The forces of good and evil are colliding as we speak. On the dark side you have the manipulative corporate evil of Disney trying to control the minds of the world, and on the side of freedom and justice you have... the LITTY.
Anthony Barnes
I believe it, although JC was a good movie
Benjamin Davis
even if these are mostly false, if they are denied there is still some truth to all of it. and its something that should be brightly shined on until after the last(next) movie.

JJ has deep seething hate for Lucas.
KK has deep seething hate for Lucas, she was never a Lucas apprentice, she was an on set fluffer """"producer"""" for Spielberg way back when.
Bob Iger has presidential ambitions for mid 2020s.
Rian Johnson has a deep seething hatred against Lucas because he feels insecure in his worldbuilding skills after people lampooned the trite last act of Looper.
Rian Johnson is an avid used of prostate toys. He writes scripts when the toys are buzzing in his anus to feel "more feminine"

Sounds about right DESU.

John Carter was a big budget film based upon a group of public domain sci-fi novels from the 1910s/1920s that were a passion project of the guy who ran Pixar. They spent an obscene amount of money making John Carter with the intention of launching a major sci-fi franchise out of it, with Taylor Kitsch (who at the time was being pushed down everyone's throats and then some) as a big time leading man.
John Carter was going to be a flashship franchise, Disney's premier sci-fi franchise ripped from the tales of the public domain. It failed miserably, as fans avoided it like the plague and critics shitting on it and declaring it one of the biggest flops in cinema history/Disney history.
It killed the career of the guy in charge of Pixar and basically was a massive black eye to Disney. It would have pretty much crippled Disney's film division and dire consequences for Disney as a whole, if they did not have Frozen/Marvel movie money pouring in at the time, to caturize the wound. And (along with True Detective) basically destroyed any hope Kitsch had to be a major leading man along the lines of Chris Pratt.
That said, under the scenario OP gave, Disney would have bought Star Wars explicitly to rape it because they are pissy that their big cinematic sci-fi franchise was still born. More to the point, they want to feminize the SW franchise, because the only lesson they learned from John Carter bombing, is that it's not worth chasing after the male target demographic (because they didn't swallow up the bullshit Disney was selling with John Carter) and just want to turn Star Wars into another wing of their femi-nazi Disney Princess engine of death.
Brandon Parker
I’d believe everything except for the part about John Carter. I’m more willing to believe they’re doing it as part of a social programming scheme to fundamentally change society.

I had no clue what John Carter was when that movie came out
Carter Campbell
John Carter was like 40 years old even when Carl Sagan read the books. Without any real public image or cultural impact, it's just a weird series to choose. Maybe start off with a TV series or a cartoon or something to get the public awareness of the Burrough's novels out there. It'd be like Sherlock Holmes fell out of popularity in the 10s, with no movies or TV shows, and then suddenly 100 years later they want to do a $100 million movie staring RDJ and Jude Law. That's literally what John Carter/Barsoom was.
Gabriel Campbell
Star Wars was methodically feminized by Disney, because they're run by sociopathic capitalists who understand the power of neo-liberalism in modern society. The men and women behind this machine do not care about feminism or any of the spiritual virtues behind liberalism, but they do understand that major population centers where millions of people live and consume are habitually neo-liberal. Consume being the operative word. So they created a franchise with a neo-liberal spin that would help embellish their name and create an imprint on liberal culture as a whole. The fact that Star Wars was already an established brand was just a plus. Star Wars is an inevitably successful product. No matter what damage TLJ has done, the follow-up film will make 800 million at least because the demand is just there. People want to know how this will end, even if they know going into it that they will hate it, because we have some sort of indwelt spiritual infatuation with it.
HOWEVER, the fandom all but dictates the culture of the thing and it how it is received, so even if the nu product is a soulless cash-in created by gutless capitalists, headcanon and old canon can remain scared.
Alexander Stewart
I'd believe every work of what you said.

I think they're just communists who seek to destroy anything which they perceive to be a threat to their ideology. Star Wars is a giant franchise which accepts everyone. As such they much destroy it in their cultural revolution.
Jacob Anderson
What’s even sadder is that John Carter was a legit good movie! I fucking loved it. It wasn’t marked correctly.
Michael Morales
Nothing surprising there.

John Carter was a classic. If they'd one it right it would have been a good movie.

>What if I told you, that Disney intentionally wanted to destroy Star Wars fan loyalty to take revenge for the bombing of John Carter of Mars? I don't buy it. That was one of those movies where you could tell even they didn't have faith in it. Even if they did, that's really fucking petty. >What if I told you that Bob Iger and Kathleen Kennedy are utter sociopaths? I hear water is wet too >What if I told you that JJ hated Lucas' guts? Not surprising, George made one of the most successful stories in history with only white people. >What if I told you that the murder of Star Wars spirit was malevolent and intentional? I'd say it's weird to say it that way because what they're really just doing is making it so that in the future it will be as easy as humanly possible to make money on the brand >What if I told you that Disney is run by truly, empirically evil people? It's been like that ever since Walt died >What if I told you that YOU the audience, it the last hope for mankind and not the rapers of Star Wars? Sounds pretty optimistic.

What can we do about Disney? They are too powerful now. Disney now holds one of the most unbreakable monopolies, and is bound to control all of media. The only way to stop Disney is a huge scandal. If Op is not a faggot he should give us some real dirt about what's going on on the inside.

You don't understand. Star Wars fags never gets that movie. That movie is perfect for them; it'll be a great film. And I'm gonna run it out of the business, and let me tell you why. (then, after he stands) Star Wars ruined one of Disney's most valuable projects. For five years we had it under prodcution. CGI, rewrites; casting, media campaings. We spent hundreds of millions of dollars on it. We were gonna make it a big hit! And let me be even more frank, just to show you that I'm not a hard-hearted man, and it's not all dollars and cents. It was beautiful; it was young, it was innocent. It was the greatest piece of film I ever saw, and I seen'em all over the world! And then SW fags come along with their prepubescent voices, and shitty nerd logic. And it bombs. It torn down just to make us look ridiculous! And a studio in our position can't afford to be made to look ridiculous! Now you get the hell outta here! And if that Ewok tries any rough stuff, you tell him I ain't no Indy 4! Yeah, I heard that story....

They should make a reboot or a sequel to the original. The first movie was really underrated.

its kind of too late? i dunno. surely the hot female lead is old and ugly by now
Lucas Harris
If not a sequel, than a reboot. Just call it John Carter of Mars this time around so it won't bomb.

All but the first are true. I liked John Carter. It's issues were because the Stanton(?) cared too much, and actually needed to relax his sphincter a little. Let the marketing people have some input. SW is the exact reverse, they hate SW and only wanted to subvert it.
Hudson Moore

Never attribute to malice what you can attribute to ignorance. Disney is not malicious. Kathleen Kennedy and Bob Iger are not malicious. They're just *stupid*.

It's typical illuminati taunting, the know what's going on, they rub it in your face, they declare it a moral outcry to deviate from themselves the crimes they commit, but they are the ones doing the raping and murdering.
I don't doubt every kid on that set was part of an MK ultra program and was brutally raped.
Nicholas Roberts
What if I told you that the artificiality of the new CGI disney puts in their films is part of a conditioning to the new world order's plot to transform the world into a clinical dystopian prison?
Jacob Stewart
This. I believe Iger and Kennedy got moist about killing off Luke Skywalker at Christmas time. I believe Iger wants to eventually usurp traditional Christian/American holidays with Disney/Global holidays using Star Wars. I believe Iger and JJ view Star Wars less as a classic franchise than an epic vehicle to transition American society from a patriarchy to a matriarchy, from a white society to a multi-culti melting pot, from a religious society to a spiritual New Age-Disney society. And as OP said, there is malevolent thinly veneered disdain for Lucas, canon, original fans, white males, and Luke Skywalker behind the new films. I believe Luke's death was intentionally done at Christmas as a joke about Jews killing Christ. They did it to spite the overlord God, George Lucas, essentially killing Lucas' son.
Iger is a sick fuck. I hope he does run for president. He has no idea, like Zuckerberg, how detached and icky he'll seem to normies. Solo will flop too. That Jewish actor will literally redpill normies about nepotism. Even Iger can't power force a PR campaign to make that actor famous and likeable overnight. Tick tock.
Benjamin Moore
>Taylor Kitsch sucks Circa John Carter, this guy was being pushed as the biggest actor of his generation. It was insane. He had another big movie bomb that year. Then True Detective 2, the worst thing HBO ever made. They even tried to make him do gay scenes in it, but he refused so they rewrote it as a closet case.
He's not Jewish, but I bet his family is super connected. He has zero charisma. Weinstein even cast him in his upcoming Waco miniseries. I don't get it.
Ayden Diaz
There is something more simpler. Hollywood are nihilist, all of them, and they can't write nothing but nihilist shit. They can't write a moral character or characters driven by morality to save their life, this is why Luke became a child murderer, to them anyone can kill a child regardless of their moral stance and development before that moment.
Brayden Mitchell
Gut instinct says this is legit. Disney vs White America ostensibly. Probably why Apply is buying Netflix next month.
Dylan Hill
It's literally part of the vampiric ritual. Laugh in the face of the victim.
It also uses a MK technique called "sublimation": to make the masses "sublimate" the unconscious desire to rebel against the tyrannical overlords in fiction, so they don't have the need to do it in reality.
Disney is incompetent at sci-fi. Very few are good at it and you need no interference so that you can keep it as scientific as possible without ruining everything like we saw in 8. John Carter was very poorly directed and written.
You cannot skimp on an excellent writer and director with scifi.
Matthew Anderson
>Disney buys one of the most extensive ips in history just to run it into the ground >Disney holds grudges instead of being the soullessly opportunistic hustlers they've been shown to be time and time again Listen friendo, it's all business to them. Will they milk Star Wars dry like an old cow? Sure, but they have to keep it alive for the maximum amount of time to do so. Also, Star Wars isn't some sacred artifact, it's just another up. Don't take it so hard.
David Murphy
If you're a director and bend over for said companies you are the problem. JJ's 7 was leaps and bounds better than 8. 8 took a huge dump on everything including the actors, the lore, viewers, fans and JJ.
Leo Russell
Only ever saw part of the movie but I read the book and it was good so I wish it had done better.
Hunter Miller
NWO ideology has found that capitalist-communism alla China is the way to go to literally herd the masses into a consumerism-based 1984. A fascist dystopia, with a SJW rhetoric paint job.

Jaxson Flores
If that was their intention they could have done a better job at least.
Last Jedi is so awfully paced and cringeworthy that it's embarrassing. Anyone who actually enjoyed this movie in its entirety has brain problems.
John Rodriguez
What if I told you, obsessed DCucks are on a crusade against Star Wars, shitposting all day?
What if I told you, they can't get over their movies being shit, so they blame Disney?
Dominic Bailey
It's all about money and how to best drain it from you. They know the future of the US and Europe is more non-white, so that's why they have to get rid of the white maleness of Star Wars. It has to be "for everyone" because it can't be perceived as "white people" culture.
The point of 8 is to accelerate the deconstruction of star wars as a cultural touchstone. This is why Rian Johnson is getting control over a new trilogy. Ep 9 will end with the rest of lore being firmly shat upon, but packaged by JJ to "feel like Star Wars". It will destroy everything about the OT and PR.The new trilogy will be aimed at kids and teens, unlike 7 and RO, which were really aimed at manchildren in their 30s. 8 was the transition - kill off Luke, shit on the lore, and start the prep for the new trilogy, with 9 just a wrap up.
The new trilogy will be basically teen Hunger Games/Harry Potter hybrid with Star Wars imagery. It will not reference the OT, except maybe Vader (since its just a costume). The idea would be to get the same generational momentum as Harry Potter. The hardcore Star Wars fandom is too old to milk for much longer and the kids don't care about the OT which is 30+ years old now. They don't care about Mark Hamil being Luke. They think those films are boring and old. They need to cut away from it and make it something else.
Bentley Morgan
There is no special motive for Disney/nu-Lucasfilm's handling of nu-wars. They're just incompetent. No plan going in and it looks like they still don't have one when the trilogy is almost done. Disney is only interested in Star Wars so far as making a profit from their investment, after which it can do as well or as poorly as it wants and they can feel content knowing they've removed competition from the market. That's why they play it safe with story threads that mimic the older movies. Reddit plays a role as well as it is an easy way for companies to gauge casual pop culture and what makes money, or in recent years how to influence these factors themselves.
Leo Gray
>aimed at manchildren in their 30s >The hardcore Star Wars fandom is too old to milk for much longer.
Dylan Richardson
I think the problem is they genuinely tried to make a Star Wars film. There are some good ideas there, but it's just awful. Subversion for the sake of it.

Ryder King
>They're just incompetent Take advice, as you get older, you quickly learn that no one who is massively successful in any field is incompetent. Nothing is perfect, but Disney is the most formidable content company to ever exist. They literally have it down to a science. That's why TLJ is worth shitting on, it's an intentional lob at males, whites, and fans. That Disney didn't choose to be subtle by rather condescending is not up for debate, you can like it, or you can dislike it, but Disney's choice is clear. This is bigger than entertainment. This is a major transcorporation telling an entire demographic they're irrelevant.
Now, the better debate is: is Disney intentionally engineering demographic changes with other transcorps to grow and streamline profits, or are these demographic changes occurring naturally. The answer is in the middle, but it's silly to think Disney doesn't have global consumer forecasts stretching decades into the future, perhaps a century or more. Chicken or egg. Pretty soon 90% of American entertainment will be Netflix/Apple or Disney/Fox/Buena Vista, with Amazon likely buying or being acquired by one, an endgame GooglZon, as predicted years ago by the famous short film Epic 2012. This at the core is about a monopoly controlling mass perception. And Star Wars is the bulldozer to tear down the old.
Luis Garcia
For ruining Star Wars and selling it. He's a huge fan.
Who cares about their political views? The film itself fails on a FILMMAKING level. It's so awfully cut and edited it's bizzare.
No jokes land except one or two. The character arcs are nonexistent. The sound is awful. There are plot holes eeeeevrywhere now.
Character arcs are ruined in this film for the sake of getting a joke in. Luke's character is ruined. Rey doesn't even matter to the story. The preachiness is embarrassing. Arms dealing in this universe makes no sense.
Austin Allen
Star Wars has cannibalized most of the goods bits from Carter novels.
