>a nobody loser bus driver
>has a fucking beautiful(by regular peopel's standards) girlfriend
Why these lies...Why... Isnt it enough we have Disney movies for this kind of rubbish?
A nobody loser bus driver
get your degenerate chad/beta economics out of my conservative wholesome film
Do you know many "regular" joes that work a shitty job that are dating/living with/married to some hotty?
Jim Jarmush is now making films for conservatives.
What a time we live in.
This is a female which you consider to be an extremely beautiful hotty user?
>Disney actors are beautiful
How does it feel to sleep like that
The girlfriend was unemployed. This knocks a couple points of her market value. Most guys wouldn't put up with a woman that stays home all days and punches holes in the drapes, unless she had extreme beauty to offset.
Also, how the fuck did they live off of one salary?
Maybe she's a twitch steamer
How could normies relate to a "lonely autist" if they don't even have a gf?
i'll explain something to you my dear user, some girls worlds are very small, so they just stick with the nearest guy who they perceive as their best bet. It can be her high school teacher, a mechanic with a big truck, or that kid that was cool at school but ended up at a desk job at human resources for Walmart.
The poetry in this film was terrible
So this, lady bird and Columbus. Any other quirky indie film I'm missing from 2017?
Have you seen the state of America. She’s considered a solid 7/10 with most Americans are a solid 3/10 unless you live in a rich white area.
fuck didn't mean to reply to you man.
I don’t know what world you live in but a job and a home are pussy magnets
Makes all the difference when she lets him punch holes in her meat drapes
It wasn't even meant to be exceptional. When he meets that little girl he's a bit stunned how great her poetry is compared to his, it's kind of the point. What matters is that he loves writing it, it's honest
Bus drivers unions are always negotiating for more money. He probably pulls in a nice salary and doesn’t live above his means
Meyerwitz stories
Did anyone else notice all the weird matches in this movie?
Like, his name is Adam Driver and he played a driver.
>I'm Driver
>I know
I read an article that stated 70% of American are overweight. The problem is that we have all this stuff that we think is good but it really isn’t. My brothers wife somehow thinks she is going to lose weight even though she drinks at least a bottle of wine every night and puts butter on her vegetables. Bitch doesn’t know how to feed herself but she can cook.
Bravo Jarmusch!
Doesn't help the wife spends every scene she's in complimenting it, the attention to detail about what books he reads, the unresolved issue of twins appearing in his life until a third of the film. It's a sloppy movie that drags on. I get yeah it's his raison deter or whatever posture a former theory student purports in an online article, but the film expects the audience to love tailing the working class and admire the sincerity. It's uncomfortable, with the only appeal being the bar scenes.
Films like this get lauded all the time and don't warrant it, maybe I just took it more personal as a result of working class and interested in writing; felt like Lena Dunham's take on my life.
Why does she have a beard
I remember Jim Jarmusch saying he never would have gotten into films if it weren't for Lena Dunham.
Wow, my armchair criticism struck something. Now I can pretend to have read Deleuze like the other overweight film boys at my school!
>quirky
Why is it that american film makers find refuge in this sort of ambiance? Is it a way to make drab every day life seem more glamorous?
Its like a meaningless decoration.
this is a bad photo. she has a symatrical face, good figure...yeah she is a beautiful woman.
Just imagine her in a good looking dress, with proff make up and hair and good lightning and she is literally a 10/10 hollywood star.
No, its not honest. Its a bullshit teen tier fantasy about "writing for yourself".
Poetry can be amazing but you create things to share with others and to know you make others feel something or learn something or enjoy themselves and you feel appreciated.
anything else is just fake humility.
>Poetry can be amazing but you create things to share with others and to know you make others feel something or learn something or enjoy themselves and you feel appreciated.
t. someone who never made any kind of artistic expression in his life ever.
You create everything first and foremost for yourelf, not for anyone else. No matter is it a film, a painting, a musican piece, you should make it entirely as an expression of yourself, not compromise for anyone else, it doesn't get more honest than that. Making art for others so you can "feel appreciated" sound like the most dishonest thing an artist can do.
By your definition Kafka has never made anything good or honest then, he wrote all those books without anyone reading it and told his friend to burn it all. And his friend didn't burn it all and here I am mentioning him on this very board.
t. someone who never made any kind of artistic expression in his life ever.
I in fact have both written and have filmed short films.
Yes you write or create from the heart but you always hope that it will be appreciated by others.
Kafka didnt burn his shit cause it was only for him but because the things he did publish never got any acclaim and he thought his writign was garbage.
You are literally living in a teen level fantasy world if you think people write or film or create in general "just for themselves".
