Can't wait desu, we are actually going to see a proper adaptation of greek gods and magic in a cape movie, not that "science is magic" stuff

Best original song coming through

>I feel so empowered
Christ. I just hope is good. SJW can fuck off

i cant wait to watch the wonder woman movie
`-said nobody ever

The salt is already pouring in lmao

I want the movie to be good, but opinions like this make me incredulous.

This

It's going to be hilarious when this shit flops.

I'll pirate it once it comes out on blu-ray, but I doubt I'll be able to sit through it.
Looks like a worse Sucker Punch.

I really hope it actually IS good since I do like Wonder Woman a lot. But I worry it's going to be another She-Ghostbusters movie.

The novelty of seeing Superman, Spider-Man, and now Wonder Woman guarantees at least 500 million.

Everybody underestimates the power of a known commodity.

Based MEW

No one knows or cares who that is Sup Forums

It's not really an opinion though. Just an observation that the fact that they had chicks beating the shit out of bad guys was emotional for her to watch.

>GOTG is gonna flop
>Suicide Squad is gonna flop

Don't you get tired of being wrong? Spider-Man has a high chance of underperforming though

The fact that Phil Jimenez loved it is enough for me. He is one of the biggest NOT MUH WONDY types out there and I know he would not be praising it if they messed something up.

Fuck off you dumb faggot

...

the fact that you know her name is odd senpai, most people just watch movies and don't keep track of that stuff

>wow that movie is so good, there's so many women in it
Just watch porn.

>Ironman + Spider-Man
>Flopping

Even if it turns out to be bad, it's almost guaranteed to make more than any film featuring Spidey, sans Civil War.

best girl

Stop bringing your disgusting 3d waifus in here then.

Porn doesn't have women in it

If it's going to be so good, why haven't they released the review embargo?

This is always the most telling sign.

Are there no better reviews or opinions than this. Every single one I've heard is about how powerful it is to see a woman in this role.

>>celebrities disowning a multi million dollar franchise as Cavill/Affleck swear on BvS being good

Yeah ok.

They moved the date up to Monday. Originally it was Wednesday. Is that good or bad?

>who are you going with
>tfw your theatre has a No Singles policy

>Civil War was boring and forgettable
>So was Dr strange
>Civil war underperformed
>Spider-Man JUST revealed everything in the trailer
>No one cares anymore
>People want rights to revert back to Disney

Sony's doing it on purpose, they are messing up this movie to harm marvel.

It's floptastic four all over again

Official reviews aren't allowed to post so the best you'll get is emotional shit from fans or haters.

...

Post more

Good.

0.05 Batcents have been deposited to your Warner Brothers account; the thread.

I don't get it

The marketing isn't nearly on that level. They're not paying for it to be the entire front page of Jezebel

The fact that it's embargoed at all means it's bad

...

>Official reviews aren't allowed to post

It's out I like a week or less, and official reviews aren't allowed... I have to work some fucking will power and drop tv and movie adaptions from my list of interests. This shit is so blatantly manipulative it's more frustrating than enjoyable.

>Civil war underperformed

Are you sure it underperformed? Because it hit a number that DCEU won't hit until inflation does it for them

I don't know what you mean. It's not like you have to preorder tickets or something. Just read them when they're out.

Better than Wednesday, I guess? Maybe they're slightly emboldened by some early screenings?

It's still not an especially strong show of confidence, though. Remember how we got the reviews for Civil War weeks before release?

YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAS

>Remember how we got the reviews for Civil War weeks before release?

Legitimately no, I don't read reviews at all really. If I'm going to watch something I'll just watch it. $4 isn't going to kill me either way if it turns out to be bad.

I also don't go opening weekend either though.

This, it will still be considered a failure, but it will probably draw in lots of money. Ghostbusters 2016 had a decently large first weekend profit before dropping by like 60%, so worst case it would be like that.

>Featuring the avengers plus good reviews plus Spider-Man plus black panther
>Made $400 million less than the worst avengers film
Anyway, what award will it win

Civil War was already released in other countries, you dumbfuck. And the embargo for Wonder Woman technically lifts before release too.

Every movie has an embargo, you faggot.

Monday 9pm. Basically they moved it a day. End of the month was just a placeholder. For reference SS opened on august 5th and the embargo was lifted on the 2nd. They should lift it right now, CW and deadpool iirc lifted weeks before, and I also think they might be blowing their load too soon with so many fan screenings.

50% on RT at best

What I can't wait to see is if Wonder Woman is a success, WB scrambling to make all follow up films exactly like it.

Not the best comparison considering Ghostbusters is a much smaller brand and WW isn't changing up any main characters and pissing off the existing fanbase.

Have you got your memes ready, for when it gets 95% RT?

People on Sup Forums seem to have this problem with being able to tell how a bad movie is different from a flop or a good movie from a successful movie.

Suicide Squad was a successful but bad movie, much like Batman vs Superman because both made a lot of money despite not being very good. Wonder Woman looks like it is going to be a bad movie as well but is likely to be successful, but maybe not as successful as BvS or Suicide Squad.

That being said though, this entire thread is bait. Anyone believing the reviews by women talking about how "inspiring" it is are just setting themselves up for disappointment.

Let's hope that the tone is different from the past movies then, otherwise, we are stuck with them.

should make an edit of this with Gal

A razzy.

This seems most likely, movie looks like spitroasted dogshit

New poster

Isn't this what happened with Fiegebusters? Reviews were locked down, shills said it was "inspiring" and "amazing" and all sorts of buzzwords. Then it flopped like people predicted?

It took inspiration from your mother

>fanmade
>new poster

>There were a lot of women on screen, so powerful and moving

I'm probably gonna see it but jesus that is the stupidest reason I've ever seen to claim a movie is good.

>Those of us watching it, who are you going with?
My domme obviously.

It's a little fishy they embargo'd reactions for a while.

>review embargo
How does that shit even work? Why even let reviewers see it if they can't review it? And doesn't that just automatically raise a huge flag saying "our movie is shit and we don't want word of mouth to destroy our sales"? Has a GOOD movie ever had a review embargo?

It is when you take into consideration the "DC film fatigue" that is in the back of people's minds. Also the fact that WW has had a lot of back and forth PR saying that people hate the movie, it won't do well, people are being sexist about it, and etc.

They are very similar in many ways. The main difference is scale, I expect WW to make more money than Ghostbusters 2016, but I also expect it to be considered a failure because it doesn't break the 1B mark or etc.

She doesn't claim it was good.

I wish

Its a two-fold system. It makes sure that reviewers only release their information at the best moment to build hype for a property. You talk about a video game or movie too long before it comes out and people will be sick of hearing about it or have mentally moved on by the time it comes out.

It also helps hide bad products because there is less time for the terrible nature of the product to seep into people's awareness.

I was talking more about the fandom in general I guess. This is going to end up worse than MoS or BvS because now in addition to MCU vs DCEU assholes there will be this third party of feminists and allies that have already developed an opinon about the movie based on shit like the reviews that are out now. And it's just one more can't/won't accept criticism because they're expectations were too high to begin with or they have some agenda beyond wanting an actual good movie of WW type of asshole shitting over everything and everyone that disagrees. And I'm sure I'm wrong in the since that of course those people exist without the reviews but I feel like this kind of promotion gives them fuel or a spark to start in the first place. As opposed to just allowing the positive and negative aspects to show through from the first place and maybe temper peoples expectations and attitudes towards it.

These are social media shills who are fed talking points which are then regurgitated.

Pic very related.

You're retarded. He praised her appearance in BVS even though she's a sword happy bitch cynical about mankind, the very thing he despises.

>who are you going with?
your mom

Cvil War was crazy. It had a presss sceening like one month before release and the critics were allowed to post their reactions right after. The review embargo was lifted around 2 weeks before any release, not counting red carpets. Maybe they tought people didn't give a shit about another hero vs hero flick after the BvS shitstorm

if you don't like people talking about political agendas in movies then you deserve to be slapped.

I feel you but at the same time it's very easy to avoid all of that in the long run. For example I missed literally all the Dark Knight Rises memes and shitposting because I didn't want to see it in theaters so I just hid every thread and avoided people talking about it on social media. Did the same with both GotGs too. It doesn't take much energy to just watch a movie on your own time without the assorted bullshit. Don't be a victim of hype.

I saw the movie a couple of days ago.
SJW shit and triggered retards aside, it is a good movie. Gal Gadot looks young as fuck in it, what kind of Hollywood magic was that. The ice cream scene was cute, and the action scenes in context aren't as jarring as in the trailers.

I don't think it'll do enormous numbers but in my humble random dude opinion, around $600mil wouldn't be far-fetched.

I hope it's good. I genuinely, genuinely hope it's good...if only to see DC have at least one in the 'win' column.

'Cause I'll be honest with you lads, Justice League looks dreadful.

>Its missing Franz Ferdinard's corpse...
it seems like Raimi is getting slow...

Hey.

Hey.

Hey guys.

Here's a wonderful idea.

How about we accept each others' opinions regardless of how different they are, and the people who don't give a shit continue to not give a shit?

JL looks like more of the same shit. I have more hopes for the DCEU solos.

wow, thats the real poster

no one likes blogposting though, which is what posting opinions without questioning parts of them would lead to

But how good of a movie is it?

With Whedon now in charge, the tone being Marvelshit and Snyder sacrificing his kid, JL is going to be at least a 110% RT score.

>Hey.

>Hey.

>Hey guys.

>Here's a wonderful idea.

>How about we accept each others' opinions regardless of how different they are, and the people who don't give a shit continue to not give a shit?

Movie is finished,Widow at most might direct some reshoots. And when the usual slam comes he'll be in the front line, cause he can take it.

Don't forget the talking points.
>affected
>emotional
>I was surprised/struck by how much I liked it

I genuinely think that's going to make the movie worse. Snyder can be total shit but at least he's somewhat consistent. I worry that if Whedon has a fucking quipgasm on the bits of the film he's in charge of the jarring shifts in tone are going to be like repeatedly running into a brick wall.

And this is to say nothing of the fact that WB is probably going to take both Snyder's shit and Whedon's shit and run it through an editing food processor like they did with Suicide Squad. I expect Justice League to be totally fucking awful, like on the level of Battlefield Earth.

But then why not simply expose reviewers to the product at the best possible time? Why have this shitty "see it now, review it in a month" system?

If Ghostbusters 2016 got good reviews, this is definetely getting good reviews.

I never said the tone was Whedon's doing...JL looks like a quipfest and the cgi army pretty says it all, its going to be empty 2 and a half hours of the same shit Disney gives us every single fucking time.

They write the review right away. It's just the release that gets held back for a while. They do the same thing in comics, like how DC pulled back the Rebirth embargo because some pages had leaked online.

That's how it used to be until the shill nation attacked. It's obvious that there are certain people who are paid to influence public perception of things.

i dont hate Diana, i'm actually want this to be good movie.

I just enjoyed it, don't need to dress it up. The only thing that surprised me is what I've already said, Gadot looks super young.

I literally cried during the whole film. I couldn't see anything because my eyes were wet, but it was great.
