Jesus Christ, 90's CGI bugs the shit outta me.
Besides that, it's probably the best CGI of it's time on a tv budget and was really good at developing the different characters.

Beast Wars was a rather interesting mix between slapstick and serious, and while I personally don't think it works all the time, when it hits, it really does hit.
