The Spider in her name makes the name part of Peter's franchise and you could get away to just having Jessica without her Spider-Woman persona but like I said Bendis making Ultimate Jessica Drew Peter's clone already screwed her over.

Hell the reason Jessica exists is because Marvel saw that someone was making a cartoon called Spider-Woman and they went and made their own cartoon with Jess and comic to beat them to the punch and trademark the name. The other people complained but they used Spider-Man as a justification for them trademarking her name and that because they owned Spider-Man that Spider-Woman should be theirs.

Sony can make the same claim since they got the rights to the Spider franchise, it doesn't matter if Jessica has anything to do with Peter or not, she has stories that have to do with him, she went with a Spider name and Ultimate Jess is connected to the Spider-Man franchise.

Nah, she was just a marvel character, any team she was tied to before her solo would have been Great Lakes Avengers. No way fox has her.

I've said before that Scarlet Witch could probably carry a movie, or at least be a deuteragonist, similar to Natasha's role in "Winter Soldier". She's got enough emotional complexity to be a lead, what with people being afraid of her because of her abilities, lingering emotional scars from her parents and Pietro dying, and there's also the larger plot points of what exactly she's becoming and how her powers coming from the Mind Gem, figure into the Infinity Gauntlet.

Apparently they've gotten the hint that duo movies are a good direction to go since Thor 3, Spider-Man HC and Antman-Wasp are all basically that to some degree, but I'm honestly surprised they didn't figure that out sooner thanks to Winter Soldier. It's there only good use of Widow there's been.

Yep. She-Hulk can't get a solo movie for this reason, and there's probably also some red tape stopping her from getting a TV show (which is where I think she could work best). But you could introduce her in another movie and have her be She-Hulk in the Avengers, like proposed.

Nah. She started out in an Iron Man story, had no real relation to the X-Men other than being a mutant, was later retconned into not being a mutant, and like said, she's going to be on the New Warriors show. I think it's safe to say that she falls squarely under Disney's ownership.
