I liked it too, OP. Can we be friends instead of fighting?

It's a great movie and people legitimately didn't get it. And I stand by that, when I read through the reviews it's obvious that critics missed a lot of the subtext.

I thought it was okay. Not the best superhero movie I've seen, not the worst.

...I liked Suicide Squad though.

It's fair to say all the DCEU movies are pretty solid but since they don't toss a joke every five minutes critics don't like it.

her, not her show.

>there are people that genuinely believe anything Zack Snyder has made is 2deep4u
This is why people make fun you.

Better than Man of Steel

Suicide Squad actually is complete shit. And it did toss in a joke every five minutes. And most of them gave me a headache. I don't recall ever hating a character in an action movie as much as this version of Harley Quinn.

I gotta be honest, I got so much schadenfreude when this movie got destroyed by people and critics alike.

Snyderfags were completely insufferable for MONTHS before it came out, endlessly spamming shit in other threads, honestly believing this was going to change cinema and win oscars.

It was amazing watching the fallout and tears. The fact that there are anons still clinging to this idea that it was some masterpiece is endlessly amusing.

Not 2deep4me and not 2deep4 anyone actually paying attention but seemingly 2deep for a bunch of people who really should have known better seeing how they review movies for a living. Or maybe the cinematic version really had a lot of integral stuff cut out, I haven't seen it.

This pasta is getting old, user.

I don't mind jokes, being a Marvelfag, but I would appreciate the jokes being at least passingly funny.

SS's second biggest problem really was the editing. It felt like half of the second act was cut out, along with Waller's plan and any real scenes of the Skwad bonding enough to justify their dedication in the final act.

The first was Leto. Even cut out as much as he was, his scenes contributed little and the whole subplot with him busting in to save Harley was a complete waste of time.

...

I think someone realized that Harley's whole character is defined by her relationship with the Joker which is why not having him wasn't an option. Yet at the same time they knew if they actually made him a main character he'd overshadow anyone else. And they knew that everyone was still remembering Ledger quite viviy and they couldnt compete with him.

They also seemed to want to go with the worst portrayal of the Joker possible.

Batman vs Superman was an amazing movie. It's art. Man of Steel was very good too. Suicide Squad was..strange, But had cool moments. Justice League looks like it's going to be shit though

It's okay to like bad things, but we're still going to make fun of it.

It was truly a glorious time.

Yeah, you and the rest of Sup Forums and the world. It's literally only like 3 or 4 people with a hateboner for the movie and Snyder.

I swear, one of these days I'm going to make one of those super long, extremely autistic videos about how BvS is a misunderstood masterpiece and noone can stop me.

It's a good film.
Better than Civil War easily.

Plenty already exist. Yours would just be a drop in the bucket of an ocean of autism.

Me too
same
> I don't recall ever hating a character in an action movie as much as this version of Harley Quinn

Interesting seeing as how personality wise she's basically the B:TAS version with the crazy turned up, mixed with the New 52 Vat origin

>personality wise she's basically the B:TAS version with the crazy turned up
"wats dat? da voices are telling me to kill people??"
No, not even close.

Marvel fags really need to stop clamouring for every film to follow the marvel formula, we already get 3 of those annually. Not every super hero film need to have quick 1 liners, bad villians and no stakes. Marvel films have their place in the industry but i want some cape films to do something different from time to time

Fuck you, I like both

>but i want some cape films to do something different from time to time
Yeah, like be good. Too bad I don't see that happening anytime soon from either company.

Harley making a bad Joke or a lame pun, yeah you're right, she's NEVER done that before. Nope!

I apologize for nothing.

It is legitimately impossible to make a AAA movie 2deep, since they have to make movies fit a formula and they have braindead retarded drugged up actors amd actresses read the script anything cpmplex would give them too much trouble reading lines.

On the surface is all you get.

It was great, then you guys overplayed it and then Suicide Squad won the oscar and it all balanced out. 2016 was a glorious year for people who hate autistic capefans

I actually laughed at that scene.

Not Harley's line or delivery, mind you, but at how tired and irritated every other character looked in response. The camera lingers enough that I think it may have been the point.

"We have to put up with THIS?"

This movie was shit

Oh man the tears and asspain over Suicide Squad from console warriors, internet critics, faggots that were mad that the Ghostbusters movie failed, was fucking glorious.

They wanted it to fail so badly and their reactions when it didn't were pure gold. Then it won an oscar , which was the icing on an already sweet cake

I won't say it's a great movie but I will say it's a fascinating movie. It does have a lot of thematic depth and it's a very interesting analysis of the archetypes the characters represent, but then there is that really rushed, just plain bad resolution of the central conflict and the atrocious Doomsday stuff

Overall it's not great but not as bad as the mcucks meme it up to be, I think the audience scores are accurate. There is little wonder it has become a cult movie while Civil War has been forgotten outside than the Sup Forums threads making fun of the awful fight edit.

Is genuinely one of the best video game movies.

youtube.com/watch?v=mxrC-DSG3oQ

Video is a bit cancerous, but the reactions are great

I loved the movie too. But these kinds of threads are retarded.

>that party full of DChads
kino

Everything Hydra Cap

>Video is a bit cancerous
>A bit

...

I don't care if you liked it. People like all sorts of things that are bad. You can like it.

But that doesn't mean it's not an objectively bad movie.

What makes it bad? Objectively, no less?

I loved it, especially the Ultimate Edition

Don´t worry, user. Your shit taste in movies doesn´t affect my life at all.

>objectively
Stop using words you don't understand, user

You're the one with shit taste

Yet you posted here reeking of anus damage

>Suicide Squad actually is complete shit.
Yet it won the Academy Award. So maybe not 'complete', right?

Grats on having objectively shit taste.

Just look at that fucking picture. Snyder really is an edgy 15 year old.

It won an award for costumes, you dipshit. It has nothing do with the quality of the actual movie, it's still godawful. It doesn't suddenly make it better because it won a meaningless award.

>Suicide Squad won the oscar
For makeup.

>Yet it won the Academy Award.

Yea, in "Makeup design".

Not only did I like the ending, I liked the giant robot.

I am a DC fag.
Everything in the current DC movieverse has been complete shit. The characters don't follow any consistent motivators other than "go where the writer wants them too". I've read bad DC fanfics that had better story telling.

I don't even have a problem with the gritty dark aspects. I love that edgy shit. But these movies dont develope the dark emotional atmosphere, they just throw dark things at you and expect you to give a fuck. If they had attempted to make him a character at all, even three motivating lines of dialog, I might have given a shit about Jimmy Olsen getting domed, but as it stood, I didnt give a fuck when he got shot. These movies dont have characters, they have fleshy props. It's all garbage and its so amazingly bad I really cant see how it appeals to anyone. I'm convinced that 90% of the posts from people saying they like this shit, are just trolls trying to get a rise. What's also surprising is how much better the animated stuff from DC has been pretty good. "Justice League Dark' while not perfect, was exponentially better than any of the live action garbage.

We know, you spam it every day.

Oh but Harley is a perfectly cromulent character without the joker, you just need a writer.

It means that it looks good. It's a quality thing.

I thought the theatrical version was absolute balls and then I watched the ultimate edition and immediately everything fell into place. The increase in quality from the special edition is comparable to the Director's cut for Daredevil.
>Cut out sex scene with elektra because matt is comelled to stop a crime.
>Significantly more court room proceedings with Coolio (better than it sounds) as well as expanded plot in how Kingpin gets captured. Also I'm pretty sure we get more Bullseye scenes but I could be mistaken.

I unironically love this.

>Cromulent
My man. ANd I completely agree that Harley can be written well, but they need to make her a mentally ill sociopath as opposed to zany anti-hero they're going for. She is a villain and needs to be written as such.

I enjoyed both that and Genocyber. That armor design is genuinely awesome.

Pretty, prettty, pretty good

I'm pretty sure the only version I saw was the extended version and it was still shit. I don't know how more screentime would save this universe's Lex or make Superman or Batman likable

I need to watch Genocyber and Cybernetics Guardian sometime. Deathforce too but I don't think it'll live up to the original.

It's a movie that doesn't make sense. Aesthetically, it passes the technical tests but that's not all a movie is - it's a story. And as a story, it's not only tedious and illogical, but it's not well conceived or original.

HULK POODLES LOL

Yeah, it got an Oscar so it must be shit. Fuck all those critics amirite?

/s

Uh yeah. Everyone liked it. It was a great movie.

This

Fuck you, I liked Samurai Jack season 5, it wasn't perfect but nothing is.

I also enjoyed Man Of Steel, wasn't perfect but it was still enjoyable and had some fun directing/scenes.

And yet Star Trek: Beyond looks a million times better.

You sound pretty pathetic.

What would he have said?

No meming.

I'm Batman.

"Tell that to Zod's snapped neck!"

The movie was too deep for the average mind to understand. This movie was pure kino.

tfw to stupid to understand a movie

...

say what you want about BvS but ive liked this since it came out.

This scene would have been so much more different if they had played upbeat heroic music (maybe the flight theme) while he was walking in. Then it goes silent and the explosion happens.

He probably would have said something like "people of earth, you have the right to know what happened that fateful day. I want you to know that I did not kill anyone, as some rumors may have led you to believe. I merely went in to save a journalist when I saw there was trouble. Unfortunately my actions that day may have escalated an already tense situation, and for that I apologize."

It misses the flamethrower bit and some of clark's investigations. thats pretty much it

"And while I didn't kill anyone I did slam a guy through a brick wall which confused people on the no-kill thing. But I promise you he survived."

That's in the Ambush Bug version. "He didn't kill that guy you idiots!" when Superman pushes the guy through the wall.

>Superman's first appearance to many was blowing up a good chunk of Metropolis then just flying away
>"Superman to answer for the destruction of Metropolis"
>Walks into congress building, it blows up before he could say a word
>Superman just stands around for a few minutes and flies off again
>When you see him again he's blowing up empty buildings with Doomsday
>Movie tries to fool me into thinking people loved him and that they're sad he's dead and not celebrating that the god like being that causes mass destruction is gone.

>IM KINO
gb2/tv/

I know it's trash but its good trash.

They should have done like the original Funimation Dragonball Z episodes and had a random voice telling the audience everyone is okay, no matter the scene.

>congress building explodes
>"Don't worry, everyone ducked and covered and they're all alright!"

M8, you underestimate the common sense of DC civilians.

How? This set the bar for worst movie I've ever seen. And it was based on my favorite incarnation of Batman. Everything about it was awful. Lex sounded like Mickey Mouse and looked like a Hogwarts reject. Superman was a cold, unfeeling jerk, Batman had guns on his car and killed tons of people, that's not how Doomsday was made, You've never met a woman like me before, need I go on?

I don't understand why we have to say "fuck you" for liking something.

"I like this thing"
"Fuck you, no you don't"
"Yes I do and so do you"
And so on for 500 replies and 250 images

What the fuck happened?

That would involve giving Cavill lines, which is always a horrible mistake.

Good man, you have good taste.

>It's a great movie and people legitimately didn't get it.
This is fact.

I liked it a lot, honestly.

It started with shills and then other people joined in because they're retarded.

>Don't worry about those guys at the dock Superman, the explosion knocked them out and the bullets that blew through their bodies made them sleepy. I made sure to call a ambulance to tend to their slight injuries and were properly jailed
>"Batman, I don't think those guys were.."
>Batman turns and faces the camera
>"WHEN I KNOCKED THEM OUT AND MADE SURE THAT THEY WERE ALIVE AFTERWARDS!"
>"That is why I didn't kill Doomsday when I had the chance then he wiped Metropolis off the map"

i always thought superman goes into the wall first then sort of drags the guy behind.
