The way studios work now I just don't see that happening again. Certainly not on the level OP is talking.

>try to make a new movie
>soyboy actor stubs his toe on shitty cheap set
>sues me for 20 million dollars
>never even memorized a single line
Until this gay earth unfucks itself, it is too financially dangerous to risk your life for art.

There's plenty of OC. It's just all on Netflix and other streaming services. Why pitch your movie to Hollywood to get a bunch of Jews to water it down when you can just have Netflix throw you money?

didn't moses commit genocide and took sex slaves? what a hero.

because marxist propaganda is not art

uh nobody, they found it user, the jews found the gold at the end of the rainbow. Making movies is about making money its always been that way. Hollywood stumbled and bumbled its way trying to find the secret formula for movies and all the good classics in the past were just accidents, a means to an end.

>Maybe people do want quality films
>*Makes bladrunner 2049
>it flops
>oh nope, golds all in the capeshit

Netflix money is even worse.
>write gritty WW2 story
>Netflix forces me to insert gay characters, a crossdressed private and for some reason an asian american commando in the pacific theater.

There would have to be a string of high profile flops over multiple years and/or the continuing of fewer movie goers. Given how saturated marketing is, it feels like only blockbusters are available when other types of movies continue to be made. However, rarely is any financially successful movie anything but an adaptation, sequel, or remake. Universal's 2015 should be the gameplan for all studios: have 3 or 4 tentpoles spread out over the year and drop a lot of mid budget movies to see if audiences will like it.

Bright was good
godless is good (only seen episode 1 so far)

>Feel the sting of the mouse on my shoulder
>With the salt of disgust on my brow
>Mel Gibson, based on high, can you hear your people cry?
>Help us now!
>This dark hour.
>Deliver us!
>Hear our call, deliver us!
>Lord of Sup Forums, remember us here in this steaming shit!
>Deliver us! There's a kino you promised us!
>Deliver us to the promised kino.
>Deliver us!
>Hear our prayer, deliver us!
>From these famished years as slaves, we've grown too old to watch
>Deliver us! There's a kino you promised us!
>Deliver us from the soyboys and
