What the fuck was that ending? It made no sense. What prevented Wallace from coming after Deckard and his daughter?

He didn’t know Stelline was Deckard’s daughter and probably assumes that Deckard died in the conveniently sunken hovercar. At the very least, Deckard has enough time to run away or go incognito before Wallace dredges up the car and finds his body isn’t there.

Just turn off your brain bro

Why the fuck would he think Deckard drowned? When they find the sunken car, there will be Luv's strangled body, driver who has been shot and broken shackles that Deckard was wearing. Besides he could just watch the recording from her memory orb.

People's inability to follow a movie's plot genuinely astonishes me, especially when it's a simple flick like BR2049. Are you braindead? How do you tie your shoelaces by yourself?

The film ended

>Besides he could just watch the recording from her memory orb.

Replicants don't have "memory orbs" wtf.

The thing is it will take some time to figure out what and why happened, so Deckard can meet with his daughter

>hiding the fact Stelline is Deckard's daughter
>there's a dead replicant lying at her doorstep

Maybe Wallace doesn't have a personal underwater CSI unit.

It just doesn't matter. The film was K's story and reached its natural climax when he died after deciding to help something bigger than himself. Did they make it? Who knows? That's not the point. Blade Runner has a similar ending (or.endings) you may recall.
