for.

OP it was pretty obvious they were bisexual and trying to draw Charlie Brown into a D/s 3-way arrangement with them but he was just clueless. Perhaps this has happened to you in college.

...

That's depressing.

Better?

...

just because it makes fun of your sexuality doesn't make it not funny fagbro.

god, the peanuts comics and cartoons make me want to violently punch a hole in the wall. it's all so cute.

Infinitely.

why does she want to continue the game so badly

If I'm not mistaken, that was the last strip she really appeared in; Schulz died the next month and her appearances afterwards were just as a background character or as reused artwork in the final strip.

bi most likely they both had a crush on Chuck

She can't stand being alone.

>Check

good job user

All women are born bisexual. A majority simply express mostly heterosexual tendencies. It's likely that they felt some sort of twang of sexual intimacy, especially Marcie who was likely into submissive shit.

Charlie Brown was a subtle-harem comic wasn't it?

KISS HER, YOU BLOCKHEAD!

There's this whole storyline where Marcie stops by Charlie Brown's house because she's stressed out that I've always liked.

Starts on October 15, 1990.

Anyway, for whatever reason, this strip in particular out of the bunch has always felt oddly touching to me.

that's mostly true except some women are gold star lesbians and some are truly straight

Peanuts is the best harem anime.

i think it was only those two that like him Patty would play that she didn't. she once accident cruelly denied liking him front of him. Chuck only had eyes for the little red hair girl.

>I don't wanna play with myself! I wanna play with MEEE!

How do you feel about iceman?

She remembered his dream girl

Sports is all she has.

This came out the same day I was born. How interesting. Is there more to this?

...

...

...

Fuck this meme. Both crushed on Charlie Brown.

This was a Family Guy joke.

How does it feel making Family Guy-level observations.

I want tumblr to leave.

Marcie was always best girl

we ain't ever gonna make it

Patti was straight. Marcy probably was as well...but I'm betting she had lesbians raising her.

>i know you could never love someone like me who wears glasses

Fuck no, they were more straight then half the damn cast.

...

Literally just like one of my Japanese cartoons

NO

Well who put this invisible onions near me?

>(mostly) oblivious protag who is a nice guy
>best girl isn't the main girl so she will never win
>tsun childhood friend
>nerd
>loli imouto
>no homo best friends
Peanuts Z - the harem anime when?

They weren't lesbias, everyone is just stupid

Pic related was posted by the official Cartoon Network Tumblr for fuck's sake

I'd pay money to see that.

Batman and Robin are way gayer than Patty and Marcia.

Canon says no.

No, they both wanna the Charlie D.

There is a couple that lived in my old building that looked EXACTLY like them.

Didn't know if that was what they were going for but they nailed it perfectly.

Wait, green shit was a girl?

Jesus Christ, is that Pig Pen? It looks like a fucking monster from a creepypasta or something.

Okay this is really fucking cute.

Maybe, they both were in love with Charlie though.

If that blockhead played his cards right he could have had it all.

Patty was actually admittedly based on his lesbian best friend, a tennis player, and Lucy on his ex wife. That's how the real rumor started. Schulz went on to say while his good friend inspired her, she's not identical and therefore has a crush on Chuck.

I'm like 67% sure that Marcie doesn't like Charlie Brown at all. She just looks up to Patty and sees her go after Charles, so she thinks "clearly she knows something I don't".

no, it was a traditional christian cartoon wich means some people get some perverse pleasure from corromping it like when you wear your mothers clothes and masturbate

I have no words

How can the be gay if they both have the hots for Chuck.
One of them is trans in denial, though.

...

Oh no you don't. I don't want to feel like shit today, stop posting affectively abused Peppermint Patty. Post happy instead

But if anyone could turn two girls that love him gay for each other besides Mako, it's Charlie Brown.

Lucy was a little too into picking on him to not be attracted to him at all.

Which one? I think it's Marcie.
